I had three horrible makeup trials for my wedding before I found Danielle. I told them all I had wanted a simple, fresh and natural look and then they all caked makeup on me and told me it would be worth it «for the pictures.» I didn’t want to just look good in the pictures! I wanted to look amazing in person and feel comfortable in my own skin.
Danielle instantly made me feel at ease. We met at her apartment, she made me tea, she put on music we both loved and we talked about my vision and looked at pictures. 45 minutes later the make up look that I had been hoping was possible but others had told me wasn’t. I looked fresh and luminous and natural– like a softer and more radiant version of myself.
A few months later Danielle drove all the way to northern Wisconsin to do the make up for my friends and I at my wedding. Everyone got exactly the look they wanted from soft and natural to totally glam. Danielle is a brilliant make up artist and, more importantly, a lovely and kind person. She was an absolute dream to work with and I would recommend her to anyone looking to become a prettier version of themselves for a day.
And, my wedding pictures turned out amazing.

I was so lucky to have Danielle be a part of my wedding day! She was so easy to communicate with and i felt comfortable with her every step of the way. I had seen some of Danielle’s work on her website and knew right away she was perfect for my big day. Danielle traveled to Michigan for not only my wedding but for my make up trial as well. She was receptive to how i envisioned my make up for the big day but her expertise is what really made me feel and look like a queen on the best day of my life. I can’t say enough great things about her work– she is truly an artist.
