The reason I came to this place is because the overall reviews looked good. But I did not like the food at all, I ordered fish tacos and still seen pink in the middle, but they took about 15 minutes to bring it to me. I’m almost positive that I will be sick. 1st and last time going there.

First off, the food here is ok not he best not the worse neither. Prices are reasonable also. 10 $ dollar pizza is good. The negative things. I’ve come here around three times and every time I do they take EXTREMELY long for your order even though there is no one else in the restaurant. I’ve been here with my family and we had to wait for over and hour for a large pizza despite the restaurant being empty. The only thing that made this ok was that the cashier girl came to inform us periodically. Overall if they work on their timely manner I will definitely rate it at least 4 stars.

Great food. I had the breaded steak, pizza, and wings and everything was awesome! I found out that the owner worked for Ricobenes for 20+ years. Tastes just like them if not better. I’ll be back!

Decided to walk in and give this place a try after being tired of the usual surrounding options. After realizing they kept a lot of the old Ricobene’s menu items, I went with the chicken vesuvio sandwich I always ordered when it was Ricobene’s. It tastes just the same if not better. Save yourself a drive to the original Ricobene’s and give this place a try. Same taste, closer to the south side Midway area & nice staff…

Great place and service. A lot of my favorite items from previous restaurant with a new taste to it. Reasonable prices and good daily specials Do like the idea of all you can eat pizza and pasta. Would like to see an updated dining area which may attract old and new customers.

Came thinking it was still Ricobenes. I figured I was there might as well get something. I seen that the breaded steak was still on the menu and since that was the point of my trip I decided to go for it. AWESOME!!! It tastes exactly the same possibly a little better. It was a little depressing in here but I will be fair and blame it on the cold weather and snow. GETTHEBREADEDSTEAK!!! Don’t forget the hot peppers and cheese!

I have been a fan of Ricobennies for years. I even worked a the original location on 26th St when I was younger. l I was with my boyfriend in the areal last night so we thought we should give it a try. It was empty prolla due to da snow storm and it being new years eve. I ordered 2 hot dogs which came with fries and Pepsi. My Boyfriend ordered a double hamburger with fries and a Pepsi. When the lady brought our food to our table I unwrapped our hot dogs and there was no onions on it. No granted I don’t order hot dogs Chicago Style. I told her she had the cook put onions on them. So our fries were luke warm not even hot like they were just sitting out for awhile But they were still very tasty. My hot dogs were like room Temp. I ate one of them anyway. My boyfriend seemed to like his double hamburger. Now I don’t think we will be goin back because our food wasn’t as hot as it should be.

The food here is great. I had the breaded steak which was very delicious. The fries are great and always fresh. I also had the steak tacos and they are delicious the meat is great quality and not fatty. The service was also great and the workers are friendly. I have had delivery from them and the food arrives on time and warm. I would recommend Don Rico’s you will be happy with your visit.

The steak bowl contained fresh romaine lettuce cheese and black beans. Very light. You don’t walk out feeling full. They also have tv and you may request any channel. No need to miss a sporting event! Love the service!

Had to come and try this new establishment and it has ROCKED my tastebuds! I ordered the steak tacos and fish tacos and it beats Zaca Tacos hands down. The meat is tender and full of charred flavor that I crave. The tortilla is warm, soft and the onions and cilantro is very fresh also. Its a great quality taco and I’m hooked. The Fish taco is one of the best I’ve had ever. The fish was golden, crispy, and perfectly flakey. The fillet is very generous and the mango salsa is on point. Very refreshing and it hits the spot. The special touches to the rice makes a difference unlike the many other taco restaurants. It has 3 different beans, olives, bacon, onions… talking about a flavor explosion! The side of beans are cooked to perfection with onions and bacon. This place is not your ordinary boring restaurant. «A+» to the staff also. They are friendly and very warm. I will be a regular for life! BTW… my coworker had the breaded steak and he said that it puts Ricobenes to shame.

I had to give them a try and I am sorry I did. The food was bad, well the only good thing was the fries not even the soda was good it was so water down, the hubby had the Italian beef; first of all he order it with hot peppers and he also had some cheese fries with and a Coke, they forgot the hot peppers and they gave him a fanta instead of the coke but they did charge me for the peppers… I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was all burn and no favor at all… I don’t think I will be coming back anytime soon. I also think it is over priced

Can’t say I’m excited they took over Ricobenis in the least. But I will be fair. At best their food is so far only semi mediocre. I must admit that I have to give them a three just for honesty. I had the pasta with meat sauce and WACALA(Latin word for ummmmm)… This place is a hybrid of Mexican and Italian but totally miss the mark! Sauce was weak and not thick at all, did t have the best taste but again, they are recently opened so I will be nice and try them again in a few weeks when they have it together. The drinks were good, meaning POP. Nothing spectacular just good. Fries(I ordered a side) and they wet Eilat also, nothing to brag about but of course I took into consideration that they are new and deserve a chance to get it together. The location of course is big and spacious and I am hoping they can fill the booths but hopefully again they will get the recipes together therefore a better review can be made. I don’t think they have the drive they open just yet, but hopefully that is also on the next visit.
