The seasonal pot roast sanndwich is a must try, if you have never been to a jasons deli i have to tell you that you need to get there, there are so many thing that are good on the menu, the tortilla soup is awesome, i love the corned beef and pastrami sandwich, all the entrees come with chips but you can upgrade to a cup of soup, which i recommend you do, be sure to ask for a couple of pickles they go well with your meal, and now for the best part, when your done with your meal you can go up and have an ice cream cone or an ice cream bowl, and you can even go back for a second scoop of ice cream this place is a must go even if you have travel to get there you will not be disappointed.

I typically love Jason’s Deli, but this location is very dirty. We had dinner there on a week night at 5pm and the salad bar counter was disgusting, there were dirty cups out with clean ones and the dishes for ice cream were so dirty we couldn’t use them. This location needs to be cleaned up.

Great sandwitchs, the muffuletta is to dye for. Fast friendly service, locations good to across the street from the Goodman. we eat here almost every time we come to a event at the Goodman.

We had a company meeting downtown. The company ordered Jason’s Deli. Several of the boxes were mismarked, wrong sandwiches in boxes, missing contents of lunches and the bread was stale. For the price that Jason’s Deli charges, you would expect fresh bread, complete lunches and better quality. There are many better options out there to settle for less than mediocre which is what Jason’s Deli delivered.

I love Jason’s Deli. Ice Cream is free. Fresh food, friendly service. This is a great lunch spot 2 of them located in downtown. 1 at Lake and Dearborn and 1 at Roosevelt and Canal. The SB is unlimited. You can always count on smiling faces and quick service.

Have gone to other Jason’s Delis, and have always been satisfied. However, my experience at this location, the lettuce was brown, the salad bar was a mess and top it off, when I received my sandwich, there was one small strip of chicken on my entire sandwich. The service was not great, waited at 7 minutes for salad plates, and there were maybe 8 people in the store and they had already been served. The only bright point, was the ice cream.

This is one of those places you forget about, but when you go back you wonder why. I had a delicious sandwich/soup combo here yesterday. My friend suggested it for lunch and after exhausting all of my lunchtime options in the loop area it was a great choice. I went for the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich. The chicken was seasoned well, the guacamole was fresh, and I felt somewhat healthy since it came on multi wheat bread. No complaints with the broccoli cheddar soup either. You get chips with the combo, but I put those to the side and felt a little bit healthier. The price was around $ 8.00, which is pretty standard for most places. I will be back to try other options. I held back on purchasing dessert, but not next time!

Living in South Jersey, we are deprived of Jason’s Deli. Sadly deprived, in fact. Let me start by saying the primary reasoning in writing this review is the consistency of this chain. I don’t care where you go, if you see a Jason’s Deli, you know what to expect. The salad bar is always fresh, the food is always great, and the service is always friendly. As much change as we see in most of the chain restaurant groups, Jason’s has maintained. I think it is a drawing card for them. Their prices are consistent, and haven’t increased very much at all in the past several years. We all know this is NOT the case in most restaurants. Yay, Jason’s. Keep on keeping on!

So… I really want to like this place. It’s located right behind my work and everyone is really nice for the most part, however, their food is inexpensive but still overpriced because you could literally make anything they have by yourself at home and it might even have better flavor and you wont be paying $ 14 for a wrap that you had to add chicken to. It is great that they give you a side with sandwiches and they have free ice cream but you would be lucky to get your order right. I have ordered there multiple times and had minor requests, like no cheese or extra tomato, and they consistently get it wrong and don’t offer to compensate you. I think the issue with price and quality are chain wide so you cannot blame them but they could definitely pick up the slack in other areas.

Yummy and healthy. This is one of my favorite«fast food» place. The chicken club salad is fresh and tasty. They give you free soft serve too!

I work in the loop and was looking for a change from my go-to salads in the area and was surprised to see that Jason’s Deli had a salad bar and that it appeared to be highly recommended. I’m a little disappointed that I went for it. The price is actually $ 8.95(and yes it’s unlimited) but know that it doesn’t include a protein. I was not aware of that and was surprised when I realized the only meat available at the bar was bacon. My guess is that if you love the salad bar, you’re getting the full experience — the free ice cream, and mini dessert bar they have going at the end of the salad bar, and the pre-mixed salad bar options(ie. pasta salad), which is fine. If you are looking for a truly healthy lunch with some superfoods, you’ll probably be disappointed. No chick peas(or any beans, for that matter, other than a corn and black bean type salsa) or avocado or kale… or fruit, if you don’t want it covered in yogurt… That said, the salad bar was clean, the staff were really nice, I just wish there were more options at the salad bar for the health-conscious and that my experience wasn’t such a letdown.

At least I had the good sense not to get my hopes up… I heard they had a Muffaletta on the menu and was really pumped, but the olive relish is BLAND(how DO you make olive relish BLAND, fer Chrissakes?) and the bread is just wRoNg… bottom of sandwich completely dissolved in the olive oil… this MIGHT have been because I asked for it UNtoasted(Muffalettas are NOT toasted) but I would have had to eat that part of it with a spoon(if I had that kind of stick-to-it-iveness). I didn’t, so I’m just out the $ 15(I ordered the whole sandwich, because I am NOT a «half-sandwich-kinda-guy»). If I saved YOU some money, «like» my review!

I had some strange misconception that this was a small hole-in-the-wall deli, based on the signage and location. However when I finally stumbled in this is a quite expansive space with a food bar, 2 seating areas, huge kitchen, and multiple cashier lines that was quite bustling, energetic and rolling on a Tuesday lunchtime. Basic deli selections, my club sandwich was freshly made and hit the spot, decent price; I got a buzzer to wait for the sandwich, which took about 5 minutes(slightly longer than a place like Subway but expected for the fresh order and busyness of the place). Definitely a place to explore for the many other sandwich specials and food bar for future visits, I seriously underestimated this place from the outside appearance!

I will not be back We ordered three sandwiches and a cup of soup 30 minutes later — food still not here They are not that busy but woefully understaffed I am not happy and will not be back Your sandwich would have to be made by the gods to warrant this wait — and it’s not so I won’t be back So when we finally got our food, I got a turkey instead of my veggie wrap. Took it to the manager who did apologize and refund my meal Had 15 minutes to get to theater and no meal.

I received a gift card for JD so I ended up checking it out. I’m not a huge sandwich eater so deli ’ s aren’t typically my thing but the menu looked interesting so I was excited. Anyway, I ordered a cup of chili and the chicken ceasar salad. The chili was pretty good but I didn’t care for the salad. Mostly because I didn’t like the salad dressing. The ceasar dressing tasted like ceasar dressing watered down with Italian dressing. It was very runny and didn’t taste very good. The salad itself was good though. The greens were fresh and the chicken was tasty enough. I’d probably stop in to try another one of their soups but other than that I don’t forsee a reason to return.

I’m a big fan of Jason’s. I have been eating it since I was a kid, because I grew up next to one in Florida. I like that you can watch your entire meal be prepared, because you know it’s being done right. The salad bar is great. It’s always cleaned and stocked. All the food on the menu has the calories listed next to it too, so you can decide if you want to actually eat healthy or just pretend. I am usually a fan of their sandwiches/wraps. I haven’t come across one I don’t like. Best of all, free ice cream after your meal. Which I guess makes the calorie count pointless… But it’s the thought the counts.

I don’t care that it looks like a school cafeteria, any place that offers free ice cream automatically wins me over! This place is now on my rotation of lunch spots in the loop. That being said, the food is surprisingly fresh, and the service is friendly and fast. There’s tons of seating. I’ve only had the veggie spinach wrap. I had no complaints.

Their sandwiches are alright– lots of meat, but I’m not all about that. Ordered catering here for my company, and received a $ 2 off delivery coupon. The next time I put in an order, I told the rep on the phone that I had the coupon, and they told me to hand it to the delivery guy when the order came, and that they would take the $ 2 off after they got the coupon. Did as they requested, and followed up a few days after the delivery to see if the charge was taken off. The rep said they would look into it, but nothing ever happened— no follow up and no credit. It’s not the amount that matters, it’s the follow up and customer service. Also why do they take the discount afterwards?! It just seems silly to me! Their breakfast is just alright too. Nothing to really write home about with the food here.

I’m here FREQUENTLY for lunch since I work nearby. The salad bar is always my favorite i-forgot-to-bring-my-lunch-from-home spot. Everyone who works there is super nice and helpful, from the managers down to the cashiers and the other staff. Also, their chocolate chip cookies are THEBEST. and i have to force myself not to order a million.

1:15pm on a Friday and there is a line. Bizarre? Not at all. Jason’s Deli is STELLAR! Do as I say. Get in line and figure out what you want while you wait. I had the half smokey Jack panini with a side of chips and cup of shrimp gumbo. All for just $ 8! Anything from the rice in the gumbo to the sandwich was fulfilling. For me, anything with bacon and guacamole are heavenly. This lunch had the blessings of the sandwich God! As if that wasn’t enough to put you over the top, all patrons are entitled to one complimentary ice cream cone! I walked out of here carrying my belly. Do I feel guilty? Most certainly. But will that stop me from returning? Most likely NOT.
