These guys are in the business to help you create. Whatever you need they can help you, whatever your budget, they will work their hardest to make it work for you.
That’s the best part about working with this company — we’ve rented from other places, and we never get the personal touch like we did here. A big shout out to Adam and Rinkesh who work tirelessly to make sure that your gear is in working order and that it can fit into your budget.
I think that if you are on the fence about using these guys, just give them a call and talk to them. They seriously will try their best to make it work, they arn’t out there to gouge your wallet and most definitely arn’t there to make millions. They are just simple, honest, transparent and most of all, sincere.

I recently directed a short film and we decided to go with Camera Ambassador because I’ve met both of the owners around the Chicago film scene and they’re both really awesome friendly people. And after renting from them, I can say that they’re also great to work with and that their staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I will definitely be renting from them again!

One of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long time! I was able to reserve and pick up the same day and because they are by appointment I could pick up after normal business hours. Brandon went out of his way to make sure that I had everything I needed and was willing to answer any questions I had about the equipment. The photographer’s bundle was by far the best value compared to any other place I looked at. I would highly reccomend Camera Ambassador Rentals! No matter if you are experienced with the equipment or just want to try out something new their team was willing to help and offer suggestions. They are true professionals who have a desire to help other succeed!

There’s an odd & aggressive barrier between business and consumer that I’ve run into all too often in this industry. The barrier often serves to create an distinct elitism between the two; leaving the consumer feeling cheated and unappreciated when rentals are all said and done.
Not only did I NOT experience this pretension at Camera Ambassador, but they went far above and beyond my expectations on a person to person level to trouble-​shoot & solve a technical problem that wasn’t even related with their own equipment. That display alone, of their customer service & loyalty, will keep me coming back for my future projects for years to come.

My experience with Camera Ambassador was so great that I’m compelled to overcome my epic laziness and write my first ever online review! As an indie producer/​director, I’ve dealt with many a production rental company first hand, and to say that my experience with Camera Ambassador was first rate, and completely refreshing, is an understatement. Instead of a faceless rental machine, the awesome folks at Camera Ambassador feel as if they are part of your crew/​project, as they will work with you to make sure your budget, technical capabilities and creative goals are served to the best of their abilities.
They truly saved a project of mine, when they enthusiastically opened up early before my shoot one morning to not only get me and my DP a much needed MOVI, but to give us an awesome tutorial on setting up and using it properly with the Red Epic we rented.

I rented a Canon 5D Mark iii and a couple of lenses from these guys. The equipment was in perfect condition, very efficient service!!! Satisfied 100% and I look forward to renting from them again.

Camera Ambassador was hands down one of the most professional and best managed camera rental shops I’ve been to. They have very friendly staff, top of the line gear, and they are more than willing to work with you for however long you need your gear.
They are also starting to start a program with Chicago photographers by letting you send in some of your portfolio and from there they would try to get you paired up with a client looking for photos like you take! It’s a great system! I have never seen any other camera rental company provide this kind of service! I would highly recommend Camera Ambassador to anybody!
