I ordered a small sized ham for the holidays & I forgot to write about it. anyway, the ham was delicious & lasted longer than I thought. I my daddy would get this ham when I was a kid & I have loved this ham since then. I love the sugar around the outside of the ham. very sweet and lean ham. just pricey for it but since its only once a year I don’t mind splurgin.

I can’t get enough of this delicious spiral ham, we usually buy a medium size fully cooked & cut ham and it lasts for a week in the fridge. They also offer carry-out and a small dining area at this location too, good sandwiches and sides, great service too. Support all your local businesses

I go way back with this Company… To the days when we used to call this number, order our Hams etc. and then pick them up at a store close by to where we were living at the time… Pride was their best quality along with their products… I will always look for the Log Logo… It tells me I am at the right place… See you in a few weeks… and Thank You…

While they’re are peculiarities about the location and staff and true it is not the«Chain store» Honeybaked Ham, I can say it is thee best ham I ever ate. So it is worth the effort because my family and friends love this ham more than the chain store Honeybaked. We have been getting our holiday hams there for many years. Yes bad neighborhood, yes not the friendliest staff, but man what great ham!!! I gave 5 stars based on the ham not the neighborhood or staff. If I had to equate them in it would be 3 ½ but it’s about the ham quality and flavor for me.

Warning warning This is not the ‘real” Honeybaked Ham. it is not affiliated with the chain. This store spells it with 2 words«Honey Baked’ as opposed to one«Honeybaked». Surprise! that is why this store is not listed on the Honeybaked web site.

While I don’t disagree with Nora’s review of the atmosphere or Honey Baked Ham Co., after a little chit chat I found the people behind the counter very helpful. The options aren’t vast, but it’s called Honey Baked Ham. I’m expecting just a few items. The past 3 years I’ve gotten a variety of either their smoked or marinated turkey. SPECTACULAR. Goes frozen into the oven and per the baking instructions yielded the sweetest and most flavorful turkey breast I’ve ever had. Their gravy is also on point. It’s no less friendly than Dominick’s and for a special occasion centerpiece that all your guests will love, I highly recommend this place. The freezer was chock full of options and they had plenty in back. Can’t wait to try the Honey Baked Roast Beef!

Has anyone else done business at this store? I went there this morning and found the place creepy. The neighborhood isn’t terrific. The store was open only 9 – 2 today. Inside, the shelves were almost entirely empty and had just, like, a few jars of mustard. In the freezer case there were about six items, I think smoked turkey breasts. In what I assume were refrigerated cases behind the counter I saw perhaps four or five foil-wrapped hams, no more. This was obviously the opposite of a bustling business. The couple in charge seemed unfriendly. I have never been in a store so odd and they sure don’t seem to do much business. I bought a ham for guests coming tomorrow and now am wondering if it will be OK or is it leftover from last Christmas, or that perhaps went weeks unrefrigerated. Honey Baked Ham is a big deal nationally. Why in the world is Chicago so poorly favored? We love Honey-Baked Ham as a treat and I also like to give them as gifts but I don’t feel comfortable with that store, which is the only one on the North Side.
