Been here many times and watched as this make your own hot pot franchise has evolved and expanded. Still the basic fresh, quality vegetables, marinades, etc to choose from, but before you could load a separate bowel with your protein choices(beef, chicken, fish, calamari, pork, sausage. Etc, now you tell waiter your three choices and the proteins are added to your bowel of veggies and sauces when they are all grilled and chopped on the massive flat top grill. Still what comes out is a delicious steaming bowel of whatever form you have chosen– hot soup, lettuce rolls, stir fry, etc., which is quite filling and delicious. Only negative is that while their loyalty program has gotten more complicated, the rules are not clear and the waiters and managers don’t seem to understand what discounts are available or can be combined on a single check. Today it was particularly difficult to get our bill correct as we were using both our frequent diner perc of a free appetizer AND my partner’s birthday award of a free entrée with the purchase of another at regular price. All worked out in end, but it was a bit embarrassing to have the manager lecture us when he was the one who didn’t understand the rules! But a great place for inexpensive just about all you can eat, healthy as you want it to be, steaming Asian Mongolian fare.
