Huge fan of Freshii. Grab a shake often here after a good workout or a healthy lunch. I’m a fan of their wraps that you can completely customize with a ton of healthy ingredients! PB power smoothy with whey, could have one daily! Life support juice is awesome way to get some good veggies/fruit too! Only thing they really don’t support quite yet is not sure they utilize organic veggies/fruit as don’t market that, non-GMO, and the whole rest of the current food craze ;-) Maybe a suggestion for improvement there.

I used to get Freshii often when I worked in the loop. The service at this location has kept me from going unless I’m feeling particularly patient. Every time I order strawberries with my oatmeal, they cut 1 strawberry and put it in the cup… maybe if they were prepared for a 9am order this wouldn’t be the case. For $ 5 I expect a bit more than 1 strawberry. It’s very underwhelming. Lastly, the service is just plain slow.

This place was so good when it started. I don’t know what happened… So many different managements has gone through this place already. The food has gotten smaller, the price has increased! Plus, I miss some of the original options from the menu… they keep changing it up :/ I knew the service was slow here… but forgetting my order is ridiculous! No compensation or anything. Not worth going here anymore.

This is my first visit to this Freshii and I was impressed with the pricing and the value of the doller spend. I felt, I got the real worth of my money. Food was delicious and feels like it energize you as they say. My server or the cashier was super fast, seems like they are having a good team of workers with customer service oriented. I will definitely visit again the Freshii at Water Tower Place.

I am a fairly new Freshii customer, and have been exploring the menu trying various wraps, bowls, salads, and breakfast items. The proportions are great and the prices are fair for a healthy, freshly prepared meal. However, they never fail to mess up any sort of special request I make. Today I ordered the falafel bowl with no beet slaw and the sriracha on the side. When my order came up I looked at it to make sure everything was correct, and there was a little container of sriracha on the side, and no sign of beets, as requested. You can imagine my shock when I returned to my office and began to eat my food, and there was a whole mound of beet slaw hidden beneath all the other ingredients! Seriously?! How hard is it go get someone’s order right? Answer: not very. Even McDonald’s has mastered it. It’s like they were purposely hiding the beets from me. The system for ordering is also pretty disorganized. Sometimes you write what you want on the form, sometimes you just order through the person at the register, there are people milling about and you can’t tell who’s ordered and who hasn’t. And the menu posted on the wall is the only place you can read the descriptions of things, but a lot of times it’s obstructed by employees or there are too many customers milling about to get a good enough angle to read it. For this reason I usually look at their website and decide what I want ahead of time. I will probably continue to frequent this place, because it’s super convenient and a good healthy option. But there are definitely some issues that have them stuck at «meh» rather than«omgsogood.»

While shopping on the Magnificent Mile, which is oh-so-magnificent, I stopped by Freshii for a wrap. Freshii is an international chain of fast casual cafes serving salads, salads, burritos, wraps, rice bowls, breakfast and soups. I got really excited when I saw that there was a wrap called«Vegan Wrap.» So as I was about to order it, I noticed it comes in a honey wheat tortilla. So, I asked the woman behind the counter about that and she admitted that was true and that it wasn’t really vegan. Apparently there are vegan tortillas available in some locations, but not this one. Okay, well then you should call it the Vegetable Wrap with a note that a vegan option is available only in some locations. That is very misleading. Then, I noticed a poster advertising the«Green Wrap.» This was a wrap using collard green leaves. It looked great, but again the poster was misleading. At the top of it it stated«vegan, gluten-free, low-carb wrap option that supports digestion, immunity, and detoxification. «Underneath are the Thai Green Wrap and the Buffalo Green Wrap. So, I asked if the buffalo chicken was vegan chicken and they said it wasn’t. So the heading on the poster was only referring to one of the two burritos. Um, you need to get a new marketing company. So, I finally ordered the vegan green wrap. Unfortunately, they didn’t wrap it very well so it immediately fell apart while the girl next to me ate a perfectly wrapped one that stayed together. Oh, well. That said, I enjoyed the wrap. It was filled with rice noodles, greens, tofu, carrots, cilantro, bean sprouts, and cucumbers and came with a peanut sauce. It was pretty tasty. I also ordered a Made blackberry lemonade — made in Illinois. So good. So for $ 12, it was an okay meal. I’d order it again. But, I hope they fix their signage soon so vegans don’t accidentally eat the non-vegan wrap labeled«vegan.» That’s pretty inexcusable.

Super cheap for nutritious, healthy food on the go. Imagine only $ 2 to add tofu to anything. I had the Kale Effect Bowl. A little too much rice and not enough kale but had a surprisingly spicy in a good way. Interesting snacks and drinks… picked up a Jimmy bar that made a good breakfast.

When they make a salad correctly(i.e. including the ingredients you ask and pay for) this place is great. However, 90% of the time they get it wrong. Great for people who like surprises and very frustrating for people that just want what they pay for. To Freshii’s credit, I did speak to the District Manager who happened to be at the store shortly after I received my latest botched order and he was very understanding and receptive to feedback. I have a renewed sense of confidence that there will be improvements at this location. For that, I upgraded my review from 1* to 2*s.

Freshii employees: when someone orders a coffee please fill the cup all the way to the top. Unless I specify to leave room for cream, please fill the cup to the top. I have this issue here more often than not. Keep up the good work with the yummy food.

I hate freshii. I knew I hated freshii but for some reason decided to just give it ONELAST chance. They blew it. I got the spicy lemongrass soup, apparently it’s one of their best sellers. Apparently the only people who eat at Freshii are people with no taste buds. Not spicy, not chickeny, not even salted. I put sriracha in it and it’s still barely edible. And… it was an $ 8 soup. Ugh. NEVERAGAIN.

Minus one star: Make sure to check before leaving that you actually get all of the ingredients you ask for when ordering a custom bowl. Unfortunately I did NOT do that today and didn’t get the kale I paid extra for and am missing 2 other toppings. Bummed but not enough to go out in the elements and complain about it. However, the portion size was larger than last time which is good, but inconsistent.

The Vegan Warp? It’s supposed to include: «SPINACH, AVOCADO, CARROTS, BROCCOLI, CUCUMBERS, SWEETCORN, CHICKPEAS, SUNDRIEDTOMATOES, EVOO&AGEDBALSAMICVINEGAR» I am currently sitting at my desk with a pile of dyed spinach in a tortilla. There is a single slice of avocado, maybe 10 shreds of carrot, a decent amount of raw broccoli, one cucumber slice, 5 kernels of corn, 3 chickpeas, and 0 sun-dried tomatoes. Walk 5 blocks to the Trader Joe’s on Ohio and make your own. $ 7-something for this? Nah.

Whoa! That was confusing! The staff was confused, I was confused, my lunch date was confused… My friend and i checked this place out because we were looking for a really healthy option and mourning the loss of Ponte Fresco. I ordered the southwestern chicken soup because it came with«two unlimited toppings»(what that means I can’t be sure but it was incentive enough). I was never asked if I wanted toppings and after some fluttering around and avoidance of eye-contact I finally caught one of the staff. She looked, well, confused. But I got the toppings in the end… I think. My friend had a similar experience, really awkward, really confusing, but a great healthy option with good food. I’ll take a Xanax and try it again someday.

Ok I come back here because it’s supposed to be «healthy», it’s supposed to be «fast», but more importantly, it’s really really close to me. With that said, this place is kind of inconsistent. Sometimes it’s really fast and they get your orders right, sometime it took forever, and they forgot to put stuff in. One thing that’s consistently good is their breakfast wrap – it’s part of my new routine on Saturday mornings now: wake up, walk the dog to Water Tower, get the bacon/egg wrap, eat in front of the dog, then go back home to sleep.

So this is the closest place to my house to get food, so when I moved here it’s all I ate for a week. First off: the ordering system is sooo silly. They make you grab a clip board and fill out what you want, which doesn’t sound so bad until you’re ordering for multiple people — because they then ask you to fill out seperate order forms for each item. What is wrong with just ordering from a cashier? As for the food, it’s not bad. It’s health food so you know you can’t expect much. I usually get a burrito, but they’re in desperate need of some kind of salsa to give it some flavor. Salads are pretty small, and the noodles are ok. Like I said, you don’t go here for the taste, you do it because you’re on a diet. Or you live a block from it.

You’d think it would be easy to get something called a wrap properly wrapped, but that’s just not how it goes. Freshii, however, nails it — everything stays tightly swaddled, fillings stay in, nothing’s falling apart. Couple fresh, fantastic taste with always wonderful service, and you’ve got an unbeatable(and healthy!) lunch. Don’t miss out on Freshii at Water Tower Place by merely walking to the food court floor — you’ve got to take that escalator down one more flight to ground level!

I found the ordering process here to be pretty disorganized, which is slightly ridiculous for a fast food joint. I ordered the signature burrito. It definitely didn’t taste fresh(ii). In fact, it was closer to disgusting, and I ended up throwing it out after 3 bites. Never again.

The coffee is pretty good. But. .. a non-self serve salad bar? Freshii FAIL.
