*******disclaimer******** This review is only for their carnitas. ONLYONWEEKENDS So Only go here for one thing and one thing only, Carnitas. What are carnitas you ask, well here is my train of thought on that If duck confit = duck meat cooked on its own fat then… carnitas must be pork confit, lol, for it is pork meat cooked in its own fat. Their carnitas are delicious and they also offer cactus salad, guacamole and salsas to go with your carnitas. Don’t forget the bolillos(bread) it’s baked in house and perfect, buy some and make some great tortas de carnitas. Great carnitas,

Their meat is good but that’s about it. Everything else is overpriced and the owners are very rude. You also have to spend a minimum of $ 10 if you want to use debit. I prefer to go to Rio valley if I can.

Lovely family establishment, any establishment they’ve owned is very professional, clean and friendly. It’s always stocked, food is always fresh and prices are very fair. I just wish the music wasn’t that loud sometimes.

The meat seems to be the special, it is always fresh and have some of the best cuts. On weekends carnitas and menudo is also sold(in both locations). Get there early because they sell out quick! Another great thing is that they sell beer and alcohol.

Well stocked family run store. Been doing some grocery shopping for 3 – 4 years now. Always find whatever I am looking for. Good specials for a family run store. Fresh fruits, vegetables and meats. I really like their bolillo, perfect with a hot chocolate in a fall/winter/spring morning.
