Mark, the pharmacist, has always taken the time to answer my various questions about over the counter medications as well as enlighten me about the various factors to think about when I was considering a potential transition from a brand to a generic version of a medication. I feel like he really cares and I have rarely felt that way when dealing with the large pharmacies. For example, I mentioned an issue with a family member who might be in need of some home care(out of state) and he provided me with the resources to find qualified care personnel, even though it would bring no revenue to their business. Both Matt and Derek know me by name and are always kind and courteous. For a nominal fee, I have often arranged to have my prescription picked up from my doctor, filled and delivered to my home. Now that is great service! I can’t say enough about the team. I feel like I’m in safe hands and who doesn’t enjoy dealing with caring friendly people whilst going about your daily life? If you want personalized caring service, this is the place to go.

Rude, arrogant. Mark the pharmacist was terrible on the phone, demeaning. I will never buy anything from them again.

Terrible place. Will not go back. They do not stand behind the products they sell and will not refund your money under any circumstance. Watch out for Mark Paley he has a temper and will unleash it on you if you question his refund policy. Also he told his employee to «use your words» and treated him like a piece of trash. Seems like a great place to work.

The only good thing I have to say about this place is that it had the Coverlet bandages that I needed. Tge pharmacist(or worker that was there) was in the phone. It was clearly a personal call. We waited for a second because we wanted to ask a question, but just looked for what we wanted on our own. Then checking out, this guy was still on his personal call and pointed to the price in the register. He finally got off the phone and was just rude. Maybe arrogant is the bettwr word. No, I will not go back and no, I won’t recommmend this place.

TERRIBLEPLACE — Returned an unopened item one hour later — was rudely told that wasn’t possible. There are many better places to receive appropriate service — e.g. any Walgreens, CVS. One might question why they are in business.

It’s nice that there’s a pharmacy so close to my work. I don’t have any particular problems with the owner or its staff. They seem nice enough. What I did have a problem with though, is that I’m pretty sure I didn’t have to pay out of pocket for my meds, and they didn’t want to go through the trouble of confirming with my insurance, so I had to pay out of pocket for my meds. All they did was xerox a copy of my insurance card and sent me on my way. Guess where I’m going from here on out? Walgreens. They have my insurance information in their database, and they know whether I should be charged for a co-pay or not.

I had a fabulous experience at Carnegie Sargents Pharmacy. My husband was recently in a car accident and it has been very difficult for us to find a suitable walker for his needs. I have heard wonderful things about not only the pharmacy, but more specifically the owner Mark, from friends, who referred us to Carnegie. This pharmacy is very welcoming and I was impressed at the selection of products they had. Mark was very attentive and made me feel like I could really count on him. With Mark’s help, we were able to get the perfect walker. We have been going to Carnegie ever since our first time there, and I truly have nothing but positive things to say about Mark and his staff. We have gone to the pharmacy with some tricky requests and Mark has done whatever it takes to get my husband and I what we need. Mark– thank you! You’re a life saver!

Potentially I had a bad experience here– but I’ll never return. I recently broke my finger and the hand surgeon and occupational therapist I go to is right around the corner. They suggested I come to this pharmacy to pick up some supplies for post-surgical maintenance. Anyway– I came in here with this newly broken finger expecting some sympathy and help as I was unfamiliar with some of the products on my shopping list, I was nervous, I was emotional and I was alone. Not only were they all cold and heartless but they were SOVERY rude that I am upset with myself for even giving them my money. The guy running things was a real jerk. I would never ever return nor would I ever recommend anyone I care about come here or spend their money here. Walgreens is on every street corner and they are kind, compassionate, and helpful. I’d rahter give Walgreens my hard-earned money!

Great pharmacy. The Pharmacists are very knowledgeable, personable, professional and helpful. They offer many services besides being a drugstore. All pharmacies should give such great service.
