First impressions are everything. I called and left a voicemail this morning. Was delighted to see they called me back to set up an appointment however I was already busy. I called them back and was immediately placed on hold for exactly 5 minutes (had nothing else to do but stare at the timer on my phone) before I hung up. five minutes of dead space and no one checking in with you is a stretch to be consider top service or are my standards just too high– I don’t think my expectations are unreasonable. After hanging up I decided to call back to let them know how disappointed I was. I was greeted on the phone to only be put on hold again while the young lady ran to the desk. After a very brief hold, thank goodness, she asked if I were ready to set up an appointment. I explained that I was disappointed in the five-​minute hold and was told «well we’re a doctors office so we’re pretty busy». She then asked if I still wanted to set up an appointment and I quickly replied «no thank you». Again first impressions are everything and my first impression resulted in me not giving them my business, you judge for yourself. This happened on Wednesday 7÷22÷15 at 11:05a.

I had a great experience here. First of all, I showed up a little early. And, they called me in early, and I saw the doctor early! That never happens.
I saw Dr. Chou. I got to spend ample time with her. She took a thorough health history, and made me feel really understood in terms of the problems I was dealing with. She provided me with information and educational materials about my specific allergy problems. She gave recommendations about products to buy, and ways to address my issues AFFORDABLY. Then, Dr. Chou provided excellent treatment. I got allergy-​tested in the office. That process was smooth and really informative.
Dr. Chou’s demeanor was really pleasant throughout our visit. I didn’t feel like a burden, or like an idiot — which is sometimes how I feel with doctors when they rush in, tell me things, and rush out. This visit did not have that feel at all. I left this visit feeling fully informed and well-​cared for.
They also have a nifty online system so I can communicate with Dr. Chou easily and efficiently. I just saw her yesterday, and already have exchanged brief messages with her about follow-​up care. She was responsive, clear, and helpful.
I have been to many allergists, in both Illinois and Michigan. This is by far the best allergist doctor visit I’ve ever had. MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
