On point humorous political skits. It felt almost like we got three shows for the price of one ticket price because there was also performances by a local band, and a stand-up routine by a local comedian. The fact that some of the ticket price went to support a cause(Chrip Radio, in the case of the show we intended), and that you get $ 3 towards food or beverage with your ticket price contributes to the overall feeling of value. My only gripe, which is minor, is that their web-site and e-mails say«Doors open at 7:10pm and the show begins at 7:30pm» which wasn’t true. We got there at 7:10 and had to wait a bit on the stairs while they finished up practicing, and the show started 10 – 15 minutes late as well.

Saw the show on its opening night. It was very current, funny, and entertaining. We’ll be there for the next show!

Biting hilarity, generally focused on comical(and sometimes scary) criticism of the Bush administration. These performers and their subject matter are very similar to watching Colbert Report skits in person. They have a show once per month(generally on the second Tuesday of the month), with each show having a specific topic. September’s subject was«The 14 Points of Fascism» and October’s was«Condi-Ween». The upcoming November show will focus on Elections. Well worth the $ 10(really, they just ask for what you can afford) price at the door. It’s a small venue, which holds 100 people max, so the atmosphere is very personal and each show includes some form of audience participation. Great fun and it’ll make you think.
