Foster Health and Rehabilitation Center

Does the state regulate this place? There is only one un nutritious menu no matter if patients have health issues or not. Baloney and potato chips for dinner? This place needs a surprise visit from the state if any one is listening!!!

I have never seen a nursing home that treats there residents so
friend has been there for a few months and has had nothing but disrespect not only from staff but from the administrator himself. He has tried to move to a better facility but seeing he only has medicaid insurance there are few nursing homes that have open beds for medicaid only patients.
I bought my friend a cellphone so he can call his family and friends but one of the cna“s hides his phone on him so he will not be able too talk too people. and when I call him she hangs up on me and tells me I can not talk too him even though I bought him this cellphone, I complained too the administrator so many times now he will not let me visit my friend.
the staff is so lazy they say there busy but there only 45 residents there and 3 or 4 cna“s to take care of them. he has too ask for a shower multiple times before getting one usually he will not get a shower for 1 to 2 weeks at a time.
This nursing home is the nursing home from «HELL» think twice before admitting a family member or
friends roommate has go to the bathroom in his diaper and they will not change the diaper for a couple of days and my friend has to smell that all day and night long.
My friend has not had a bowel movement for 4 or 5 days he keeps asking the nurses for something to help him, instead of giving him something the just let him suffer. Until he had to take control of it himself and go too the emergency room, they could not believe they treated him that bad.
The staff will not let me visit my friend or call him on the phone because they think I am causing trouble but I am trying too help him, because they sure are not helping him they are just violating his civil rights as a nursing home resident.
