This is a cute space with great potential. Currently, they have an exhibition on encased meats. The museum showcases the history behind the food so you really come to appreciate how different sausages, for example, were developed. Currently, they have a spice station on display with pictures of sausages from around the world(soon dae, merguez, sucuk, for example!) It’s a great place to take guests from out of town. PLUS it’s free! Come support this budding museum. It’s gonna be big one day!

This is museum is the quintessential food museum. No wonder it’s called foodseum. It has history, it’s has hands on exhibits, it has agriculture and lastly it brings the world of food to Chicago and showcases how certain foods, the industry has developed over time and it’s significance it plays in the world on a daily basis. Their current exhibit is on cased meats, can anyone say Chicago dog! It’s in a great location just steps away from millennium park, it’s not on the street level so it’s a little confusing to get to if your an out of towner. Although it’s in Block 37 so ask someone when you walk inside. #feedyourcuriosity
