They can be a blessing IF you get through to a doctor. I care for a housebound person and we rely on their services. The problem is they are hard to contact, they don’t return phone calls and it seems like they actively try to avoid calls. If you can get to a doctor’s office please do that as most of these doctors do not have privileges at hospitals. If you use their services, keep a close on your care. They have a few really good doctors and some rude awful doctors. The phone staff has gotten better over the years but they have a long way to go.

My grandmother had a home visit from these people. First the doctor came in and checked her out, the doctor actually from this location was awesome. Then they ordered some blood tests and a phlebotomist came by a couple days later. The phlebotomist was THEWORST. Cranky, dirty and downright rude. From a medical lab from what I recall. I think they were sub-contractors because the phlebotomist was NOT from Home Physicians. She sunk this review, otherwise I would have given 4 stars.

This is exactly what the name says. Its doctors that make house calls but the practice is limited to homebound elderly. If you are a care giver for a parent as I am, their services can be a blessing. They do not do emergency calls and it takes a day or two to make an appointment. They can also order other tests in the home such as ultrasounds, xrays and blood tests.
