I am so sad… Coast Burger is gone:(They have been there so long, right across from the building I work in… This is one of the best burger places I have EVER had! I went over today for lunch and just gone, I thought for sure they had just been moved because there was a massive Coming soon sign for NY Pizza. Concierge barely knew about it. I think it just happened in the last day or so. What the heck… Please open another location Coast Burger. I will be looking out for you :)

Stepping out of the In-n-Out bubble is definitely unnerving, especially in a mall food court. I’m glad to report that Coast Burger is a hidden gem; the Greenwich burger was excellent.

Phenomenal burger. Way better than Smashburger, Epic, Counter, Shake Shack and M Burger. Would never believe is in a food court. Huge size, fresh tasty meat, toppings and bun perfect. Go for the Empire State burger and be happy. Fries are very good, too(natural type with skin), but not necessary unless you are really hungry. I notice that many of the negative Unilocal reviews are about things other than the burger(like ordering a hot dog at a place that has burger in its name! or having to wait for them to cook your burger — yes they make it fresh to order).

My didn’t have a halal burger in years. We were lucky that they didn’t run out on the Friday that we visited mall. In case yore confused about the location, the restaurant is located at the Shops on North Bridge food court, 4th floor. If you want halal, you need to specifically ask for it. Sometimes they run out. The fries were quite good too; try a combo. My Park Avenue burger kept falling apart but it was delish.

Wow. The burgers are surprisingly good. For a random food court counter, the burgers are super delicious. The meat tastes beeft, the bun is toasted, the fries crisp, etc. not much of a line for my visit, but people are right, its slow. Slow prob means some guy is actually grilling the burger. I had planned to go to next door potbelly, but the line was crazy long compared to no line. In the time it took for my Coast burger to be ready, I could have waited in line at least twice at potbelly.

Great veggieburger. Didn’t try their fries. The place itself is really quite boring so consider taking the food with you. No pictures of the food on their menu — so you just hope for the best. And it actually was really good! I’ll be back!

Not much to complain about here. The burger was great and the fries were also very good. I had the Empire burger which is a basic burger with cheese, fries and drink, all for about $ 10. There is plenty of searing on the 4th floor(summer friday lunch). Couldn’t tell you why they only have 3.5 stars.

This place serves Whole Earth burger meat. I don’t think I’ve had a better restaurant burger in my life. Highly recommend.

I had the veggie burger and it was very good! I actually wished I ordered another! The veggie patty is a little on the thinner side(hence the deduction of a star) but still very tasty and just plain delicious. I will definitely return.

Awesome food court burger joint located in the Nordstrom building on Mich Avenue. Empire State Burger and the Turkey Burger are awesome. Hand cut fries are really good as well. You have the options of fountain soda or actual bottles. Lunchtime wait isn’t too bad as we usually get our burgers around 7 mins after ordering. Seating can be tough… as I mentioned earlier, it is a food court. Good stuff here and a nice selection of burgers

For a food court burger, you can’t do much better than this! I get the Empire State Burger — LOADED. Grab a cup of pop, and you’re good to go.

I found this place through the Zabiha app and was expecting a subpar food court burger but I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and quality of this food court. Ok so they don’t have halal burgers all the time so it’s a good idea to call and make sure as I have seen huge groups of Muslims standing and leaving because they had run out. The burgers are juicy and hearty so make sure you come hungry because you will be full. I like this place more than epic and I feel the meat quality is better than maxs. I do however wish the fries were traditional, overly salted and many times they are just stale. But if a burger is what your craving make sure to try it.

All burger types can be upgraded to grass fed beef for an extra $ 2… that’s actually not a bad deal at all and it’s better for everyone involved. They don’t actually tell you anything about grass fed vs corn fed beef on their menu, but they have the grass fed advertised on a piece of paper on the counter. kind of odd placement. Fries were OK. fresh cut but could have either been fried twice for better texture, or longer at least. Drink options didn’t include unsweetened iced tea. This is a counter-service in the Nordstrom mall food court. Prices are pretty reasonable. There was no line, and once I ordered the wait time was exactly what you’d expect to wait for a burger to cook.

First off, I would have to say, their waiting time is little bit long but its worth the wait when you get a well done cooked hamburger every time without even telling them you want it well done. But if you dont have the patience, they do offer the«Call Ahead(312)-923−0006.» I always forget so that’s on me if i have to wait long for my meal because its a very big sign. Second, they are a little bit pricey as well, which you can expect when ordering from a mall food court, smack in the middle of the city, and one of the highest state taxes around. Usually my meals are around the $ 10 range and that includes a well done Empire State Burger, a large amount of fries, and i would say a medium size drink. So its not that bad but i can go to McDonalds and order a Big Mac meal for a couple dollars cheaper. But i dont care i work in the mall so i deal with it. Last, I would like to say that i absolutely love their burgers! I always order their Empire State Burger and the best part which would be the meat, is always well done, it has so far never been under cooked. Also as i mentioned earlier with the fries, they are definitely NOT stingy! I definitely recommend coming here rather than their food court neighbors across from them who tend to be really stingy!(if you been to the mall you know which places i’m talking about).

Fantastic bang for your buck when at the North Bridge Mall. True, there is a wait, but this isn’t McDonalds. Good food is made fresh.

The burgers are actually pretty good… the hot dogs are not grilled, so i dont care for them… and the prices are actually cheap… they are always under staffed, which probably explains the cheap prices… I think it takes too long for them to prepare your food… This place is located in the Nordstrom building, on the 3rd floor in the food court

Disgusted. First of all, this place is connected to Habo Nero Grill in Nordstrom, and I guess just rotates employees to either section. Unlike Habo Nero Grill, you cannot actually see your food being prepared because it’s made in a back kitchen. Guess that would have prevented them from dropping an onion ring that had obviously fallen on the floor, into my bag. How do I figure it had been dropped on the floor, you ask? Well. It may have been the long, straight dark hair that was entangled in the ring(not just sitting on top of it) and fyi my hair is short, bright red and textured so it was not mine. Also, it could’ve been the piece of lint a top of the hair(s), which was a giveaway as well. Thoroughly disgusted. I came here on my lunch break today and decided to write this post as soon as I got back to my desk. Not only am I nauseous and I feel like I’m going to throw up any minute — just from the sheer thought that I almost ate somebody’s frickin HAIR — and then also knowing that I’ve eaten here and at Habo Nero before and who knows if I missed hair, particles, dust or lint, grime, whatever. Gross. Plus, now I have to wait until I get off work in 4 hours to try to get some food. Awesome. If this was a sign from the cosmos for me to stop buying lunch start bringing my own food — it worked!!! Too expensive to eat downtown every day any damn way! Currently going to buy Sprite or Ginger Ale from the vending machine!

If you’re on a diet and craving a real fatty burger, come here for the Veggie Burger. This place is tucked quietly into Nordstrom’s Food Court. Delicious. I ordered the veggie burger — with everything + provolone cheese. Couldn’t tell it was a veggie burger! Plus: Their Veggie burger = good real burger substitute taste-wise. The burger alone was filling. Minus: Had to wait a bit. 5ish mins. Cost was $ 6.05(tax included) for just the burger. It could be a lower, say no more than $ 5. I won’t come here often since I don’t like paying over $ 5 for a veggie burger, unless it comes with sides.

Decent burger… LONG wait. If you go during lunch, plan on waiting at least 10 minutes for your food. Not really a whole lot to write about on this one. It’s a burger place in a food court. Good in a pinch. Not great otherwise.

Random Chicago Burgerquest! Empire State Burger: The Classic + cheddar, american, bleu, swiss, or pepperjack Our burgers are fresh(never frozen) 100% natural beef & cooked medium well done. Served with shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato, onions, sliced pickles, sweet relish, ketchup & mayo. substitute veggie or turkey on any burger. Cooking Style/Temp: griddled, medium + Additions/Subtractions: american cheese, no relish Burger: 3.5 The meat was surprisingly good, and cooked to more medium than medium well which was great. I could taste the freshness and it had a nice griddled crust. 6oz is the perfect size for a fast food style burger. Bun: 3 Standard sesame seed commercial style bun. Tasted fresh, and was perfectly toasted. Toppings: 4 I got the basic burger topping selection, but they were all executed perfectly. Shredded lettuce, krinkle cut pickles, perfectly sliced tomato, just the right amount of ketchup and mayo, the onions weren’t overpowering and the cheese was perfectly melted. Accoutrements: 3.5 Exactly what a simple burger stand should be. The fries were ok, nothing special. I wish I had seen the onion rings, I would’ve gotten those. Good fountain selection, even coke zero. The variety of different kinds of burgers you can get are solid. Atmosphere: 3 Technically, its a mall food court, but it’s the second fanciest mall food court I’ve ever eaten at with only a couple of upscale chain places, the rest of the food stands seem like one offs. There was one place that sells whole roast turkeys. Fancy indeed! They also have music videos playing on flat screen TV’s that you can pick the next video by sending a text. And the music selection wasn’t completely terrible. Neat. Overall: 3.4 This was an unexpected Burgerquest. I was just starving after a long night on the town in Chicago and none of the other food court options were appealing to me, so what the heck, burgers are a solid hangover cure. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole thing. The burger was a near perfect execution of a fast-food style burger. I could’ve gone for maybe an 8oz patty, but that’s a small detail, as the price was decent, especially for the quality of burger that I got. Coast Burger serves its station perfectly as a quick burger spot with just enough twists on the menu to make it worth going back a couple of times if you’re downtown and need a fix.
