The cheapest place to learn how to sail in Chicago, and believe me I looked. $ 140, which includes books, materials, all of the classes on a USB drive, gloves, and a pizza party for graduation. Plus they’ll set you up with a skipper.

A small but well stocked bar and a very friendly crowd and bartender make this place a gem!

This place is totally ghetto and great! Went here for a friends’ b’day on Saturday. If I had a boat, I’d dock it here. Very down to earth and friendly. HARD to find, though — when my cab pulled up, I thought it was a rest room building. Watch for the white anchor out front.
Note: It is «Members Only» — just like the crazy jackets.
