The customer service at this Cosi is excellent. Every time I go the employees are so nice and efficient! I’ve tried the Caribbean chicken and Thai curry bowls and they were both good. Tons of healthy options and the prices are more than reasonable.

Not really a fan of any of the lunch or dinner options but their bagels are better than most places. The parmesan basil and asiago bagel are both really good. Yogurt parfait is also very tasty.

I love Cosi!!! The only thing now is the prices went up, I went to Cosi earlier this week and it cost me $ 13.56 just for a Signature salad, a cookie and a drink. I cannot believe it but I can actually, especially for Chicago, all the restaurant taxes are raising and it totally sucks, it will be even more expensive to buy lunch in the city.

Welp, this was the biggest waste of $ 9. I deserve zero stars for even considering this place, let alone actually walking in and spending my money on this garbage food. There are so many great restaurants in Chicago I don’t know what planet I was on when I walked in here on a rare, gorgeous spring day in March. My food was bland, the portion size was SOSMALL, and it seemed like my food was just zapped in a microwave. Do yourself a favor and NEVERCOMEHERE. One of the waitstaff yelled at me for sitting a table and not hearing my name called and then proceeded to give me sass when I apologized/tried to understand why she was even pissed in the first place. I restrained from giving her a piece of my mind because she had a third grader’s vocabulary and likely wouldn’t have understood anything I said. Unilocal, the«Good For» survey question below this needs one more check box option: NOTHING.

First of all, good luck in finding a napkin in this joint. Very poorly managed place that has a lot of staff but, no one really doing anything. Too many redundancies in that background that I’ve seen. A staff that runs around and accomplished nothing. As for a customer experience for this place I rank it a 1 out of 10, of course 1 being the lowest rank. My cup of coffee for a small cup is half filled and on top of that cost me $ 2 for what seems like a shot of expresso. This place wastes a lot of man power for the little they do and offer. I would rather lick the sidewalk than have to go through this experience again. Definitely not coming back to a dump like this…

This place is super convenient to my office. I’ve been back a couple times, and it’s always kind of screwed up. But this time was out and out gross. Not again. I ordered online for a late lunch. I guess being out of both Snapple and bread pudding is excusable at 3pm. But don’t hand me my order with no drink like it’s complete. And then offering me an alternative that you have to go back in the back room for a few minutes to find and you’re out of that too? And I realize I’m standing there next to a tub of drinks on ice, thinking, ‘should I just take one of these???‘ I’m actually kind of a laid back guy and none of this was a big deal. I wouldn’t write a negative review about it. But I got my sandwich back to my desk, opened it up to take out the allergens, and realized a chunk of pork on my banh mi didn’t look right. At first I thought it was eggplant or something – which would be bad being as I’m allergic to that too. But I took a bite, and… it was a big chunk of pork fat. No meat, just fat. As was the rest of the meat in the sandwich. I’m a skinny guy, I can eat fat. But that much fat in a sandwich is greasy and gross. Big-ass chunks. I’m all excited about my tasty banh mi(I usually love banh mi) and I get a sandwich full of pork fat. I would say go a block south to Specialties. Better customer service, better website, better food. Less adventurous, but much better execution.

It’s a cosi, I mean what is there to say. The latte is tasty enough, my only real beef is that there’s too much foam at the top, so my large is actually just a medium by the time the foam settles down. The sandwiches however are very good. The oatmeal is a tad on the runny side for me. The customer service at this locations is great though and that is why they manage the three stars I gave them.

This district manager keeps getting cit right here… first he hired Julio who had this place jumping with good fast prompt service… now he replaced Julio with Cassie. This woman brings a vibrant energy to the place and the staff is nicer!!! Is it possible??? Hahaha yes it is!!! Thanks guys and when you need your lunch fast healthy and good, come here…

One of the most unusual things about this location(any maybe all the other locations, who knows) is that the digital menus often do not reflect what they are serving. They advertise one dish on a placard outside, but there is no information about sizes, pricing, etc. on the menu inside. You want to order something that is actually on the menu – too bad, they stopped serving and no longer have it in stock. The outdated menu issue has been a problem for at least a year now. They have lost my order on two separate occasions, blaming the receipt printing machine. The salads are drenched in too much dressing. The soup is okay. The bread is tasty when warm, but pretty dry otherwise. And Cosi is expensive for what it is.

Me and the guys stop in every morning for a cup of coffee and squagel. Food to me is ok. Really love the environment and great service we get from Jennifer. Jennifer always checks on us to make sure that everything is good.

Super disgusting(and overpriced I might add) food. Small restaurant and loud employees that are somewhat lacking in the customer service arena. The salad I had to go was a hastily thrown together mess with FROZEN chicken on top. Yes, pre cooked frozen chicken. Mmmmmmm yummy. Never again.

Not super impressed at all. Workers seemed pretty disinterested in their jobs. I asked what the soup of the day was and the clerk had to ask someone who was sitting at a table doing what looked like schoolwork. I asked for water and was given a choice of bottled water or just tap water. I chose tap water and was handed a cup. I went up the drink bar and could only find ice so i went back to ask and she said«right under the ice» I went back and needed a magnifying glass to see the tiny little tab they said water. I am sure I am not the first one to have that problem. I ordered the soup and a sandwich. After she took my credit card she asked me of I wanted the whole soup and whole sandwich. What the heck is whole soup??? I asked her what that meant and she seemed befuddled so I finally just said yes! I was hungry. I was handed a card which I figured out to put on a card holder on my table identifying my order. When I got my meal it actually looked pretty good. The soup was very tasty but actually burned the roof of my mouth it was so hot. The sandwich looked good closed but when I opened it there were chunks of mozzarella cheese cold and not melted. I ended up dipping my sandwich in the hot soup and the cheese melted and then tasted pretty good. The staff locked all the doors while a few of us were still there so that may be why they seemed less than engaged on their jobs as it was doing time at 4pm. All in all not a good food experience

This is a solid spot for a quick lunch downtown. They have great soup and they are famous for their flat bread, which is addicting. My favorite menu item is the roasted veggie sandwich. Get it hot!

The BEST chicken noodle soup of all the chains/restaurants in Chicago. I totally mistakenly happened upon it one day. Delicious broth and so healthy and fresh, I couldn’t believe it. The salad I got was lackluster though and didn’t have enough chicken and doused in too much dressing. Love their bread, but it was not enough to push them up to 4 stars. However, if you do need a good bowl of soup, check them out. Friendly service.

Dying for my morning coffee Monday morning at 8:30am only to find the medium roast empty? I settle for the dark roast but empty? The restaurant had about 10 guests sitting at the table and nobody at the register ordering. Not good!

«Slater, haven’t you heard of the Women’s Movement?» «Sure. Put on something cute and MOVE it into the kitchen.» — Jessie and Slater in The Mamas and the Papas episode of Saved by the Bell. Well when I’m downtown and peckish I might be looking cute but not have access to a kitchen. What’s a girl to do? Hit a café, dur. This one will be memorable because when I went with my gf we sat next to Mario Lopez, Slater from SBTB. That’s right Preppies. WESATNEXTTOMARIOLOPEZ. So weird. He was on his cell and didn’t eat. After he got off we asked him a random questions. Like why he was in Chicago, where he goes, then his agent guy showed up and whisked him away to an appearance. This Cosi gets pretty crowded at lunch time. They sell sandwiches that come in pocket form. Salads, soups, and bagels in a square shape(how presh!). I like the taste of the 2 breads: multigrain and normal and its an interesting flaky, buttery texture. The soups are wack. The salads are not well executed; kinda messy, some leaves limp or skunky, and the texture of respective meats is off… like frozen and weird. The cookies are rad. Especially the white chocolate macadamia nut, which is SOGOOD!!! Anyhoo, nothing special. The cookies and bread are good and you might see a random C list celebrity like Johnathan Taylor Thomas or Ashley from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. LOL

I had to work New Year’s Eve and I was there until 5PM… then as I treked through the pedway to the Blue Line I found out that teh Aon Building had comically locked their doors. I trudged to Dearborn and thought maybe a snack if anyone is still open. I always feel bad for anyone who has to work when seemingly everyone else has gone home. I stopped in because they were open. I really hated the one that used to be on Lake St in Oak Park! To make a long story less long, I have never met anyone so upbeat as the young lady behind the counter! I mean, she made going there a positive experience! I had a Cobb Salad and coffee and she was just so bubbly an cheerful that I actually forgot to feel guilty that I was making her work on New Year’s Eve! I would definatly dine here again! You have no idea what a change taht is after having had so much depressing service at the Oak Park location! She actually changed my mind that this is an unpleasant place to dine. Give her a raise or something!

There are better Cosi’s in the loop than this location. My main problem stems from a particular employee with Pink hair who rarely if ever showers or combs /brushes her hair. I mean her hair looks pretty disgusting – as if she never showers – and sometimes she’ll go back and make my sandwhich without gloves on and without washing her hands. The manager needs to pull her aside and say«don’t come to work unless you shower.» End of story. I hate to drag the whole location down but basic hygiene is my expectation as a customer.

Their salads are kinda small salad for $ 8…but it came with a hearty slice of flatbread. I had the Bombay salad, it was okay… but I’d get a sandwich if there is a next time. The pizza that my niece and nephew shared was basically flatbread with some sauce and a little cheese… now when I say a little cheese, I mean a very little. Come on, it’s pizza… give it some cheese! I know Cosi is all about their flatbread or whatever because they make it fresh, but cheese should be the star in a pizza! Their soda machine is pretty high tech. Pick any soda then give it a flavor shot. Kinda weird but a novelty worth experimenting with; peach Sprite and grape Coke.
