This is a great find in the south loop. The space is small and intimate, with bright green walls that give it a warm, cheerful feeling. It features the work of local artists and designers, and is a mix of fine art (painting, photography) and crafts, like jewelry, t-​shirts and cards. The quality of the work is high, prices are extremely reasonable, and the people who work here are friendly and helpful.

Elephant Room is a laid-​back and unpretentious art gallery that showcases local artists. There is no entry fee and the gallery is rather cozy. I have attended several opening receptions and have had the opportunity to speak with the actual artists and mingle with a diverse crowd.
As the other reviewers have stated, the pieces of work can be purchased.
If you are ever in the area it is a nice place to stop in and check out.

I agree this is a great shop and location. This is a new business and had a great opening featuring a local artist. She had a variety of her work on display for viewing and for purchase. Kimberly Atwood is the curator and is planning on a variety of events featuring local artists. This is worth stopping by. Parking is available next door for $ 6.

This is a great shop in the heart of the south loop. It features local young artists and displays their medium. Painting, sculptures, photos. The prices are very resonable for this cute little upstart. The gallery curator is Kimberly Atwood if you would like a private showing during the week. As they are usually only open on the weekends.
