Ordered online with enough time for them to make it and deliver before my lunch time, and the wait time kept getting longer and longer, wasn’t even able to eat on my lunch, poor customer service will not be doing delivery from this location agian

I’ve been to Hooters in many states across the country. While I live 4 a blocks away, this is the worst one I have ever been to. Today I ordered 10 wings. After waiting 25 minutes I left. I was one of about 8 people in the place at 12:30 pm. Just plain lazy was the way I saw it. It’s a shame I cannot go to a place so close to home. I cannot recommend.

First time going to hooters and hated it. The wings were horrible. I asked for medium level and was told medium just means butter. Is that normal? The wings were either over breaded or over buttered. Will never go back. The service was also really slow and there were only a handful of people in the restaurant at that time.

I order online for pickup at least once a week with coworkers. The food is always fresh if you order it around 11 AM which is when they open I believe. I usually get the boneless wings with curly fries… yummy. The server girls and the Manager are really friendly. The prices are very reasonable.

OK so I order buffalo shimp and a fruit smoothie I asked if it was made with real fruit she lied and said yeah. Then the shimp I got had a thin breading and a thin buffalo sauce, nothing special just a very water like hot sauce. Not likely to come back.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat here. The customer service here is HORRIBLE! Every single time I place an order for pick up, they end up forgetting something. The packaging of the food is always filthy. If I order carry out, the containers should not have sauce all over it.
Last night I ordered 20 wings and ONLY got 15. I stood there looking at my order for 20 minutes before someone decided to help me and take my money. No reason why it should have taken that long.
When I got home and realized there were ONLY 15 wings so I called to inform them. A girl named Diamond answered the phone and put me on hold before I can get anything out, other than ‘can I speak to a manager.’ I was on hold for ten mins before I decided to hang up and call back. I called back and asked to speak to a manager and the same girl picked up, put me on hold again. (For another 10 mins) At this point I’m PISSED! I hung up and called again, I asked her a specific question regarding why she continued placing me on hold and not coming back to the phone and she didn’t even answer me. She again put me on hold. 3 mins later, a so called manager named «ED» got on the phone and i can tell by his tone that this wasn’t a serious matter for him.
Anytime you have a customer PAY for ANYTHING and what’s paid for is NOT received, is a PROBLEM! I felt like he took me as a joke and could care less. I asked him why I only got 15 wings instead of 20, especially when HOOTERS does NOT have a 15 wing option. He said, he didn’t know why that happened. He never apologized nor tried to do anything about it.
Instead, he was a smart ass and said next time I come in, have a manager to check my food before I leave. WTF do I look like, a little ass kid?!
Let me tell you something, that was NOT the right thing to say to a customer who has been eating at this location for years and I do NOT appreciate it.
I will be reporting this location and if you eat there, watch out for this manager named ED and worker named DIAMOND. They are RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL! IF YOU DON’T LIKE YOUR JOB, THEN FIND ANOTHER ONE.

What do you expect? It’s Hooters. If you’ve never been to Hooters before…
The cheeseburgers are usually good. The wings, their specialty, if you can call them that, are also pretty good, especially the breading. They do come with a side order of grease though, usually puddled up at the bottom of your plate.
We also got the fish tacos for the first time on this visit. Meh, won’t again. They left much to be desired. Quite frankly, it’s bachelor food, and of the same quality. Eek!
On other occasions, I’ve had the nachos and they are fairly gross. They get soggy fast – muck on a plate. The oysters are well, at best, just okay. I feel lucky I’ve never gotten sick (–that’s a joke). The chili beans are actually fairly good. And the beer is cold.
On this visit, our server was nice, but she brought our drinks out at different times, as well as our tacos from the other food. We ordered everything at the same time…
Our wings and my burger arrived waaay after – nearly 45-​minutes later! Why? The wings should have come out first too! We were angry and ready to complain, when they magically arrived.
The sloppy service is the main reason for the poor rating. In terms of food, knowing what it is, don’t go in with big expectations. ’tis Hooters.

Lastly, on this visit, and this has no weight for my rating, it was a Sunday around 5 p.m. I had no idea Hooters turns into a child friendly restaurant! There were literally 7 or 8 different families all with kids and babies under the age of three! Car chairs and all. So, there was a lot of crying, laughing, and screaming, as well as a table of teens; kids were everywhere. If that’s your thing, then Sunday is apparently the best day to bring in your young family to this location. It felt like I was at a Hootered-​up Chuckie-Cheese’s!
Every other time I’ve been here, it was your typical Loop mix of sports fans (tons of TVs), construction workers, and business folks.
I’ll probably be back… lol

Service Was Beyond Awful! There was a hair on The order or Lots Of Tots, Order was replaced but when I received the bill, two orders were charged! Spoke the manager to Steven, and per manager he inspected the tots himself (not sure how this is an apology) I assume the hair fell out of the sky! Will defiantly not go back again! It seems that since they closed for remodeling or re-​staffing, service is better at any fast food joint than this facility!

Super friendly and nice girls here. I ordered to go from this location and was greeted so nicely and directed to the to go counter. My food was delicious but ideally could have been warmer. I ordered 2 of the 10 boneless and fries Wednesday specials but now looking back I don’t think they gave me the special 7.99 price as my order cost $ 20. Should have been a couple dollars less. The different between here and Buffalo Wild Wings is there is actually meat on Hooters wings and not just crunchy breading. Will order again for sure as its not too far off my regular commute home and there’s a loading zone spot on Wells just north of Erie.

Went in last night, called a phone order in and they said 15 mins. I show up 20 – 25 mins later, food isn’t ready, and then I wait an ADDITIONAL 25 minutes. I patiently wait but as time goes by I’m getting a little peeved. I order the boneless wings and fries, get home and my «boneless» wings are bone-​in. Seriously wtf? They even wrote boneless on the box but they’re bone-​in inside the box. Double wtf. (See picture below). I call to address the issue and speak with the manager (actually didn’t even catch his name) but I could tell by his tone he didn’t want to really talk to me or help me with my issue, told me there’s no way they could be bone in and I ask him if he thinks I’m lying and would call and make this up. Negative on customer service. I order frequently and do enjoy the food but this may be the last time for me. Lately it seems like the girls just sit or stand and talk amongst each other and could seriously be doing other things. If you’re getting tons of pick up orders, you need to staff your to go counter accordingly. 2 girls is hardly enough. I the end the manager refunded my money (we’ll see I haven’t seen it removed on my statement yet) but I still feel that wasn’t enough as I’ve become a loyal customer.

I hate having to justify why I go to Hooters. When I say, «I go for the wings,» I do, in fact, go for the wings.
And while I am glad to say that food is good and plentiful at this location, the service, as others have pointed to, SUCKS.
I sat at the bar and watched as my order went in, and in spite of this, the line cooks just stood there goofing off and flirting with the waitresses before finally deciding to actually cook. Because this is my lunch hour, I couldn’t exactly wait forever, so I had to ask Krystal (who was the only one who was actually working) to box up my wings whenever they came out.
It was about 40 minutes between my order getting in to actually receiving them. Think this was the last time I go here.

Here for a business trip and figured I’d stop in for some wings and beer. Easy right? Nope! Horrible service. Took 10 mins for waitress to come over, ordered beer and wings. Got food before my beer. I originally ordered A ranch but got blue cheese. And then again took forever for us to our checks. Keep in mind this was a slow Tuesday night.
Food was good.
Places was clean
Beer cold
But service was horrible.

I recently visited the newly upgraded Hooters on Wells. I have loved this place for their wings, shrimp, oyster roast… you get it! I tried a few new items and I fell in love with them too!

THIS PLACE IS BEYOND SICK… no clue when this happened to Hooters.
The service used to normal and food was good. That was my reason to come back.
I mean this ruined my Sunday. The service sucked and the food got me and my friend so sick.
Took 46 min to get fries, 6 boneless wings, a salad and fried pickles (allllll were cold)
But how? Why?
Im over it now… but save yourself from being sick and don’t go… even tho it may sound like the best idea ever!

I have been visiting Hooters (Orland Park location) since I was a kid and fell in love since. Craving some Hooters wings, a buddy and I stopped in this location last night since it is the closest Hooters to us in the city of Chicago. I haven’t been to this location in years and was pleasantly surprised to see that they now have a decent selection of craft beers. Good beer with good wings, doesn’t get much better than that.
Of course, we get 20 Hot Wings and an order of curly fries with jalapeño cheese (been ordering this for 20 years). I can normally take down at least a dozen Hooters wings, but I couldn’t get through 7 this time around. Why? The wings have definitely gotten much bigger! And the classic Hooters Hot Wing Sauce is still just as good as I remember.
Our server was very nice with a great smile and checked on us frequently. I need to start coming in for their lunch specials since I work nearby in the Loop.

Love it! Women could be better looking but overall the food is good and greasy and the beer is ice cold.

I have come to this location a lot and unfortunately the service has been becoming very terrible! It took the waitress over 20 minutes until she was able to take our order. It wasn’t necessarily her’s fault but it looks like they were very understaffed and a lot of tables still had food on them from the previous customers. After I place my order I got my food approximately 20 minutes later. On the flipside the food was fresh and very delicious! I might have to start going to the Hooters in Orland Park Illinois or countryside this location here downtown is not meeting my standards anymore when it comes to service!

Before their service was great, the food was great, then I don’t know what happened, but the last few times we’ve gone, the food is always cold, salty, or the wrong food. Not to mention the girls don’t check on our table, the wait for the food has taken up to an hour sometimes.
I don’t think I’ll be coming here anytime soon. It’s been disappointment after disappointment, like it gets worse every time we go.
Don’t think I’ll be back.

I come in and sat at the bar. Before I went to the restroom I ask for a short beer. I return to a large beer. I dont drink fast so I prefer short beers. The bartender doesn’t apologize once I point out I wanted a small beer because im a slow drinker and a small beer is cooler. Instead she says its cheaper. Well id rather have an expensive cold beer than a warm cheap one. It was down hill from there. The only saving grace after 20 mins waiting to order food was the hawks game came on. Horrible day at this place.

The service was fast and food was so yummy. The waitress was nice. And it was cool being downtown. Good food and good service. I recommend this spot

So we only went to Hooters because our friend from Venezuela had never been to such a place. Granted, I’ve only been to Hooters a couple of times and tonight reminded me why.
The best part of the evening was that I was instantly younger walking into Hooters. It’s like walking right back into the 90’s! That’s not entirely a good thing by the way. I went to the lavatory to wash my hands and I really wish I hadn’t. Dirty, grimy, and the automatic paper towel dispensers were not working. It was like dangling candy in front of a kid’s face. You could see both dispensers were stocked but nothing would come out. The sign above the entrance to the loo was perfect. Beware!
We explained to our server that it was our friend’s first time to the restaurant and even she called it correctly: «it’s nothing special». Love her for the honesty because she was absolutely right. She was a good server and didn’t have any issues. I ordered a vodka tonic but had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for a clean glass. My friends already got their food and started eating before I got my drink. Lame. The part that blows above all else, the drink was so super weak it was just tonic. I’m not sure how well this location is doing but someone should have turned the air on because it was pretty warm in there… with just a few ceiling fans in our area it didn’t do much for air circulation and cooling.
I can most assuredly say I won’t be back and if I encounter someone else who has never been to a Hooters I’ll tell them too bad, and make them go with someone else.
