El Gran Burrito

This place has great burritos. My favorite is the steak with everything on it. They are open late night so that makes it even better for my after party meals. The prices are reasonable too. For the price of one Chipotle burrito you can get 2 here and that taste better I might add.

Not the very best place for customer service but… I’m willing to look past that for cheesesteak fries!

I’ve eaten here years ago and stopped due to me getting sick from their food. After 10 yrs, I’ve decided to give it another try. Due to people screaming how good their food is. So, I decided to give it a try. I ordered an Italian beef for my daughter and steak tacos for myself.
Well, the tacos were salty, the fries GREASY! Like they just have the fries sitting in grease until someone orders it. My daughter did not like the beef AT ALL… when asked if it was better than Marco’s beef located at 6008 West Fullerton Avenue, Chicago, IL 60 639

She said no. I tasted the beef and it was disgusting. I WILL NOT and I repeat, will not eat here again…

I grew up eating here and I still CRAVE their gravy bread and cheese fries like crazy! LOVE IT! Great fix for any greasy spoon cravings. U will love it.

Good burritos and nachos! Cant complain about the food!

By far the best burrito I have ever had. Their cheese steak fries the greatest and I haven’t found a milk shake yet to top theirs.

Just make sure they’re passing their health inspections before eating there. There are rumors and stories I will not get into.

El Gran is The Shaun’s late night snack attack spot! The burrito are the bomb and are great value for the amount you get with it. The service is fast with convenient parking in the back. Tacos are only $ 2 and burritos are $ 5. This spot stays open until 5am over the weekends which makes it the perfect stop on the way home from going out.

i checked out this place with my classmate on the recommendation of a co-​worker who said they have the best tacos in chicago.
and they are AMAZING. delicious seared steak meat, seasoned shredded chicken and pork… topped with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and fresh hot sauce (tastes homemade). super-​fresh tortillas that stay together just until you stuff the last bite in your mouth! and only $ 2 each including tax!
BUT the best part about this place was the very friendly man behind the counter! maybe he felt bad for us as he watched us scrounge all our change together (they only take cash!) but he gave us a free sample of fries with cheese sauce & the freshest giardinera! i would go back just for the hot giardinera. big chunks of carrots, celery, broccoli, peppers. seasoned perfectly. this is serious.
he gave us a sample of their fresh fruit piña colada-​tasting smoothie, too, which was also deeeeelicious!
free parking. open til 3AM. friendly workers. BEST tacos & hot giardinera in town. DO IT.
note: the entire counter is encased in bullet-​proof fiberglass. might not be the safest place to go alone late at night…

I used to go here at least 3 times a week until i saw one of the workers handle food and then money and went back to help making the food… Should i say more??? Just nasty
