This is a great spot in the Aon building! I’ve tried their baked potatoes, and recently tried the California turkey wrap, and everything is delicious. As other Unilocalers have mentioned, the ingredients are extremely fresh — the vegetables are crisp, and everything has a clean taste. Another perk — the staff is friendly and the service is fast, even during lunch rush. I will be adding Green Apple to my regular lunch rotation.

Great fresh-squeezed juices! Loved the California wrap i got today as well. Will definitely go again. Don’t plan on sitting to eat as it’s an in & out place, but it’s a wonderful lunch spot to grab a quick/healthy bite. Got a 16 oz juice, California wrap and a coke for $ 11.

Best quick lunch spot in the Aon center. Wraps are made to order with fresh vegetables and come with a bottle of water. The service is quick and reliable. Arguably the best giardineira east of Michigan avenue.

While I was working in the Aon building, we would make regular lunch runs here. Their baked potato is insane, if your craving something warm and tasty. look no further. I loved their California turkey, avocado, bacon and overall awesome taste. Remember to ask for your free bottle of water with sandwich or meal!

Went on a juice fast after watching the movie«Fast, Sick and Nearly Dead». This place was my life saver. They have great FRESH juices and you cannot beat the price. I practically cannot do it at home for less. Watch the movie, it will change your life. Green Apple Café is one of the only places I know anywhere around the east loop area that does these fresh juices.

Love their mango/peach/pineapple yogurt smoothie. I’ve had the turkey and veggie sandwhich. Very good for a decent price. Much better than Au Bön Pain.

I have to caveat this with the fact that this review is based on one very brief experience, and since I don’t live there, I’m unlikely to give it another shot. I had intended to order a smoothie, but as I approached the register and scanned the little menu board, I wondered whether something a little lighter would be nice to complement my sandwich from next door. The iced smoothie caught my eye, so I asked the guy behind the counter about it, whether it was as good as a smoothie or just more watery. He looked at me skeptically, and maybe a little defensively, and asserted that he would MAKE it good. I said okay and picked two flavors, a little flustered by his response and the line building behind me. I looked away but am pretty sure that at this point he dumped in at least a full cup of sugar. At least. This concoction of strawberries, blueberries and sugar wound up so sweet that I could only drink about three sips … and then handed it to my husband, who used it to sweeten his tea instead of sugar. If I lived around, I’d give it one more go — but only with a smoothie. None of this ice business!

This is a great little Café, they have baked potatoes, Paninis, and smoothies. I usually go there for a broccoli cheese potato, not the healthiest of their options, but it makes a great alternative to the typical chains in the loop office buildings. You also get a bottle of water with every sandwich or potato: o)

I’ve walked by this place a million times, usually passing it by on my way to Au Bön Pain next door after the gym. After perusing a disappointing soup selection at ABP and no other clear ideas of what I wanted for lunch, I popped in to Green Apple Café to see what they had to offer. Since then, I’ve come to love the vegetarian wrap with cheese, minus the cheese, plus some hummus. It’s cheap, it’s tasty, it’s fresh. No complaints, here. Add chips and a drink for a $ 1.00 and they also have fresh fruit. The cashier scared me the first few times I went in, but I remained persistent with my politeness and I think she’s started to thaw a little. I swear she smiled yesterday. In summer, I plan to try the fresh squeezed juice drinks!

You don’t get better, healthier food than this. Really. The potatoes are great, the vegetables are super-fresh. One minor complaint — sometimes my fresh-pressed orange-grapefruit juice tastes like the ginger in the last person’s drink. I like ginger, but not sure if everyone does.

1 — fresh juice; 2 — baked potato plus sour cream, butter, cheddar cheese & chicken salad. Holy god is that good.

Great little place actually, really no complaints.. . Other than they ring up the wrong price for the food everytime I go in there. Coincidentally it is always higher. Granted it is only 50 cents here and 80 cents there, but if they are doing this to everyone they are making a boat load more money than they advertise their prices at. So keep an eye on the woman at the cash register. I know I am being stingy but it happens everytime. I can’t help feeling I am slowly being robbed. Otherwise a great place, Ha!

Surrounded by chain restaurants, this place holds its own, despite no longer being able to make sandwiches(wraps-only these days). If you’re looking for a sandwich, however(the California Club is delicious), just hop over to the outpost across the street on the first floor of the Smurfit Stone building.
