Is ok I order Bowlin soup and Italian combo was ok

one of my favorite restaurants to order from
i usually go for delivery but have also been to the restaurant a few times. the vibes are cool, the food is super delicious and delivery is usually really quick. Customer service is also extremely pleasant and the place is clean

There’s not one item on the menu that I dislike!
I’m a frequent customer from 3 – 7 times a month.

I ordered a salad from here for lunch today!!! Salad never came!!! I kept calling!!! And they kept saying they were trying to get in contact with the driver!!! The driver called me 10 and said he was outside!!! No one ever showed up with my damn food!!! And the manager was really rude!!! Getting my money refunded and will never order from this place again!!! They aren’t even worth the 1 star I gave them!!!

We ordered the gyros sandwich and it was delicious. The service was attentive and the prices good. Nice place to have in the neighborhood!

Had the gyro from here and it was great. Gyro sandwiches come with fries and soda. My brother had the chicken wrap very tasty too. Our first time eating there so I’m not too familiar with the rest of the menu but the Gyro and wrap delish!

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and tonight I found out the guy doesn’t even have wifi so I can work and eat. Told that «the guy doesn’t want it» for «security». What! No clue.

We tried to order a delivery through eat 24 the girl called saying they didn’t deliver to our place even though we made sure to put our address so is showed a list of places she was rude had no idea what she was talking about and had an attitude. Horrible customer service we will never order from your establishment again. You should probably hire people with some etiquette and customer service. l experience idle would have fired that girl.

So… I notice that a lot of people have some sort sour experience and just complain about the food. I’ve been here 2 times and decided to not go back because of, yes, the food but I want to give feedback and mention that the menu is way too complicated. The amount of items ready to ordered are overwhelming and by looking at it I know that they aren’t particularly good at one thing. If I may suggest, narrow down the menu to the best selling items and most profitable for you. You’ll master the dishes faster and probably waste less food in ingredients or maybe move to fresh ingredients

I’ve visited this place so many times with family and love it more and more. I like their salad. My family love their burgers and pasta. The prices are affordable, the atmosphere feels like home, and the amount of food given is just right

Wanted to update my review since this restaurant has refused the courtesy of a response to me. A few hours after the sandwich I decided to have the chicken noodle soup. I was sick and it’s a comfort food. Well, unfortunately it was almost as bad as the sandwich. Bland and flavorless. I’d also ordered the Tres Leches cake. I thought well how can this be bad right? WRONG, it was sour! I couldn’t believe it. Since this was a 25 dollar meal I didn’t want to let this slide. I mean, one bad item, maybe, but all three??? So I’ve since called the store twice and was told the manager, Demetrius, would call me back. To date I have not received a call. I was hoping I could change this review at some point to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, their lack of response has left me no doubt. I will never order from them again. Bad food AND poor customer service.

Burgers, salads and wraps are good. However, the gyros meat has a weird sour taste to it.

Food was good but when I went back to the cashier to order a dessert separate from my initial order, she said I couldn’t use my debit card for purchases under $ 5. The cake was $ 3 so she turned down a sale to save on a few cents her credit processor would have charged? Plus, aren’t those fees considered write-​offs? I don’t know but if it were my business I would have made the sale. Seems petty.

This was my first time coming here and it was on a Sunday there wasn’t a lot of people and the restaurant was clean, and the cashiers were friendly and the service was pretty fast. The food was really good also.

Food overall is pretty good, prices are average for the neighborhood, but I’m giving them only two stars, because of the customer service.
Cashier doesn’t seem to friendly, no manners.
Doesn’t say hello, or thank you. I asked for water twice, so I just said forget it. She’s too busy talking to her girlfriends. If people want extra pickles or whatever, don’t just charge the customer the extra price, tell them ahead of time, so they are not surprised when they get the receipt.

My past experiences have been lukewarm. Service is super slow all the time. Would not recommend this place… I only come on my day off… I was here todah because I was on the bus going to the post office… I managed restaurants back in the 80’s and 70’s…I took pride in my service… which is lacking in The Bread Basket… I will be back in a blue moon. for my last meal it won’t be from here, I might be dead by the time I get my gyros sandwich. tootleoooo for know. this is Chicago Joe signing off.

Absolutely Not Edible.
I just ordered this through grubhub and for the first time ever (despite the fact I buy cheap, greasy food a lot) I had to file a complaint. I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger that was so poorly cooked they cooked bacon into the patty (it was disgusting). Also I ordered the chicken wings which were obviously frozen and undercooked — they tasted awful (the ones I could eat). The bun on the burger was stale and just putrid (This is called the Bread Basket?). Wow, just wow. Food is in its proper location — the garbage.

Their Bacon Cheeseburger dinner plate is a great deal for your money. the Brioche bun was crispy the taste of the burger itself was a definition of comfort food & the lady who took our order & waited on us (Jasmine) a true professional & very accommodating! I highly recommend this place!!!

So, I was gallivanting all over the city today, running various errands
and I found myself in the Belmont– Cragin Area, now I know this area
quite well, I actually went to Foreman High School in this area. ah, those
were the days. cutting class and getting caught by the Principal.
Okay enough about that.
So, anyway, I was hungry from all that gallivanting around and I found this
fairly new great little spot called Bread Basket.
Now, since I had never been there before I was hoping I picked a winner
and the luck of the irish must have been with me today cause It was Da Bomb!
Actually for the record I am Scottish, but I am pretending to be Irish today.:)
Okay, so I perused the menu and couldn’t believe how much variety this
place was offering me, seriously, they are open Monday through Sunday 8am-​9pm,
they serve all sorts of Breakfasts, hand made Burgers and hand cut fries, pastas,
sandwiches galore, salads, soups, chili, pizza, and they have a kids menu
where the munchkins will eat free on Tuesdays, Dine In Only.
I swear, Munchkins get all the breaks…
Okay, so I ordered these mozzarella sticks that for some reason my camera won’t
upload for me. see, there goes my luck of the irish.
But, they were Da Bomb, truly.
Served to me on a lovely Glass Plate with a Rose Design, No paper/​Styrofoam here
folks, if you dine in you eat on China.:)
And I had a Bacon Cheddar Burger with this Chipotle Mayo Sauce,
so good!
They also have up at the counter fresh baked muffins and I saw some loaves
of bread, and they say their bread comes from Red Hen, Nice!
The staff I saw today all were working hard, constantly cleaning and making
sure everything was running smoothly.
So, gotta say, I’m glad I came across this place, it’s definitely a keeper in
my book.
This place is just cool, they play great music, have great food options,
and menu prices are more than reasonable.
So, if you’re ever in the Belmont-​Cragin area you should go and visit
Bread Basket.
I’m glad I did.:)

They have the BEST pesto pizza comes w basil, tomatoes, romano, parmesan, feta on a nice thin crust. Always super yummy! Vanilla milkshakes :-)
Make sure to ask for it extra thin. Their pesto is homemade and Amazing!!! Sometimes they are out or do not have enough to make the pizza, if that is the case ask for the pasta w pesto :-)
They should sell their pesto sauce it is that good!!! s
Their pesto pizza is da bomb! This place has the best pest pizza! I crave it!!! This is my secret place for that, vanilla shakes and their house salad is a really good value (super fresh). Chocolate chop cheese
cake nothing special. Will not be ordering that again.
