I love this store! They have everything you are looking for to be an urban gardener and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. I’ve never been treated like I didn’t know anything and they have always been quick to help me find exactly what I’m looking for. The prices compared to other garden stores are honestly worth it because they have really great products that last a long time. I’ve been coming to this location 3 years now and we also but our Christmas tree from them every year. The man loading Christmas trees stayed after hours almost 45 mins to help load all my stuff in the car last year in the freezing cold, Highly recommend them for their unique products and outstanding customer service

I keep coming back here for their customer service and patients with a novel gardener, such as myself. From house plants (for which they can give potting, fertilizing, watering, etc recommendations) to outside flowers (what goes well together, how to water, how big will they get) to edible plants (how many per pot, how to water, etc) — they have it all!
I have purchased all my plants this year for the first time and they are all doing fabulous! Their prices can get a tad expensive, but its well worth it for the quality products. I get compliments on the pots that I have purchased from them as well.
They will definitely be my choice during planting season and beyond.

I had a great experience at Christy Webber’s Farm and Garden. The customer service was excellent. Lynn helped me find the right flowers and pots. She even planted (potted) them for me in 15 min. I’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful, healthy flowers. The people working there are knowledgeable and very helpful. They are a little more expensive, but its way better than getting flowers from Home Depot that you have to go to the trouble of planting only for them to die and need to be replaced. Also, they have many varieties which is helpful for someone picky like me! Will be back for some succulents to go inside my apartment.

Amazing selection, super knowledgable and friendly staff. Don’t be afraid to bring your kids, they have some chickens running around that are super friendly. All of the plants we have bought for our yard are super happy. In the fall you can go for their big sale and plant perennials for next year!

I’ve gotten garden flowers here in the past, and thought I’d check it out for my wedding flowers as well. I had my wedding bouquet, hair piece, and my husband’s boutonnière done by Sarah in floral. I can’t express my happiness when I received the flowers at my hotel room the day of my wedding! Amazing work!

Christy Webber Farm and Garden is a disappointment. If you are looking for great customer service, I would look elsewhere. I recently went to Christy Webber to find outdoor plants for my deck. It was like pulling teeth to get someone to help me. When someone finally did assist me, they gave me one option then scattered. Not sure what their focus is: helping people or helping plants.

Great shop. Beautiful plants. Helpful staff. Probably a little more expensive than the big box hardware/​home stores so loses a star. It’s still the only place I go though.

Over the years, I’ve gotten annuals and a ton of indoor house plants. Their staff is extremely helpful and always go the extra mile to answer questions and make sure I am happy. You can tell how much they love plants, they get all jumpy and technical :)
I recently asked the manager a tree-​related question for my dad and she was so knowledgeable and helpful!
And the chickens?! We love the chickens :)

This service at this place is always on point. I was recently in the market for an indoor tree. No one in my town or the surrounding towns had any in stock. I called CW, and of course, they had several options. The person on the phone said to come on in. When I got there, she remembered me. She brought me to their selection. I found a lovely tree at a very good price. She then asked me if I needed a pot. I told her that I did. She went outside, got a cart, loaded it with a variety of beautiful pots, brought them right to me, and proceeded to lift the tree and put it in each pot until I found one I liked. Then she offers to repot it right then and there at no cost. She loaded everything in my care and wished me a great day and asked me to come back again. This place knows how to serve customers. This is the service I come to expect here and always get.

We went to a different store last summer and while we had a good experience thought we could switch it up this summer to see if we could do a bit better on costs. We thought Christy Webber would be worth a try. We were so wrong! I have nothing positive to say about this place and will never ever return and would love to give them zero stars.
My cat was put down this morning after eating a plant they planted for us. The cat suffered irreversible damage by ingesting the plant which ultimately killed him. And yes, I am positive of which plant it was and that it came from Christy Webber. I won’t get into the detail but we were able to match it up. The ONLY specification we gave when requesting plants for our deck was that they be kid and pet friendly. I have a 15 month old and a 3 year old to think about in addition to a yorkie and of course (used to have) a cat. We always do our best to keep all kids/​pets from getting into the plants just in case, but still would certainly never knowingly plant something harmful because it is so easy for a pet or child to get into it even when they shouldn’t.
I wouldn’t be upset with the store had my husband not mentioned how critical it was that everything be kid/​pet safe when we purchased. We didn’t ask for specific colors, designs, etc. The only ask was SAFE. Plus, if they weren’t sure, just SAY SO. Tell me you aren’t sure and we will go do some additional research on our own to make sure. Had I known there was any doubt in their selection I would’ve gotten names of everything and looked it up. I would never put my kids/​pets at risk if I knew you had doubts about those that were safe. For future I won’t trust service providers to make the call on what is safe.
I am so grateful my children were not hurt or poisoned but still very upset and angry about the situation with the cat. We spent several hundred dollars on plants and we are now ripping them up. Not to mention the pain to the cat, cost of vet bills, etc.
Unrelated to the cat we did have another minor issue with them worth noting, my husband went to the store, requested they plant for us in the provided planters and worked with them on picking a few plants. Once done, they called us for pick-​up. He picked them up and paid. We get a call a little later because they forgot to load some plants. Okay, fine, that happens. He drives back, pick them up and returns home. We get a call about an hour later saying they found even more that they both forgot to charge us for AND forgot to give us. We were over it by that point and never went to pick up the rest of them.
Clearly the people here do not know what they are doing. Mistakes happen but I don’t think they are even making an effort to mitigate risk or avoid mistakes.

Eight dollars for two basil plants, both 1″ high. Both basil plants failed.
I have purchased successful plants at this garden supplier. The problem is that most items available are overpriced.

CW is a year round go-​to for us. Whether it’s Christmas Trees or perennials, soil or produce, CW has been great. As with all things gardening, nothing is ever perfect. But CW does a great job of maintaining high standards of quality. Much higher than I have seen at places like Home Depot. I also appreciate that the staff is great with «how do I…» questions that I always throw at them!

DO NOT purchase any of their indoor plants! Thanks to Christy Webber’s I now have a serious SPIDER MITE infestation! The two indoor plants I bought were infested so badly I had to throw them away and I’ve been praying that I’m able to treat my other plants that the mites have spread to.
Even their outdoor plants are of poor quality – they promised me the brown leaves on half the garden plants I purchased were normal, but sure enough, they died shortly after I planted them.
Overpriced and infested. Avoid Christy Webber’s!

They have a fantastic collection of hand glazed pots, which I love. The ONLY thing I wish they had was more saucers to go with the pots. Very helpful staff, and I went to a free class last night on bulb planting that was amazing! I just love that they have a huge selection of pots and great organic fertilizers! A teeny bit pricey, but you really are paying for the great service and it is worth every penny! Everybody is so friendly over there and so so helpful.

Formerly Grand Street Gardens, now Christy Webber Landscapes Garden Center. (I didn’t see any farming implements…). Christy Webber is a big landscaping company, and it kind of makes sense they took over here. I’m happy to report that the selection of plants, pots, organic soil here is still great.
And my big complaint about lack of service here seems to be turning towards the positive with the changeover to Christy Webber. Came here for some Dr. Earth soil, pots, and I needed something to get rid of aphids. The store clerk knew exactly what I needed, but even went one step further in asking me what plant was being munched on (kale), and recommending some other possible remedies too.
She also taught me how to repot a cactus (with newspaper guard or cardboard), just in our short conversation. Still a complete lack of parking here, especially with their side street being One Way. It’s a little inconvenient if you have a lot to load into your car. But a SOLID FOUR STARS.
