Excellent pork tenderloin! Perfectly done and with a little kick. Also great music playlist. It was our first visit and we enjoyed it.

This is a cozy little place with nice ambience. I ordered the chicory caesar salad and my friend had the short rib pizza. The presentation of both dishes was beautiful as delicious but my friend was somewhat underwhelmed with the flavor of the pizza, he thought it lacked flavor. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. Overall, I will more than likely return and try the pasta that the person at the next table ordered, it looked amazing.

Yummy food and cute décor! My bestie took me here for dinner on one of my last nights in Chicago. I am so happy she did! This restaurant is a gem! It’s pretty small, but cozy. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and seated. The waitress was nice at first, but seemed nonchalant when we decided to stick with our waters. My friend ordered the mesclun crab salad and I got the bolognese. Our food came out after about 10 – 15 min. Everything was delicious! Pasta was cooked al dente and my friend said her salad was fresh, and loaded with crab meat. I would’ve come here every night for dinner just to try each dish on the menu! Next time I’m back I will definitely try the gnocchi. Just wish the service had been more pleasant to match the overall ambiance and delicious food.

We sat outside on the small patio on Saturday afternoon for lunch and had an enjoyable meal. We ordered a white wine flight to start for $ 16 — it was ok but we thought the pours were small and the wine average for the price. We then waited a bit longer than we would have liked to place our food order and quite a long time after that for the food to finally arrive — almost 30 minutes. The waiting was made worse by the fact that they did not offer bread like most other Italian places. The Americano panini was definitely tasty and reasonably priced at $ 8 although the side of giardiniera that came with it was not our thing. The short rib pizza was good although we wish there was more of the actual short rib and less of the other toppings. At $ 16 it also wasn’t a steal but I suppose that may be comparable to other places in the city. Overall, definitely worth checking out — the interior looked nice and the patio is a nice option on a warm sunny day — I guess I just left feeling like my experience was not anything to write home about.

Bone Marrow Ice Cream??? Really??? Hell, yes, it was great!!! Tonight I ventured out of my comfort zone on a dessert specialty of the month… which, I have to give a GOLDSTAR to. Bone Marrow Ice Cream… I know… WTH!!! As unusual as the dessert may sound, it holds its own in uniqueness and richness to one’s palate. The ice cream is rich without being sweet(a huge bonus for me), w/a sparse, light-delicate berry sauce that compliments the sophisticated flavor of the ice cream. Don’t be put off by the name. Don’t be put-off by the bone presentation(which for me, again, was a bonus), just take a wee spoonful of the ice cream, close your eyes and imagine the paleo dessert of a lifetime. Can’t wait to have it again!!! As always, thanks to Corey and the rest of the staff at Eduardo’s; the food and service are always GREAT!!!

Chicago Chinatown hates me because my second attempt at heading down that way was again interrupted by rain, so I headed back up north of Rush near my hotel to grab dinner. Not a workout night so all intention was to pig out, but a mis-step into She’nanigan’s — who does not have food — deflated all my excitement and I just headed to Eduardo’s just couple of buildings over from the hotel. The candle-lit bistro setting is lovely, and it’s only reasonably loud to boot so it’s a great date spot. The staff is also wonderful as I noticed all of them being very pleasant to patrons. Being alone I sat at the bar, which could have been awkward in this type of a restaurant but turned out to be just fine. The bartender/server was super nice, big kudos to him. Service, atmosphere, are superb. I ordered a spicy pepperoni pizza, and they gave me a basket of toasted baguette which was too good to put down. The pizza was good, although I found the dough to be a little too chewy for my taste. It was due to the thinness rather than overcooking though, and the taste of the pizza was great. The flavors of each ingredient were distinct without standing out too much. Pizza &2 bottles of a craft porter came out to $ 28 and change, quite a reasonable price for this type of a place. The only real negative was that I ate way too much carbs… I’m giving it a 5 although the pizza wasn’t any more than a 4, but other than a really good but not great pizza, everything else was on point. Even if the point was tiny, they’d still be on it. That tight. Table-for-1 Factor: I ate alone at the bar so that should not be a problem, but it is a bit intimidating to build up the courage to walk in at first. After that, no problem.

I absolutely love this neighborhood Italian wine bar in the Gold Coast. I’ve been here a number of times and have always had attentive friendly service and tasty satisfying food. Heather, the bartender is especially wonderful and great at recommending wine. She even remembered what I had the last time I was in which was months ago. I am a sucker for caprese salad and this is no exception. A ball of burrata sitting in fresh pesto surrounded by blistered tomatoes, pickled red onions and grilled bread, this does not disappoint. I also love the grilled salmon over fresh spinach and grilled zucchini carpaccio. The salmon is always grilled to perfection, never dry, and the veggies are super fresh. It comes with a side of lemon but I also ask for olive oil and balsamic to dress the greens. The balsamic is quality, thick aged Italian vinegar, the best. They have an extensive wine menu and offer wine flights as well. I tried the Italian red flight and really enjoyed the Sangiovesse and Chiante but the Pinot was much to fruity for my taste. The bartender replaced my pinot with a different Pinot which was much better. The atmosphere is relaxed with dim light and good music. Overall, I give this 4 stars. Solid choice all around. I’d bring a date or a girlfriend and sit on the patio in the spring.

What a great place! Fantastic food, great and very accommodating staff operating in a well-appointed rustic looking room. I had a Margarita pizza and my guests hd the grilled veggie sandwich on what looked like amazing bread. A great selection of wines. I enjoyed the Chianti classic but I can’t remember which one. I do however remember that it was delicious. Only downside was that they wouldn’t make me a macchiato. Espressos and cappuccinos were available she said but no macchiatos. I didn’t have the heart to tell her…

This place is a dual gem. Great date spot wth amazing dine in speciality pizzas. Staff is great, cozy place, great music, great vibes! It gets better! Carry out Eduardo’s traditional pizza from the back area. Stuffed and thin crust! Double pepperoni stuffed is second to none. Their thin crust is up their with the best of them as well! I ALWAYS order Eduardo’s when I’m back in Chicago! This place will not let you down, trust me!

We were here for a friend’s birthday dinner a couple nights ago, and it was so cute — there was seating for a party of 7 available when we showed up a little after 5, and service was great. We ordered: Sagebutter gnocchi — quite good, but a TINY portion, and very oily Brussels sprouts — a little mushy, but very flavorful. also a small portion. also very oily. Pasta bolognese — my friend loved this. it’s very simple and has great ingredients. Sausage fennel pasta — really enjoyed this one Avocado salad — pretty generous with the avocados, from what I saw, but otherwise unexceptional Pork tenderloin — also pretty good! and we got two massive slices of cake on the house, which was so great. The main reason that I’m giving this review three stars, rather than four(which I think it could easily have deserved), is that our portions were incredibly small. I ordered the brussels sprouts, which are an appetizer, because I wasn’t that hungry — but two of my friends ordered the Sagebutter gnocchi, and the portion size was the same — a small rice bowl size. Definitely not a full meal size. The rest of the portion sizes were okay — not an overflowing portion, but a reasonable amount of food. The other issue was the abundance of oil in both the gnocchi and my brussels sprouts — when we had eaten about half the bowl, we realized that the second half was sitting in a pool of oil that literally went halfway up the side of the bowl. I actually poured my out into a serving bowl(I wasn’t about to just let my food literally bathe in oil!), and it was at least four tablespoon’s worth of oil.

A couple of friends and I ordered from here through GrubHub. Brussels sprouts and the lobster ravioli were the stand out dishes! I would definitely want to dine here in the future.

I had dinner here last night for the first time and was beyond impressed with the overall quality of food, wine and service. Upon arriving, we were told it would be about a 10 minute wait, no big deal as the restaurant is tiny(only 8 – 10 tables). The manager went above and beyond to ensure we were happy regardless of the wait, and brought out an order of brussels sprouts to us complimentary once we were seated. The brussels were the best I’ve had and the pancetta and brown sugar were perfect balance. Second course, we ordered to choose 4 charcuterie — both cheeses were fantastic, although the burrata was a bit TOO soft for my liking. Loved how the sweet cheeses were served with a compote. The salami and the prosciutto were both fantastic. Third course — we shared the Chopped Antipasti Salad. Great portion for two to share. Lastly, we had the SPO pizza. Absolutely fantastic! We will DEFINITELY be back many more times for the fantastic food, service and wine selection!

Lovely little hidden gem of a restaurant near Clark/Division, and a great place for small groups or dates! A friend and I stopped by for a late weekday lunch, so it was pretty empty, but I can imagine that seating can get pretty tight when it’s crowded since the tables are quite close together. The atmosphere feels rustic Italian and service was top-notch. Everything on the menu looked delicious but we finally settled on: — Brussel sprouts: one of the dishes that everyone seems to recommend — for good reason! the brussel sprouts were super crispy and the caramelization gave it a sweet flavor, which combined well with the savory pancetta — Sagebutter gnocchi: really soft delicious gnocchi, topped with an over-easy egg. portion was pretty tiny though(see pic), would definitely recommend getting other stuff too if you order this — Diavola pizza: got this at the recommendation of our waiter — basically a more elegant pepperoni pizza. loved the addition of basil and truffle oil — Tiramisu: this was heavenly! different from most tiramisu’s I’ve had in that there was only one layer of ladyfingers at the bottom so it was more creamy, but still very light Overall, very delicious high-quality food. Would definitely come back to try some more of their pastas and pizzas!

I had a late dinner here with a friend during a recent visit to Chicago. The place is small, but very adorable. It’s an intimate setting, much better for small groups(1 – 4 people). Because it was late, we didn’t have to wait at all to get seated, which is always a plus. We ended up ordering a charcuterie board, and focused on the spicy meats, like the spicy hot casalingo. We really enjoyed the meats. For entrees, I ordered their sagebutter gnocchi, and they did not hold back in the brown butter. It was delicious, but the pancetta was a lot saltier than expected, so I avoided eating that. Besides that, I really enjoyed the gnocchi. Overall, I had a solid experience, and would go back again the next time I’m in Chicago and in the Dearborn area.

Reviewing for Sunday brunch: Very intimate little spot in Gold Coast — indoors could probably seat 25 – 30 people so I wouldn’t recommend this spot for large groups. I ordered the charcuterie board which had several different cheeses(all delicious, all ample size) and some meats. My only qualm was the small amount of bread — there clearly wasn’t enough for how much meat and cheese we got but we survived. After the charcuterie, we also got the prosciutto arugula pizza. Definitely good pizza but nothing mind blowing in terms of creativity but all the flavors were there. Overall it’s a great cozy little restaurant with good food and great service. From the bartender to our server, they were there to fulfill our needs and did it with excellent charisma. While I have only had brunch I would definitely come back to try out the dinner menu.

Eduardo’s Enoteca is a lovely little Italian place with indoor and outdoor seating. The ambiance is perfect for a quiet, romantic dinner, but I wouldn’t recommend it for groups. My fiancé and I came here for dinner last night. We ordered the gnocchi, which was served in a sage and brown butter sauce with pancetta, and the pork tenderloin. The gnocchi was delicious. The pasta was clearly very fresh and well made. The portion was relatively small, but given how heavy the dish was I thought that was reasonable. The pork was underseasoned and dry. It was glazed in a campari sauce, which lent quite a bit of sweetness to the dish, which was only compounded by the bed of braised fennel that the tenderloin was served over. The dish could have benefited from shorter cooking time and the addition of some salt or acidity. The size of the dish was very small; it looked more like an appetizer than an entrée. Because the pork was so minimal, we ordered the flourless chocolate cake for dessert, which was outstanding. We had wine with our meal, and the wines were very nice. The wine selection is great here, I highly recommend having wine if you visit. Based on the experience of others dining around us, I would probably stick to the pasta and pizza dishes. The charcuterie options looked great as well. Overall, we loved the ambiance, but the pork was extremely disappointing. The food was pricey, too. Had the meal been a bit less expensive, perhaps the dessert and gnocchi could have made up for it. I would come back if I were in the immediate area, to enjoy a glass of wine and fresh pasta!

Small neighborhood wine bar that has served as the site of many girls nights and law school breakdowns for me. Things to note: they don’t take reservations, there are maybe 6 or 7 indoor tables(outdoor tables on nice days), there is maybe 4 bar stools, and this place has a very romantic feel. You’re looking at small plates, very similar to RPM without the tourists taking pictures at everything. I found out they recently(4 months ago or so) got rid of their squid ink pasta, but their frutti de mare is still quite damn good(it’s now a buccatini vs. squid ink). Their brussel sprouts are always solid as is basically any pizza on the menu. I don’t go a month without stopping by! I will give you a headsup that while the food here is quite reasonably priced, drinking will make your wallet hurt a bit.

I’ve walked by Eduardo’s a number of time always thinking in the back of my mind that I’ll come back for dinner. But as with most things I was always distracted by all the other bars/restaurants in the city. Finally I made my way here. It’s an intimate space with a small patio. Great date night place. The cocktail list looked delicious but we opted for wine. In my head if I’m having italian I must have wine. The ceaser salad is not your traditional romaine and cesar dressing salad. Eduardo’s comes had chicory, fennel and radish along with other items. I only wish there had been slightly more parmasean on it. On the waitors recommendation we ordered the margarita pizza. Simple and delicious. The tomato sauce is bright and nothing beats mozzarella and basil(though again I could have used a little more basil on it but that’s just me). All in all a great summer night meal enjoyed on the patio.
