This place was somewhat silly to me. It had the music and an atmosphere of a big club and the square footage of a Starbucks(maybe an exaggeration on my part). You get the point. They had some cool seating areas, but I don’t think I’d go back because I would be wondering if I was at a famous persons club in Miami or a hotel bar. Why not just go to a real club with space and a dance floor.

For a hotel bar, located downtown in the Hard Rock Hotel, I gotta say: I expected more. «More what?» I dunno. Space. Oomph. Scene. Pizazz. J-Wow. Something. There’s nothing about this place that makes me want to rush to come back. It’s just not very memorable. The bar itself is bisected by a giant column. I guess that makes it best for smaller groups? If you have a larger group, standing around, socializing and drinking could be a wee bit tricky. The space isn’t very big. I get that downtown real estate is at a premium but I would imagine that the layout could have been better designed. Again, it’s the Hard Rock Hotel. The name alone brings forth imagery of debauchery, big crowds and wild times. I didn’t get a sense of any of this. I would advise to stick with beer and highballs. Whereas the draft selection isn’t ground-breaking, it’s perfectly adequate. It’s pretty difficult to mess up a highball, so you’re fine there as well. The cocktails… eh. I wasn’t impressed with the choices or execution. At the core, a perfectly pleasant, if not very exciting experience… but that’s not very rock ‘n roll, is it?

First of all, Dana ROCKS! She was our server tonight and was so down to earth, friendly and accommodating. It wasn’t really too crowded so we were all able to pull up chairs to a little table and hang out. Really swanky, modern environment and relaxed vibe. I was really impressed with the drinks and the food. Everyone had a really good time and they had a live DJ too. It was a really nice place –it was probably one of the better hotel bars I’ve been to. More of a club vibe than a regular olé hotel bar. I enjoyed my experience there!
