I have been here three times and the service has always been horrible. If you want to order for pick up is better to go online because if you call they are really slow.

Who does the hiring here? Everyone is freely cursing while in uniform. Read all the reviews. They state exactly the atmosphere here. Just take the extra 10 mins and go to the bbw on clybourn. We came at 10:40 literally was empty for a Tuesday night; our 2 orders of wings arrived at 11:30. They close at 12… Terrible ! Slow service. Everyone needs a refresher or additional training. From the hostess to the cook who obviously can’t prepare wings!

Came here with my fiancée. We sat at the bar and watched Nba. Our server was Nate he was real cool and laid back. I had the Big Jack Daddy Burger. It was amazing! Burger was cooked perfectly pilled high with pulled pork, cheese, bbq sauce and lettuce and tomato. It also came with fries. Well worth $ 11.29. The burger is big. Their buffalo tender burger is also delicious. It has two big tenders on top. This atmosphere is cool, we will be back!

Slow service, unfriendly hosts and mediocre food. If that’s what you like — this place is for you.

Came in there wirh few of my co workers. We were told to sit anywhere. Took 15 min for the 6 reps to figure whos table is it to get service. After ordering apps and wings, wings came in 20 min later. We had to look for servers to help. Good 40 mins into waiting I asked for a manager. offered slight discount and coupons for next visit. Why would I want to come back?

giving two stars is being nice. I dont know why I keep ordering from this place. Getting a take out order seems to take longer than dinning in. Everytime I call, im on hold for 10 min then odering it takes the cashier another 10 min. Then 25 min to pick up. The food is better then the service but that doesnt say much. I hope they get a good staff and bumb up the customer service in this place.

I think it’s probably best for me to preface this review by saying this is not in comparison to other BWW’s but to other wing focused establishments in general. The good: This is a GIANT space with a ridiculous amount of tv’s and ample parking. This would definitely be a good spot to catch a big game. The bad(mostly all the rest of it): I’ve never been a fan of the B-Dubs. I just don’t understand all the hype. As far as chain wing joints go, this one is definitely at the bottom of the barrel for me. We ordered boneless wings in medium and garlic parm, mini corn dogs, and fries with a side of cheese. The boneless wing itself was fine. Nothing spectacular but definitely met expectations. The sauces though … wtf? The medium sauce was definitely at least a hot on every other wing scale I’ve had. It had a good taste but was way hotter than advertised. I normally get«hot» other places but went for medium to please the hubs who I was sharing with. The face was on fire a bit and I like to pride myself as someone that can handle a decent amount of heat. The garlic parmesan barely tasted like garlic or parmesan. What it tasted like was butter and TONS of oregano. Why so much oregano? In general the flavors were just confusing. I do not get it. Mini corn dogs were just ok but the order literally had 10 tiny little corn dogs in it. It was served in a basket that dwarfed the serving size and just made it look even more depressing. To be fair, the dipping sauce was super good. Not your typical honey mustard that you’d expect but very good. Fries. Meh. Boring. The cheese sauce was pretty good but it also was not as advertised. It was more of a chili cheese sauce than anything. It was decent actually but also pretty confusing. In general, I’d probably go back to have a beer or something to watch a game or take a break during all the shopping I’m usually doing in the south loop these days. I also will definitely never seek out a BWW for a good meal as I’m pretty sure it can’t be had.

4 stars for food– spinach artichoke was a little salty but still very good. –2 stars for service. Service was kinda bad. Our server forgot about us many times. It was packed because of 70¢ wing Tuesday, but it was weird because there would be 3 waiters/tresses and a manager just chit chatting on the side, instead of helping out. I recommend ending it with cheesecake bites caramel

Worst Experience in Chicago!!! Went here and the place was about half full. Took 10 minutes to get drinks ordered, another 10 to get drinks, 45 minutes for food, and another 25 after asking for bill to get the bill. Friend and I were sitting at the bar, and it wasn’t that busy. I will NOT be coming back. On top of that, when I got my order of boneless wings, they were room temperature. Would have sent them back, but didn’t want to wait another 45 minutes…

Second time here to dine in. If you think I’m a glutton for punishment you’re right. first time I was here service was slow and the order wasn’t put in right. Moved to the upstairs bar, different service different ambience. Much bettah. Back to reality, service was mediocre at best due to high volume and low, unsupported staff. Bartender Bea did her best to tend to 30+ customers while manager Bill did all, huff and puff lest blow the house down, «where is the bartender»? Little did he know she was tending to our order that hadn’t arrived, 20 minutes later. Now who’s the big bad wolf? Had management done a bettah job at staffing/scheduling, minuscule things like fresh wedges or another round of drinks, wouldn’t be such a tedious task. I applaud the bartender and the waitstaff at doing the best they could with which they were equipped for but was that really their limit? bdubs, you’re so much better than that. I see glimpses of your potential but the path you’re on, you’re no better, if not worse than the imposter on 35th n Halsted that shall remain nameless. I say good day sir! Good day…

Pretty good wings here. You can read other reviews for how the wings are. I personally really like the curry, parmesan garlic, and buffalo. 4 stars for food because they are tasty and not too pricey. One star for poor service. I’ve dined in before and gotten take out as well. My one dine-in experience, our waitress disappeared for over 30 minutes. We postulated that she went on break with no one to cover her. Poor management of the staff. On to my take-out experience. Waiting for my food, I noticed that they would open each and every box of wings to show the customers the order. I thought that was silly; the wings would get cold! It was snowing out too so that wouldn’t help. My order came and I told the waitress«hey I don’t want my wings to get cold, just confirm my order is correct» so she did and off I go. When I get home, I noticed I was missing 10 out of 40 wings. I called immediately, spoke to a manager whose immediate reaction was so backwards, I was in disbelief. Here’s how the conversation went down: Manager: «Did our staff show you your order so you knew it was correct?» Me: «No, I didn’t want my food to get cold.» Manager: «Well that’s why we ask them to do that, so these kinds of situations won’t happen.» Me: «…are you kidding? The problem is that your kitchen and staff didn’t get the order right.» She said she understood but then made a snide remark about how it still saves everyone the hassle of an angry call like this. What in the world… WHOOSH, completely missed my point. It is NOT my responsibility to make sure the restaurant I am paying money to for food is doing THEIR job. She dismissed me again, saying I could come right away to pick up the missing wings but I wasn’t going out in the wet, snowy conditions after getting home already. I asked for an IOU like most places would do. She said they don’t do that but she could send me a gift certificate for the amount of food I was missing(10 wings). I agreed, gave her my information. She said it would take about 2 weeks to process and get it out to me. It’s been a month now. Ridiculous.

Slowest service ever & this is my SECOND time here. Took them 20 minutes to bring us our water. People behind us complained saying they have been at Bdubs for the past 2& a half hours because of how slow they are. Didn’t even have ranch for the wings.

I love buffalo wild wings, and am so glad that one opened up in the south loop! I only ever come here on Wing Tuesdays, so I assume they are busier than usual when I go. But from what I’ve seen, compared with other BWW locations, they have a hard time handling all the orders in a timely manner. I always get my order to-go and try to order well in advance because it’s always a coin toss whether they will have my order ready when I get there or not. They also only have like two people manning the to-go orders by phone, so you have to call like 10x and/or wait on hold for ~5min before you get someone to take your order. But for me this is all worth it, because I love BWW, the staff are friendly and the food still tastes good.

We were excited for a Buffalo Wild Wings to come to the South Loop! Unfortunately, the general theme of most of the other Unilocal reviews, slow service, plagued our visit as well. Prior to getting a table, we sat at the bar. Here it was quick and easy to get drinks and also easy to get TVs changed. We probably just should have stayed at the bar, because once we were seated at a table in the dining room, it was all downhill from there. Our server checked in very infrequently and we spent most of our meal with completely empty glasses. The service seemed completely disorganized, as three others tables food was sent to our table and our food was sent to a different table. Even paying the bill took significantly longer than it should have. Terrible service, but if you have a wing craving there is a Buffalo Wild Wings in town now!

Remember as a kid you waited all month to open Christmas presents, and when the moment came, you got a sweater. Well this buffalo wild wings is no different. The music abruptly stopped on this much anticipated BBWs location once the service started. The bar/restaurant layout is great; several TVs and cool bar layout on the first and second floor. I ended up going on a Thursday night around 7, the place was about 65% packed with more than enough servers on staff to handle the crowd. Unfortunately the staff was more likely to mingle amongst themselves than provide service. This place has great potential, but the hiring manager has a lot of work to do.

Let me start off by saying I have always been a huge fan of BWW so I was extremely excited when I heard one had opened up near UIC. I had high hopes because my previous experiences at other locations have always been pretty good but this is by far the worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant period. I went with a group of 6 on a Thursday night. It was pretty empty but the wait for our wings was about a little over an hour. Not only did we have to wait ridiculously long for our wings on a quiet night, they were also lukewarm & some of us were even missing 5 pieces at a time. I recommend bringing a good book because you’d probably finish it before your wings get to you to be honest. Also don’t forget to bring your own water and ration well because you wont be getting refills. After our meal, we waited for our waiter to show up to give us our checks but she had completely disappeared. We asked a server named Louis(sp?) if he could help us get our checks & he responded«i can’t help you. Im not your waiter» with the most nasty attitude I’ve ever heard from someone who works in a position dealing with customer service. He then proceeded to tell us «I don’t give a shit» when we called him out on it. I’m only writing this review so that nobody will have to experience what I experienced today. We complained to the manager & got free snack coupons but that’s not even worth me going back to this place. Save your money & eat somewhere else.

We came here for lunch one Saturday and have an enjoyable time. Décor: It’s a B-Dubs, so no surprises. There are TONS of TVs… seriously, they are EVERYWHERE! But that’s a good thing b/c it’s a sports bar. Bathroom: Again, standard for B-Dubs: clean, well lit, inviting. Staff: The greeting staff was friendly and we did not have to wait tall all to be seated, which was great! Our waitress was nice as well. She wasn’t SUPER speedy, but she was doing a fine job and was very friendly. I think she was new… of course, all the staff is new as this location just opened! Food/Drink: The food was, on par for B-Dubs. It was the highlight of the visit as it was hot and fresh and the sauce-to-wing ratio was fine — mine could have used a little less dunking in the sauce but my wife’s were perfect. Value: I didn’t really notice anything outrageous. They also claim to do the Wing Tuesdays and Thursdays but will have to verify at a later date. We love B-Dubs and will certainly come back for more wings or to catch a game.

Meh… I was torn between an 2 or 3 star review on this place due to how expensive it is but the service was decent and food… Well lets just say it’s really overpriced relative to the other BW3’s I have been to. While it is great they finally opened a location close to me, they are also making those wing specials on Tuesday and Thursday look like a great bargain relatively speaking. Heck… the Happy Hour Beer special was $ 6.75 a glass! What kind of happy hour price is that? I mean if I was in River North I could understand but this is a Buffalo Wild Wings that shares the same building as Marshall’s. Oh well, at least the finally opened and I got a chance to get my fill.

B-Dubs has finally arrived to Downtown Chicago, and better yet– near UIC!(Go Flames!) Its been weeks, months, and a little over a year since B-Dubs made its debut signage that read«opening soon.» I just arrived to Chicago a few months ago, so the wait for me wasn’t very long. Fortunately, my friend and I managed to snag some sampling tickets courtesy of the great workers at B-Dubs, and got to try out some of the great selection before Opening Day! This restaurant is HUGE! We were seated in a nice patio area that felt very personal(and got to witness a guy beating the spicy wing challenge. Buddha have mercy on his stomach tonight!). With two floors of nearly spotless furniture and giant TV screens, this place demands attention, and it certainly got it! The sampling tonight included a complimentary appetizer, wings, and a main. Our servers were really nice, although as the night dragged on, were a bit difficult to call on since it was so busy. The kitchen staff worked furiously to get our orders out quick, but for many customers, the trial and error day was at its peak. B-Dubs is the same for most spots, but this one will be a nice addition to the Maxwell community. They even have games you can play on the tables against each other… totally felt like an airplane. I’m sure we’ll be back once it opens up in a few days for the good stuff.
