Last year I tried this place for the first time as I lived in the building at that time. I’ve never had teeth cleaning not covered by my insurance, so after my teeth cleaning I moved out of state and I didn’t bother following up.
For some reason they charged $ 150 for my «teeth cleaning and exploratory services» to my insurance company which was obviously partly fulfilled. In the meanwhile they started sending letters threatening collection. Since I had moved and was having my mail held I missed seeing them and I cant believe my credit history might have taken a serious hit just for teeth cleaning!
I’m definitely not going back again.

Dr. Horbal rocks! Really a great, professional dentist. I was reluctant writing this because I wouldn’t want it to become difficult to book an appointment with him.

Dr. Horbal is a great dentist. He does the exam and the cleaning himself, which lets him get to «know» your mouth. When another «chain» dental office wanted to drill out a cavity of mine, Dr. Horbal advised it was tiny and could be watched… that he’d have to remove so much healthy tooth the make the filling that it wasn’t worth it. Four years later I stll haven’t had to have that cavity drilled. I trust him and have referred my whole family.

We like Dr. Horbal so much that we travel from 15 miles away. We used to live in Rogers Park, then moved to suburbs and became a family of 5. Dr. Jack lets us schedule appts so the 5 of us are booked in succession, and our kids have as good an experience as one could expect from a dentist… including being able to choose their own color toothbrush afterward. We cannot say enough about how much we trust Dr. Horbal, and recommend him highly.
