When I left Casanova, I felt like a million bucks. Ambrocio listened to what I wanted & gave me soft tones, more natural looking balayage highlights. The haircut is phenomenal! I have thick hair & he worked with it to give me a smooth layered cut. Every review here is on point. He has some killer hands and a true genuine passion for what he does. Thank you Ambrocio you are the BEST !!!

It was my first time to the salon and I got an awesome color and cut. Ambrocio is totally an expert at color and the aveda products are the best for blonds. Can’t wait to go back again.

Ambrosio did an absolutely fantastic job on my hair. I’m very particular about how it turns out. Everything was amazing at the salon, from the fresh ft flowers to the hand massage that Ambrosio gave. He also gives first time customers 20% off. He just opened and is going above and beyond. With 17 years of experience I highly recommend him. He also uses Aveda color and has their products if you’re interested in bringing anything home :)

Ambrocio is amazing! I’ve been going to him for the last 7 years, and have followed him twice but finally to Casanova which he opened a few months back. He’s always working because he cares so much about his salon.
He is the most easy going guy, and obviously gives an amazing haircut. Half the time I go in just because I need to relax.
I couldn’t be happier every time I walk out, he always does an amazing job. He uses a straight edge to shave my neck, a nice quick massage, and I always walk out feeling amazing.

Ambrocio expertly coaxes information from you about what you want — he is devoted to detail, insanely talented and a master of customer service. I was so incredibly relaxed and happy after my visit. Best of all, when I looked in the mirror I felt PRETTY! I expected to be pleased with my hair– but good lord– I think I was giving every mirror I came near extra attention for about a week– ridiculous :-)

Seriously the best. I used to be super cheap haircut guy and hated getting a haircut. Now I look forward to it. First time I just stopped by and Ambrocio fit me into his schedule. He is a professional who loves his work and it shows. So happy he is part of the neighborhood. See you next month!

Ambrocio washed my hair and massaged my head/​neck before making my wild hair look like a masterpiece! He listened to what I was looking for and executed it on the first try. Ambrocio is the best. He’s the most hard working person I know, talented and very passionate about his work. I used to be a box color person till i decided to go to him on my wedding day and i never went back to box ever again. I am so happy that he decided to open his own salon bc he’s just an overall amazing stylist.
As an asian, rarely hv others gotten the ‘blonde’ shade quite right for my skin, it always turned out some kinda orangeish copper color, i was a lil worried for my wedding day at first, but Ambrocio exceeded my expections by a tenfold. Not only did he get the shade perfect, he actually consulted for a colors that was even better than i thought i wanted for myself. Ive also tried a nice natural brunette that came out perfect for fall and winter. I am extremely happy with his results time and time again.
And ofcourse Aveda products are a major plus!

Ambrocio is so nice and styled my pixie cut just the way that I like it! The salon itself is designed so well and the music is great. I will definitely come back here in a few weeks. So glad this place is in the neighborhood.

I’ve lived in Ukrainian Village for going on 5 years now and tried almost every men’s salon in the area before I found Ambrocio, and I will be forever grateful that I did. He is without a doubt the best hair stylist that I’ve ever had. I’ve been going to him for the last 2 years and I can say with complete honesty that I have never been disappointed with any of my haircuts. He pays close attention to detail and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. For the service he provides, his prices are unbelievably reasonable, especially for Chicago (~$ 30 for wash and cut, or just a few dollars more than the impersonal, assembly line haircut you get at Floyd’s or Supercuts). I had such a good experience with Ambrocio that I convinced not only my wife but several friends to switch from their stylists, and they all feel very similarly about their experiences with him. If you are in the market for a new stylist, I would strongly encourage you to take your locks to Ambrocio. You wont regret it.

As a long-​time customer, Ambrocio does a great job every time I’m in. Great attention to detail, remembers previous cuts and executes each time with perfection. Several friends also use his services and are equally satisfied. Two thumbs up!

Ambrocio does such an amazing job with my hair! He is truly talented. I’m always receiving compliments on my color and cut. I love his new salon too — the space is both inviting and chic. I first came to Casanova Salon because my hairstylist Ambrocio transferred here from a previous salon. Ambrocio really knows my hair and understands what I want. All of the groovy music that they play and wine that they offer also make the environment very fun!
This salon is a very ideal place. Very relaxing, and they do a great job!
