Horrible, disgusting location. Eat anywhere else do not go here or it is very likely you will end up sick. I normally love boston market and have eaten at a dozen different locations. This one is an anomaly for the franchise. Poor service, horrible food, and major sanitation issues at this location. Stay away!

I can’t believe I’m reviewing boston market; I mean, it’s a Chaim, right? I’m in sales and eat on the road on a regular basis. I stopped in here this afternoon and ordered rotisserie chicken breast along with a Side of steamed veggies. Standard food. Chicken was moist and veggies were not oily and had a good assortment. Main reason this is four star is because of staff; they’re all very nice and constantly check in to make sure everything is ok.

It’s been years since I’ve eaten at Boston Market, but used to eat there on a somewhat regular basis. I remember it being pretty good in the past; however, my recent visit was quite disappointing. I had the chicken carver sandwich. The bread was so hard one the exterior that is was tearing the skin on he roof of my mouth and I had to tear top layer of bread off just to eat it. The inside of the bread was soft so not sure if this is how it always is or if the bread was sitting too long. The chicken was good but half the sandwich had a piece so thick it was hard to eat and the other half hardly had anything. Tomatoes were also not ripe and green in the middle. Sandwich lack any flavor. I could tell the sauce was good, but there was hardly any on the sandwich. Unfortunately I will most likely not be back.

Only Boston Market remaining in the city now that the North Avenue location closed. This review is only for carry out food. Flavorful tasty rotisserie chicken!

This is one of my go to places when I feel like eating some fast food like rotisserie chicken. I know most people are not really a big fan of the Boston Market franchise but it is still one of my favorites. I prefer some chicken with some mashed potatoes and a side vegetables anyday over a McDonald’s burger any day. Plus the service here is pretty quick and they always get my order correctly.

Boston Market is the only national-chain restaurant that I’ve been continuing to patronize ever since I’ve moved to Chicago. I’ve forgone 99% of national and regional chains because I’ve become a huge believer in «dine local and shop local,» but for some reason I’ve not given up on BM. Currently they are promoting the two(2) for $ 20 complete meal; you get two(2) beverages, two(2) entrees, and two(2) desserts. Ok, that’s enough to draw me in since I was at a nearby Salvation Army thrift store. The reason why I rendered three(3) stars is because the food is consistently good, but there’s nothing special to it. What you have at BM isn’t going to be the best you’ll ever have in you life. That’s just a fact, which I can attest! Everyone in this BM location is very friendly. The service there is always on point even though it’s considering as «fast-food.» Trust me, you won’t receive such great service at a McDonald’s. If you choose to do take-out, Google BM coupons or subscribe to their e-mail list. I personally have gotten lots of promo communications and coupons via their e-mails. You will save time and money through ordering online, decide your pick-up time, and pick your food up onsite.

Really good location. Good fresh food, the staff is very friendly, the place is very clean. Really good experience for a chain fast food place.

I must say for a chain restaurant this place is great! The food came out hot and delicious. But what I was most impressed with was the great service! The people who work here are all very friendly and accomodating. Maybe they are all so happy because they are surrounded by comfort food all day. Whatever it is its working! Bonus points for how clean it is too!

Foods always good, the brisket was mug better than I expected. Service is fast, staff is friendly. The only complaint is that the food is never actually hot, just warm. I guess that’s by design though.

I hate to give bad reviews to a restaurant. Especially when so many people have rated it high, but I have to be honest with my experience. Pre-Turkey day. We come in to pre-order a Thanksgiving feast, and I will say, everyone was super nice. We substituted a few items, and left with a promising feeling. When they called me to verify the order, the substitutions were forgotten, but I kindly reminded the you girl and she fixed it over the phone. Everything was fine so far. Come Turkey day. They asked us to go through drive-thru, as they were using the drive-thru as a quick«pick up your order» system, which I was totally fine with. However, I get weary with drive-thru’s because I have had some bad experiences. I was optimistic, but that feeling soon vanished. When I got up the the window, the young girl read over the wrong dishes. Again I wasn’t frustrated, things happen, so I told them what substitutions were, and they hauled them fast. Here is where it all went South. The total was $ 109, but only had a $ 100 cash on my person, so I told the young lady«here is $ 100, use the cash and the remainder charge my debit.» She responded with«of course no problem.» I then noticed that she seemed a bit distracted talking to other employees, and sure enough, she swipes my card, but I noticed the cash was still in her hand. I told my wife to check the account. I tried knocking on the window but the girl ran off. During this time, my wife confiemed that they had charged the full amount, which was $ 109. I was okay with that, a mistake again, but hey, things happen. All they had to do was give me the cash back and I would have been on my way. However, as I knocked on the window trying to get someones attention, I see her talking to what seemed to be a line manager/supervisor of some sort, and noticed him take the cash and putting it in the register. He clearly saw me knocking on the window, but I think he was trying to mitigate the charge, when he could have just told me she had charged it and we would have been done. He finally opened the window, and before he could speak I was like«hey, you charged the full amount on the card, just give me the cash and we are good.» He was then like«oh, I was going to tell you that, so I voided the transaction and charged the $ 100, plus the rest on the card like you originally wanted.“This is where I got upset. Now this gentlemen, instead of telling me «hey, we made a mistake and charged the full amount on the card, can we give you back the cash, or would you like me to void?» But instead, he caused my account to be off balance by $ 109, voided it so it takes 5 – 7 days to clear, then recharges the order, takes my cash, and charges the rest($ 4 not $ 9 oddly). Again, I get it. People make mistakes. And the money wasn’t the issue. The problem was that he didn’t not tell me first that a full charge had been made, and did not give me the option to take the cash. What if I had needed the cash? I had my money accounted for, and he caused a negative rift on my account? Who has to deal with that? I do. So now I had given up my cash, and had a charge on my card because I have to wait for a void to go through due to some other persons mistake. I spoke to the store manager, and she basically told me «We’re sorry, but there is nothing we can do now. Now your food is at the door.» She was technically right, what was done was done. However, she could have been a bit more comprehensive or tried to makes us happy. «Hey here’s a gift card» or some type of compensation for our inconvenience, but also wasn’t going to beg. She should have gone above and beyond. In my years in management, I was taught, that you do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. She basically was just like«Sorry, and your food is up there. Thanks. Bye.» I don’t blame the store manager entirely, though I do think the young man could have gone about it a different way. For one, you don’t mess with a customers money. Never ever. But the real lesson is that the young manager could have shown some management skills, and defused the situation earlier. The least amount of complaints and escalations the store manager sees, the better it looks on you. He could have stood up initially and told me what had happened. Instead, he tried covering for an employee by voiding a debit transaction then charging the cash. Oh, by the way. The reason he had only charged $ 4 to the card after the $ 100 transaction, I was missing a pie. He also didn’t tell me about that. By the way, word to the wise, never buy cold turkey for reheat at Boston Market. It was pretty gross. I have purchased warm plates in the past and they were great, but the reheat packages are gross. Never again…

I usually don’t review chains, but I felt that this particular location Boston Market deserved the PR. I love Boston Market in general — comfort food to a T. The workers here were so on top of things and peppy, so they deserve the shout-out. That’s all folks… keep up the great level of customer service!

I had to start visiting this location because they closed the location closest to me.(Rude!) I like the food… same stuff. The service could use some help though. They seem disorganized. For example, the order process is backwards from other locations I’ve been to. You walk up to the register, place your order & pay before your order is prepared. The first time I walked into this location, I walked past a few employees and stood near the food making area for, at least, 5 minutes without being addressed. When I finally asked if I could place my order, that’s when they said«Oh… you need to order by the register.» How is it that none of the 6 – 7 employees that all saw me standing there didn’t say anything? Like I said before… the food is good, the service needs help.

I love this Boston Market — I don’t know who does the managing & hiring, but everyone who works here is so helpful and almost chipper. The service is INCREDIBLE — they are really on top of things! It’s a clean space, clearly very well run, too.

I am a huge fan of southern, home-cookin’ food — and Boston Market delivers on nearly every mark. Definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of this kind of food… makes Cracker Barrel food seem like it came from a 7-Eleven. I only wish I didn’t feel like I was slightly kicked in the wallet a little too hard each time I come.

A buddy of mine has always lovingly referred to Boston Market as «high quality chee-kun». He’s always been a good buddy until recently, he’s got a new girlfriend and he’s one of those girlfriend guys but that’s another story. How do I feel about this location is the bigger question. It’s a nicer sit down chicken place then most other big chain chicken restaurants. Feels a little«industry standard» more so than welcoming. They have an ample amount of employees to fill the needs of their in store customers or drive through window. However their failures lie in the servings of food. Feels and looks more like the stuff served in a cafeteria setting and unlike a high school cafeteria there isn’t any love from the employee in the serve so it is what it is. Small in size. Some fourteen dollars later and your left thinking. I paid for that?

Today was one of those days that I did not have dinner planned and was short on time. $ 32 for a dinner for 4 with 4 large sides, 1 ½ rotisserie chicken, corn bread and a slice of cake for the little one. My bad. Did not check the bag in the drive thru. All hell almost broke loose. My 5 year old’s dessert was missing. I normally would not bother calling about a $ 2 slice of cake, but did so because my son felt it was very important to let their management know that someone dropped the ball. To be perfectly honest, as a mom, sometimes listening and agreeing when they are right is the only way to squash a tantrum before it erupts. He’s all about justice right now. Everyone needs validation. Management totally rocked and surpassed my expectations. Thank you Boston Market!!! P.S, Sweet potato casserole. Love it!
