20 minutes ago I had the most surreal experience at this doctor’s office.
I was taking my wife in to see Dr. Cary because we saw that he had fantastic reviews. When we entered, however, we saw a doctor yelling at a lady pharmaceutical rep about how if he thinks people are ugly then that’s his business. He made eye contact with us, but just went on and on about how he has his opinions and then started screeching at the rep about how old people treat medicine like their doctors instead of real doctors. The fact that he was yelling was an understatement. The pharma rep asked him if they could talk in private and he just kept yelling and finally stalked off. THIS WAS AT THE RECEPTION DESK! We kept going «This isn’t our doctor, is it?» «I hope this isn’t our doctor». But when the secretary confirmed that it was, we booked it out of there.
WTH.
We waited a month for this appointment because we heard this guy was so great. We get in there and he’s raging all over the place? Maybe we got this guy on the wrong day, but I’ve never even seen that kind of behaviour in a minute clinic.
Still in shock.

After a 40 plus wait past my appointment I was ready to walk out… however after meeting Dr. Bortnick I’m so glad I waited. He was very thorough, personable, & concerned, He seemed generally interested in me as a patient, encouraged me to ask questions and made me feel very comfortable as a new patient. I would highly Dr. Bortnick

Dr. Bortnick has been my family doctor for nearly 15 years. He’s seen my family through so much! He caught my mother’s kidney cancer at a very early stage. She was able to have her kidney removed and there’s been no trace of cancer in two years.
Our family is very grateful for Dr. Bortnick.
