I recently started seeing this doctor because a friend told me she was very thorough. I liked her staff and the girl at the front desk is very nice. Her nurse was very happy and friendly and my kids really like her. I changed doctors because I needed a second opinion about my son. She was very good with the kids. She new my son was not developing well and got us started with the help that he really needed, something our other doctors did not do sooner. I didn’t want to hear it at first but she explained everything to me very well. She’s great and we are lucky she is in our neighborhood. My kids are finally in good hands and I trust her.

My children have been going to Dr. Egues for the past four years since we moved into this neighborhood. I find she is knowledgeable and personable and her practice is staffed by competent people too. They have sick hours so you can just walk in and we have been able to make appointments on short notice and get in within a few days. Dr. Egues is affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Children’s Hospital.

She is nice herself but the practice is not great. I need to get my daughters physicals done for school term and I cannot an appointment for a month! Plus I turn up for a 1400 appointment at 1400 and am not seen till at 1430 or later you have to wait in a small room with no windows with two kids for ½ an hour — not fun! My other friends have no problems getting appointments — they charge alot for your records to be sent on too
