Getting Dr. Dini from a referral I didn’tknow what to expect. I was so lucky to get him. He listens to you, explains everything regarding the surgery you’re to have and is so very compassionate. The minute I talk to him I feel good. He also responds to voice mails in a timely fashion. He is a very comforting doctor.

I saw Dr. Dini yesterday for the first time. I was referred to him by my PCP for adhesions. He was the fourth doctor I’ve seen for this issue since the beginning of the year. I explained my symptoms to Dr. Dini, told him how much pain I have been in, the conclusion that the other doctors had arrived at, and how I had arrived at his office. I was in tears. He wrote me a prescription for Motrin and told me to come back when I had obtained the results of tests I had done in February. Dr. Dini’s secretary came into the exam room while I was getting ready to leave. I was still crying because I was so frustrated that I felt he had barely listened to me. The secertary asked if I was ok. I said no. She reminded me of my prescripton for Motrin. I told her that it was the same thing I had been taking and didn’t help. She left and returned a moment later with Dr. Dini, who proceeded to tell me that drugs weren’t the answer, that he didn’t know me and had only seen me once, and wouldn’t give me anything else for pain because it would make me a drug addict and insinuated that I had only come to him to get a prescription for pain killers. He repeated himself a few times. Finally, still crying, I thanked him for his time and walked out of his office.

I went back to see Dr. Dini this week. I am at the stage where I could get my check– ups done by my GP., but there is something very comforting in Dr. Dini’s manner that keeps me coming back. I can’t say enough good things about him. Dr. Dini is my hero and always will be.
