Took the family for Father’s Day and sat outside which was very nice. The waitress came out and took our order for drinks and appetizers after our drinks arrived she took awhile to come back and take our order. My daughter ordered the crab legs and ribs which she let me taste them they were cold and not very fresh my sons ordered pasta dishes which they said were just ok I wanted to send my daughter order back but the waitress disappeared again. This place is not cheap and I don’t mind paying for good food. We all gave it the BIG X

Rocco seems to be running the bar(and that’s a good thing) and it’s looking like a lot of changes with the bar staff. Good manhattans. Consistent service.

AWESOME thin crust, and the oysters Colletti are very good. Has great drinks too. Nice ambiance in the Restrauant, and when we had pizza delivered, it came hot and quick.

My favorite pizza on the northwest side. Mostly I’m a delivery customer but the other night I ate in or more technically out… on their patio. Great night with great service. The pizza was spot on and the live music sounded awesome.

Came here on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Six adults and three kids. They quickly put together some tables for us outside. We asked to be in the shade which they happily obliged. Kids relaxed on the couch while we had some drinks and great free bread while we waited for our food. Wife had Italian beef sandwich and I had pizza. Both were awesome. I didn’t try what the kids had but they ate it and seemed pleased. My kids are surprisingly picky for 6 and 9 year olds. Server was attentive. Hostess was nice. Nothing to complain about. We will go back again.

We had high expectations walking into this place. Reviews seemed decent and we have passed by it a lot and it always seems to have a good flow of people coming in. It was my nieces 2nd birthday so we took her there. I want to start off by saying the service was great. This review is getting the two stars strictly because of the food. To get right to the point it simply just was not good at all. We ordered a pitcher of sangria… it was so watered down you could barely taste anything in it. Ok drinks were a bust maybe food will be better and make up for it. Not the case. I got the fettacuini Alfredo with chicken. 16 bucks. I didn’t know you could mess that up as bad as this was. It was pasta with the worst Alfredo sauce I have ever had. For sure straight out of a jar, but that’s not even the worst part… the chicken was 3 breaded chicken tenders actually more like nuggets. I couldn’t believe it. So so disappointed! My husband had the lasagna… almost positive it was frozen and just zapped in the microwave. Lastly my brother had the lobster pasta…23 bucks. Thought for sure… this can’t be bad and yet again another fail. Super dry and the lobster taste freezer burnt. They brought out a cupcake with a candle for my niece and sang happy birthday so the smile on her face at the end of the day is what really matters but we literally all just sat there and couldn’t believe how horrible the food was. Ya win some you lose some I guess… id say this place needs some serious help in the kitchen, 150 dollar check. It honestly hurt to pay it. It was so disappointing.

This place was good at first until the delivery guy came banging on the door and ringing the bell obnoxiously after the fact I told them call upon arrival. Then we starting picking up our food until the last time I was there I specifically saw the pizza man preparing a pizza walked away from the pizza to give the delivery guy money out of the register then walks back to pizza and continues preparing without even washing his hands!!! This by far disgusted me, I mean why wouldn’t you wash your hands after touching money when your preparing other people’s food smh?! I was so done with them i walked out and never returned.

I will NEVER go here again!!! Me and finace went there for our very first time over the weekend and paid with my Chase card. It wasnt till later that night i realized upon checking my account they had DOUBLECHARGEDME!!! I HIGHLYRECOMMENDNOTDININGHERE!!! CHECKYOURBILLANDIFYOUMUSTPAYCASH. THEYARE A BUNCHOFCROOKS!!! I SPENT45MINONTHEPHONEDISPUTINGTHECHARGEWITHMYBANK. Thankfully Chase reversed the 2nd wrongful charge. Its a shame cause their food wasnt too bad. Margaritas were delicious but if you are shady with the way you do business then to me it doesnt matter how good your food is…

The thin crust pizza was really fascinating. Opss, Don’t forget to grab their three different sauce, which are Marinara, Alfredo, and Basil Pesto, then you can choose up to three toppings to make it yours! Yummmmmmmy! I want to settle outside next time, if it is amazing.

I strongly recommend against going here, I firmly believe that the ownership does not deal honestly nor fairly with its customers. I will not go into the details, but for approximately an extra $ 60 on the bill these owners have lost our business forever. At the time and under the circumstances It was not worth quibbling over, but at a minimum this was an exceedingly poor way to treat paying customers. If you ignore my warning and you do, I would audit the bill very, very closely and discuss any particulars well in advance.

Service was slow but not like ‘im gonna kill myself’ slow. More like ‘we dont usually get a sunday brunch crowd’ slow. I dunno what I was thinking ordering a burger at an Italian joint — I guess since the menu had an entire section devoted to burgers. Typically a little char on a medium rare burger is good, but the burnt meat was overwhelming. Never ordering a burger here again, thats for sure. Maybe gonna try something more Italian.

Overall, we love Colletti’s. But I’ve had ongoing issues with their menu not matching the food delivered, and this happened most recently just a few days ago. Case in point: I do not like sliced tomatoes in sandwiches. I’m always careful to ask for«no tomato» when it lists this as an ingredient. I also try to not waste food, so if my sandwich arrives with tomato anyway, I pick it off if I can. But when the menu doesn’t mention it, and it comes on the sandwich anyway, to me this is a fail on the restaurant’s part. Such was the case with my Muffuletta, which the menu very specifically says comes with Parma prosciutto, genoa salami, capicolla, mortadel, provolone, spicy olive salad, and Italian ciabatta bread. I’m not Italian, but I sure don’t see anything here that screams«Beware, tomatoes!» But my delicious sandwich came with three lovely(uck) tomato slices brightly littering its otherwise delicious goodness. Not good. Please, Colletti’s, if you’re going to put tomatoes on it, warn me of that in your menu. One more minor thing — Take a lesson from McAlister’s and chop your olives up better. They’re sliced, but still the pieces are so large and loose that they easily fall out of the bread while I’m trying to eat the sandwich. I’ve had this«no Tomatoes warning» issue at Colletti’s before, with a cream-based pasta dish arriving with chucks of raw tomato on top, even though they weren’t mentioned in the menu. That time, since we couldn’t pick them all out, we sent it back. But I hate to have to do that. Just please keep in mind that there are some of us who just don’t like tomato.(My daughter and I would really rather have pizza without the sauce, too, BTW — It would be great to have an Alfredo, or at least oil and garlic, option.) Everything else was great — Our server(Catherine, who we’ve had before) was pleasant in a reserved way, and efficient. Your bread is some of the best in town, and having several whole garlic cloves in the dipping oil is a crushable/edible delight. Your thin pizza crust, although we didn’t get it this time, is delicious, and my young adult kids both enjoyed their pasta selections this time. We’ve been coming here for many years(since they days when we picked up the carryout pizza over the half-door to the kitchen!) and in general love the place, but please work on describing the dish in the menu exactly as it will be served.

I have lived in the neighborhood for 20 years. This restaurant has gone through many changes, the last was the undoing of the quality of food. I recently attended a after funeral luncheon, and the food and service was phenomenal. That is what prompted my family to try the restaurant again. Ugh. Bad decision. I could not eat my dinner, and I ordered pasta! It was cold in places. must have been microwaved. My husband ordered a chicken dish that tasted like it was pulled from yesterday’s menu, potatoes were cold. As a family, we are not able to enjoy dinners out as much as we would like, and I am so disappointed we all left hungry. This is Chicago! In less than a mile there stands Pasta D’arte in Norwood park on Milwaukee Ave and mia figlia in edgebrook on devon they will deliver fabulous food and servers who know their kitchen! Nothing on the menu will dissapoint. Same price points, more authentic Italian, and just better fucking food!

Terrible service. Our waitress(patty), was incompetent and inattentive. And after having given us terrible service, dared to complain about the tip she received or, in her perspective, didn’t receive. Our table collectively gave her well over the suggested 20% tip and she actually verbalized to myself, that, «Not one of us even gave a 20% tip». I spoke to a manager(Rocky)on staff the same night, he was also uninterested and refused to rectify the situation with the party involved and only told us that he would«Mention it.» To the waitress. There are plenty of fantastic American/Italian restaurants with awesome service in the Chicagoland area. This is NOT one of them.

As a former server, I’m very observant and critical any time I am dining-in somewhere. This was my first experience at Coletti’s and if it wasn’t for the company I was with I would have had an unsatisfactory experience at this restaurant. I came here with my two bosses and 7 co-workers for an out-of-the office fun time and dine. We were greeted by our server(whom I wish not to name to save embarrassment) who seemed very nice in the beginning but did mention, however, that the restaurant was going through a shift change(don’t know what she was insinuating). We placed our drinks and appetizer orders and our server was very efficient in brining out the appetizers and drinks in a timely fashion. Drinks were also being refilled quickly, which was great for a ten-person party. We had two orders of fried calamari, bread baskets with garlic infused olive oil, and two separate flat bread orders(one was sausage and tomato and the other was cheese and spinach, I think). The appetizers were delicious! I was excited to see what else was in store. We then placed our entrée order and I ordered the aged 14oz. New York strip steak. As a steak lover, I was so excited to try it out. I don’t doubt that I ordered the most expensive item on the menu: this steak was $ 28.99 or something crazy like that and I also upgraded to the«gourmet» Mac and Cheese as a side, which was $ 6.99. I requested my steak to be encrusted in Parmesan cheese if possible, and asked for the brandy peppercorn sauce on the side for an additional $ 2 per request for a total of an additional $ 4. After our orders had been placed, it appeared we were then turned over to another server named Stephanie. This was exciting because prior to dining at Coletti’s, I went on Unilocal to read the reviews(of course) and saw a nice review of Stephanie. Also, by this time our server seemed to be irritated by us and was popping over our shoulders to drop things off without saying a word and then rushing away. I didn’t know why the change of attitude over the span of 30 minutes. Stephanie mentioned that out server was off for the day or something like that so that might have explained it. Anyway, it turned out Stephanie made a mistake and we were tossed back over to our previous server. Next, we all got our soups or salads and I chose the Caesar salad, which was delicious. When our entrees finally arrived I was horrified. I asked for my steak medium-rare but it was medium. They also put this weird Parmesan blob up top which was not a crust in the slightest. The«gourmet» Mac and Cheese tasted worse than Kraft Mac and Cheese and came in this tiny dish. And worst of all, my steak tasted like charcoal. The outside of my steak had beautiful grill marks so I could not, for the life of me, explain why it tasted like it had been burnt. I tell you, if it wasn’t for the appetizers, I would have been starving by now. Also, thank goodness my boss paid for all of our meals or else I would have easily spent over $ 40 on my entrée alone. But I feel terrible that she had to pay for something that was easily the most expensive item on the menu. Needless to say, I left 70% of my meal untouched and wrapped it up to go so I could have my parter try it(doubt that she’ll finish it though). Also, our server was by this time was providing us with downright rude service. You can see it all over her face that she was upset and ready to go home or whatever. Next, we had dessert and I ordered the turtle chocolate sundae which was also delicious. When our server brought the check, she was eager to finish with us and was standing behind my boss over her shoulder waiting for payment and asking how much gratuity to add to the check. My boss generously tipped twenty percent which is more than I would have done. I am rating Coletti’s two stars because the most important factors in a dining experience is the entrée and the service which were both unsatisfying. I am glad, however, that the appetizers, salad, and dessert were all very tasty. If I ever return here, I’ll be sure to order something that’s hard to mess up such as fettuccini Alfredo or a chicken entrée.

I love how the place looks from the inside even though it always seemed packed from the parking lot but surprisingly plenty of room! The complimentary bread was fresh and warm. I was amused by the crayola crayons for kids. I enjoyed the supreme thin crust pizza and the lobster carbonara! Looking forward to trying other stuff on menu. Our waitress-Gennie was pretty excellent always making sure our drinks weren’t empty and the anbience of the place that’s why the 4 star rating. Some items we ordered seemed abit pricey compared to some other Italian restaurants ive been to

Like a true Unilocaler I reviewed the restaurant before going. The reviews ranged from 1 – 5 stars so we weren’t really sure what to expect. We went to Colletti’s on the corner of Elston & Central for my nieces graduation dinner. I have driven by Colletti’s many times as I live in Forest Glen. This was the first time I ate here and I was pleasantly surprised. The dining area is was very clean with a nice ambience. There were many mixed reviews about the service & the food. Our waitress Stephanie was awesome plus she was cute. She was very friendly with an outgoing personality. From the time we walked in the service was great. Stephanie was always checking in to see if there was anything that we needed. The busboy was also did a great job of bringing bread, clearing the table of dishes that we were done with and making sure our water glasses were always full. The food reviews on Unilocal was also all over the place, but it seems like everyone at our table enjoyed their meals. Stephanie started us out with bread with garlic, olive oil & parmesan cheese(yummy). I had the ribs and they were very good(4.5 Stars). My wife ordered the skirt steak Churrsco. This was also very good. It was cooked medium rare the way she ordered it and seasoned very well. As I stated before everyone else enjoyed their food as well. Colletti’s was only given a review of 3 stars which I felt was low based on the ambience, food & service. I would go back again, maybe try eating at the nice outdoor area when the weather gets a little warmer. We were told that they also have band performing which could be fun for dinner, drinks & relaxing outside

Colletti’s is the party place all the time, but they have outdone themselves for the holidays. Last Saturday night, I danced my buns off! They have ample room for their separate private parties. The week before, one party had a DJ and it was such a good time. The music seems to separate itself from others rooms, which I thought was so appropriate. I keep on love, love, loving Colletti’s! Keep up the great food, service and good times!

Just to keep this short. i tried them dining in with my daughter 2 days ago. wasnt impressed! As we were leaving, the look of the pizza people had on their table made me order carryout tonight. i ordered 2 family size pizzas(18″) first pizza i had it ½ cheese and the other half was italian beef and hot peppers. second pizza was ½ vegi and half mushroom. What a waste of money. I wish i ordered from Domino’s!
