Yes, this is a 2 star report. I went out to breakfast with my two kids. My daughter ordered a turkey Benny breakfast with avocado and the avocado was brown. I ordered the same thing and the bread that came with this meal taste quite different. I will not be ordering this option again. My son ordered chicken fingers and fries and there was more chicken fingers and fries in his meal. Can we say golden nugget?

ate there often and usually ordered the crepes. Mother age 94 loved the crepes. last time we had crepes the ordered contained one gummy and thick crepes under the others that were good. seems to me a deliberate cover up considering two of us got the same thick crêpe under others that were good. mentioned this to the cashier who’s response was to have the waitress replace the order. really after we ate three quarters of the meal? and on our way out. a so sorry would have been better.

Our server was sweet, polite, and attentive. Can’t quite put my finger on it, but the place just seems a little run down– maybe it’s the lighting. Food is what you would expect from any IHOP. Minus two stars because: the bathrooms are always gross; as I was trying to have a conversation with my dad, I could overhear the loud employees complaining about work and personal issues; upon leaving, my clothes and jacket smells as if I was the one behind the grill cooking; and overall there’s just nothing amazing to write about. Like I said though, it’s IHOP– my expectations aren’t too high, although in this recession, spending hard earned dollars, expectations should probably be high! ;) But seriously, I’ve been coming to this location for a number of years every other blue moon usually only because it’s what’s convenient at the time. Nothing amazing, but nothing too bad. I don’t ever wake up on a cute, sunny Saturday morning and think of having breakfast here though.

Have been here a few times. Keeps getting worse. IHOP on Forest Preserve Drive by the H.I.P. much better. Service was fine here. Food was sub par. Got me when I asked for one more salsa cup(2oz cup) which they only give u one for Chicken Fajita omelet to begin with(prob 4x that on omelet on Forest Preserve for free). 99 cents for 2 more ounces of salsa. No thanks.

I went to this IHOP just to have some coffee with my friend late at night last week and the service was fine. It is helpful that they have bilingual staff. The other times I’ve been here, the food has been ok and the prices have been reasonable.

This is probably the worst service I’ve ever gotten anywhere. My son and I went for a late breakfast today and the wait time wasn’t too bad. As soon as we sat down the waitress came over and began to rush us. We placed our order and the food was out very quickly. Good? Nope. Bad! The food was cold. The hash browns tasted like they’d been sitting out for a while. And since they seemed to be having a busy morning, maybe they pre-cook and then just serve? My coffee was cold too. There was no sugar. Our waitress never showed up to ask if we were okay or if we needed anything. And boy did we need everything! Food is mediocre. Service was bad. And the restaurant looks DIRTY. I will not be coming here again. I hope everyone saves their money!

IHOP in my understanding is a mediocre business with mediocre service and food and that’s okay. What’s not okay is that you have to pay $$ for. lets just say a breakfast you could’ve easily made at home for half the price. More irritating is that you can’t make your breakfast a little more interesting by adding roasted tomatoes, or cucumbers on the side. Very very limited options. I rated this place two stars because of my experience today. — Hi, I made my order on the phone — What your order? — Four eggs — What your order? — I said four eggs — Four eggs and that’s it?(He didn’t even try to look up orders before that dumb repeating question, when he did it pulled up right away) — Four eggs, hash browns, blah blah blah He leaves for a couple of minutes and comes back with my order. As you can see, not a hi, not a thank you, nothing, pure business and I would be okay with that if I had to pay %20 less. All that being said, I have to disclose that it was a hard test, what can be more challenging than taking orders on a busy Thanksgiving morning. I didn’t expect this IHOP to be that busy.

The reason for three is because of the effort I see that they put into customer service. The food just isn’t up to IHOP standards in my opinion. It’s not as fresh. The staff however is nice.

Service is very polite and courteous. However, I in the last three visits I asked for citrus chicken salad, which I love from there, but they did not have the dressing that goes with the salad. Restrooms need a lot of attention and rugs need to be changed. Management should take care of this if they want to improved their business.

My group of 5 friends arrived here to get some pancakes as a brunch type of thing. There weren’t too many tables, and we were seated quickly. However, our waitress took forever, and she was quiet and hard to understand. She took our orders and it felt like an eternity as we waited for our pancakes. We did not get to eat for a whole 35 minutes as we waited. We grew more and more agitated because there were not that many people inside, although it was noon. Our waitress forgot an extra water and two sets of silverware, and it took her awhile to get back to us. When we paid, we realized that our waitress was also at the cash register, so I think they are understaffed. I ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes, and my friends ordered the French Toast, the Chocolate Chocolate Pancakes, and the Strawberry Banana Pancakes. My friend and I switched off two pancakes from our stacks and I tasted the Chocolate Chocolate pancake. The batter tasted off, not chocolately. My other friends would barely finish their stack because the chocolate was TOO overwhelming after two pancakes. My order was perfect for me. As for the friend who ordered the strawberry banana pancakes, they didn’t give her the bananas until she was almost practically done, which makes no sense since they just have to chop them in. The strawberries were fake tasting and extremely syrupy. The French toast, my friend said, was alright. The food is not cheap at all either, ranging from easily $ 6 – 9 on pancakes. I usually never ever eat breakfast out, or brunch, since to me it is not worth spending money on breakfast unless I am on vacation. It was alright, I would stick with the pancakes, there really isn’t a way to mess them up, which is why I avoided the eggs and other such items.

It’s an IHOP. It does a good job doing that. Service was friendly and the food was decent and it was comfortable. Pleasantly surprised based on other reviews.

I went to this iHop location with two friends. Both ordered the bacon burger while I ordered the Split decision. When the food came, I noticed how small the portions were especially with the burgers! There were barely enough fries. My split decision was just okay because of the fact that the sausage and bacon did not look fresh at all. This location is also super dirty! There were flys and dead ones too by the windows. They should clean this up! The syrups handles were super sticky. They should look into cleaning that too. There was also a bad smell which made this experience less pleasant. The waitress was alright but she brought the check without even asking if we wanted something else. Overall not satisfied and never coming back here again. There are far better locations that actually try to make the place look decently clean and give bigger portions.

What can you say about a chain and a diner chain at that. Known for its breakfast they continue to vamp up their breakfast offerings to keep things new and fresh. There is nothing earth shattering or mind blowing that I can recommend. I just happen to like the one that is in my neighborhood. I know that it’s close and that they are 24 hrs(should the need arise to visit at odd hours). They can get busy on the weekends, but they are pretty quick and efficient so they turn tables around fairly quickly. The staff is also pretty friendly which helps. So if you ever need a chain place in a pinch. This location should do the trick.

I came in with my sister for a late lunch and the place wasn’t too crowded so I figured we’d be in and out fairly quickly. We were in and out but not for the reason I thought… Our waitress was pleasant so that’s always a plus… wish I could say the same for the food. I ordered the breakfast sampler and requested no butter on pancakes or anything if possible. Well good came out quickly but there was a scoop of butter on the pancakes… she took it back in and brought it back out and said she thinks he only switched the top… well, they scraped the butter off and just switched places with the bottom cake so I wouldn’t know… what if I had crazy allergies? Then to top it off, my $ 9 platter tasted awful… the eggs were cold as well as all the meats… I had a couple bites of the(probably made hours ago) bacon and sausage and the eggs. I ate most of the hash browns since I was able to drown it in ketchup. Overall a very disappointing meal. I won’t be back to this location… they made me waste food and I HATE wasting food!
