Cabinet Refacing Chicago

Moises and co. refinished our kitchen and we are very happy with the work and interactions that we had with them. They installed new cabinet doors /​hardware, built a new cabinet and a new pantry, installed crown molding, a new back splash and lights under the cabinets. Everything looks great, and they were even able to work overtime to get the job down before someone was coming into town to visit. We will use his company again.

My husband and I wanted to reface our kitchen cabinets and I had a very specific design in mind. I am always a bit cautious about working with contractors base on some of the horror stories you hear. But I could tell when I met with Moises, I liked him immediately. Mainly because we not only discussed my ideas for the kitchen, but we talked more about our families and the love of our work. And Moises and his crew are very passionate about their work.
So, I’ll get to the point.
First, this was a much bigger project than I had originally anticipated. There were major power tools set up in my home and a lot of sawing and spray painting going on. I know what you thinking… what a mess. But on the contrary, each night before the guys left, the house was cleaned up and outside of some major dust (which is to be expected), you would never have know they were there. The guys had all been with Moises for 10+ years and were more than exceptional at what they did. Sweet as pie too. We insisted on buying them lunch on the last day as they had worked so hard.
Secondly, Moises was not only able to make my vision for the kitchen come alive, but he contributed to the vision and made the overall flow of the kitchen much more pleasing. We discussed everything in detail during the planning stages and Moises was really flexible when it came to making any changes that I wanted.
Finally, the cost, or should I say, the investment. Well, basically what I received was beautiful impeccably made custom cabinet doors, crown molding, facings on the side of the cabinets, a custom wine rack and glass cabinet facings on a few of the cabinet fronts. It is a shame that you cannot post pictures on Unilocal because a picture in this instance is worth a thousand words. But check out their web site because I know they will have pictures of my project there. Overall the price I paid was reasonable and worth every penny.
I would highly recommend Moises and Patricia, not just for a refacing project, but for any project that involves woodworking in some fashion. We will be doing more work with them in the years to come.

They were helpful in scheduling and finished very quickly. We had had one of those Mr. Handyman companies Coke out to realign our kitchen drawers, and they basically said they don’t even know where to start. Cabinet refacing came in, quickly identified the problem, and fixed 8 misaligned drawers.

I have been using cabinet refacing for a little over a year and I’m not using anyone else to do wood work for my business. They are always available to do good work and are flexible with times they can show up to get the job done! The quality of the work they do is very good and the price is always on point I never feel like I broke the bank to get anything done. Overall great people and great work!
I would recommend anyone who’s trying to get wood work done to call these guys first!

I don’t know where to begin. Everything was handled perfectly from quote to delivery. Patricia & Moises were easy to work with and I couldn’t be happier with the final product. I had talked to other companies about re-​finishing this dining set which has been in our family for approximately 50 years and was told it wasn’t «worth» it. It was well worth it to us and I highly recommend The Stripp Joynt !

I have used this company four times, and each time they have amazed me with the beautiful work they do. The items are removed quickly, and returned in a short period of time, following a quality and detailed restoration. Moises and Patricia have been very helpful, both in the shop and in our home, and I feel their prices are very reasonable for the work that is done. Our dining room table was badly scratched by our dog, and they refinished the top, matching the color exactly. We have had French doors, a small decorative bench and our coffee table refinished, and having worked with other furniture restorers, I truly feel they are the best in the business. I only wonder why I waited so long to have this furniture restored!
