Irina Daniel, DO

We LOVE dr Daniel. We just happened on her when we were on Medicaid and looking for a doctor that took new patients. She has skillfully managed my wife’s illnesses and she genuinely CARES about our family. She referred me to the excellent OBGYN that helped me with my last pregnancy and c section.
BUT her office at 6225 Touhy (over which she has NO administrative control because she’s ONLY a doctor, not a bureaucrat), is an uninitiated disaster. The women at the front desk are a Nightmare! They refuse to help you, or let you see the Dr when it’s urgent, even when she has SPECIFICALLY said that she will see her patients who need same day attention. Blood test results go missing and no one ever calls you back unless it’s her. I requested a referral 4 months ago. Not done. Two years ago the staff tried to bar me from seeing a doctor in the same office because my insurance was in question even though Dr. Daniel specifically arranged it. She tries her best to troubleshoot but with that staff it’s a losing battle. Management /​higher ups need to get with the program. THE ONLY reason we go back is Dr Daniel. Without her we would be LONG GONE!!!

Have been a patient of Dr. Daniel for about 5 years now. It has ALWAYS been a pleasure to be seen by her. She is professional, kind, caring, easy to talk to, with an EXCELLENT bedside manner! Dr. Daniel has always treated me like a member of her family. If you are looking for a friendly and HIGHLY intelligent doctor you have found one now!

Dr. Daniel’s staff is extremely unprofessional handling customers. The front desk/​call representatives are exceptionally rude dealing with clients and customer service.
I’ve waited 4 days for a prescription to be filled going back and fourth between the pharmacy. While my health is in question, the staff would not allow me speak directly to the Dr. or nurses physician.
When I asked to speak to one MARIA (call rep) simply transferred my call to voicemail or hung up! I recommend finding another office whose staff recognizes client’s health being a first priority.

I see Dr. Daniel at her new office at 6225 W. Touhy. My HMO can be a real nightmare to navigate but Dr. Daniel is so helpful, she was able to see me right away!
I really appreciate a doctor who treats me like an intelligent person who wants to take an active role in her own health care. I also like a doctor who can make me feel comfortable when I am worried or sick. Dr. Daniel is all of the above! She knows her stuff and talks to me about the procedures as she is doing them so that I know what is going on. She is also very compassionate and kind.
Dr. Daniel listens to my concerns and takes them seriously. I’ve definitely had doctors who didn’t do that and it is very alienating. I’m so happy to have found this doctor and will definitely be seeing her again!

Dr. Daniel is awesome! Always personable and compassionate. She is currently helping me get a hold of my high blood pressure issue. She talks to you like a person and an equal. I really wish more doctors like her were around. I cannot say enough good things about her. Between her and Dr. Petrus I have all my bases covered.
