Love this location. it is well kept, and the staff is very helpful. the only thing that i don’t like about this location is one employee. I don’t know the name, but she is there at the main desk on most days. she is a heavy set woman with an amputated hand. I love going to this location but get very irritated by this woman. she is always very rude and unpleasant; no people skills whatsoever. its always such a lovely visit until it’s time to check out your books with her. Other than that specific employee everything is great at this location.

I love the library, always have. This location is a nice one and the employees are all very helpful. I use the library a lot for the free passes to Chicago museums and such. They used to have 5 passes per museum at each location but they have been cut down to 2, per city cutbacks so it can be harder to get one now. This location also serves as a satellite police station which is nice. The only thing I don’t like about this location (pretty much all locations), is too many unsupervised children running around and too many creepy looking men hanging around.

I’m on a quest to visit every branch of the Chicago Public Library.
This is one of the smaller libraries I’ve been to. The selection of materials isn’t huge unless you’re interested in VHS tapes. They have plenty of those. There is a nice number of tables at which you can work. It also seems people don’t often check out museum passes from this library. It’s kind of loud.
