This place is great for those who have food allergies. My boyfriend is allergic to gluten and diary and the pizza we had was delicious! I’m so happy to find a place that taste great and is accommodating

While it may not be the fanciest place, it’s the best place to get thin crust pizza the way you want it, FAST! I only wish there was one closer to me… then again, it’s probably good they are a few miles away… :)

Unique way to order pizza! I went here yesterday on the recommendation from a friend. I was really happy with the outcome! I have never been to a pizza place set up this way. It was similar to a chipotle style of ordering, letting you pick a signature pizza or one with whatever toppings you like. I ordered a bbq chicken pizza and thought it had some really great flavor. They added gorgonzola cheese and pepperoncini which added some great flavor! The pizza was made to order in front of me and put in the oven. The crust was thin and tasty! It only took about 10 minutes and cost $ 11 with a drink. I even had leftovers for today! Overall great pizza for cheap and on-the-go.

Being dairy-sensitive, pizza is sometimes not my friend. If I order it without cheese people look at me like I’m nuts, and some refuse my request. The most frustrating part is they don’t let me sub in another ingredient for cheese, so on the rare occasion that I’m allowed to order a cheese-free pizza, I’m shelling out a pretty penny for some dough, sauce and sparse toppings. But then Blaze Pizza happened and I will be forever grateful. I never get judged for ordering mine cheese-less, and I go absolutely cray with the toppings — meatballs, pineapple, roasted garlic, caramelized onions, etc and the whole damn thing is under $ 9. You may think it’s gimmicky, but then you taste it, and the crust is perfectly crispy and the toppings are fresh. Love me some Blaze!

This place gets better and better every time I come here. Service is fast and unbelievably friendly! Jasmine welcomed me and so sweetly explained to the first-timer gentleman behind me how everything worked. I struggle to make my own pizza bc I love so many different things, so right now I just ended up with garlic and goat cheese additional on top of my «Red Vine» marghertia pizza. I just get so excited! Crust and ingredients are so tasty and fresh. Good thing it’s so thin too, bc then I can eat *almost* the whole thing in one sitting! Hungry bears could definitely finish a pizza in one fell swoop, if they tried.

I tried this place out in LA a couple of weeks ago only to learn that they are in Chicago too! Some friends and I went here a couple of weeks ago and for the 2nd time in my life, I fell in love. I love casual feel. I love the amazing staff members here – they are so friendly and welcoming – I almost feel like I’m at home in my mother’s kitchen asking her to make my perfect pizza. The fact that your pizza is cooked in 120 seconds amazes me still! If you are craving a quick pizza under 1000 calories you have to go here! They are fast, it is delicious, and in my opinion it is gourmet! Oh and DONOTFORGET to get the blood orange lemonade!

Service: The ladies who served me and my friend were just wonderful and warm. Asked us if our pizza looked okay or if we wanted to add anything more to it. Food: Delicious!!! Fast + friendly service + good food = repeat customers!

This place is so cool! You can pick one of the pre-built pizza options or build your own. When you build you own, you can pick an unlimited number of toppings. The pizzas are made super fast and are authentic looking and tasting. They also have a gluten-free option, which you don’t see everywhere. Be sure to try the spicy sauce if that’s your thing. It’s the best!

Mama mia — another Chipotle-like ripoff fast casual place? Yep. But this time with pizza. But wait… I like Chipotle… and I like pizza… so I guess I shouldn’t be so surprised that I actually liked Blaze, despite being a little skeptical at first. Make your own pie or choose from one of their suggestions, either way you can’t really go wrong. The ingredients are fresh, the staff is fun, and the prices are right. All in all, a solid fast casual place.

Got delivery via DoorDash since I had a credit to use. I was skeptical as I was aware of the fast fire’d pizza, so I wasn’t sure how good the pizza would be after some time when it actually arrived. Got the Green Stripe and built my own with chicken, sausage, red sauce, ricotta, ovalini mozzarella roasted garlic, fresh basic, sautéed onions, and arugula. Boy were they yummy! It was still hot when it arrived in about an hour of placing my order. Toppings tasted rather fresh. The Green Stripe was good but preferred my own creation. Their red sauce was super tasty and definitely recommend that. I enjoyed the whole roasted garlic cloves, but it was a little too strong for my boo. Loved the arugula topping. I enjoyed the crust as it was thin and had a nice chew to it. Not sure if it was because I got delivery, but it was a little flimsy and I had to fold it over a bit to keep all the toppings afloat. I didn’t mind much though, especially as it still tasted great. Overall, I love the concept especially as there’s not really a limit on toppings and their variety of offerings is lovely. Would definitely stop in some time.

Um, yum. My friend brought me here Friday night and I am a new fan. First off, the line moves fast so don’t be deterred. I went with the spicy tomato sauce on my make-your-own pie and it was SPICY. Like, really spicy. I mentioned that to someone who worked there and he said, they make it fresh daily so some days it’s hotter than others. Um. ok. I like hot food, it was fine, but buyer beware. The toppings are plentiful. A dozen types of cheese(including fresh mozzarella balls and ricotta? check!), all sorts of veggies(roasted peppers! artichoke hearts! check!), roasted garlic cloves, you name it. I was impressed. Bakes in a few minutes. And they have smores which they will warm for you. Check check check. I am a new Blaze fan, can’t wait to go back! Nice to have a quick service decent pizza place nearby.

This is such an ingenious idea! For a flat fee, you can get a personal pizza with any toppings you want. Yes please! I’ve been wanting to check out blaze for the longest time and finally I got to try it and it was awesome. Upon arrival, the workers were so friendly and helped us out since it was our first time. I just put of bunch of toppings on bam, after a few moments my pizza was ready to be devoured. It’s like chipotle, but for pizza! All the ingredients were so fresh and in every bite, I just couldn’t think it got any better than this. I definitely want to go back and this time change my toppings. Great concept and great atmosphere.

So the last time I went to Blaze I honestly wasn’t a fan of the crust. Since then, I’ve been back and tried the gluten-free crust. I’m sold. I loved the texture, the thinness, and the crispiness of the crust. The topping options are plentiful. The counter folks are extremely nice and helpful. Put whatever your heart desires on your crust and let them wood fire it up. If you’re a vegan, vegetarian or otherwise, there’s a pizza here for you limited only by your imagination. Even if you’re not a person who avoids gluten, try the gluten free crust. It made for a really good base for the fresh ingredients.

It’s okay, but I don’t get the hubbub. The IDEA is wonderful, but the execution not so much. Kind of flavorless… Now, the s’more dessert thingy– THAT’S yum.

Blaze is one of those restaurants that has an experience down such that there’s probably not too much to change. 1. Quick, easy, customizable options. 2. Delicious. 3. Mind-blowingly affordable for downtown Chicago. What else could you ask for? Besides a location in Madison, WI, where I live, maybe?

The food & price for what you get = 5 stars. The online ordering process & manager’s attitude = 1 star. My date and I ordered a gluten free crust pizza with spicy red sauce, all of the vegetables, vegan cheese, arugula & olive oil finish. The arugula was a great addition & wonderful compliment to the rest of the veggies. Gluten free crust was crispy and flavorful. The vegan cheese doesn’t melt as well as regular cheese but it still tasted great. We placed the order online & set our pick up time. When we got to the restaurant, we were informed that we had to check-in & then they would make our pizza. The line was ridiculously long & they didn’t have a separate line for online orders. We checked in with the manager for the status of our pizza and he informed us that our order never came through their system. What a joke! When we placed our order with him, he was rude & rushed us saying«I don’t really have time for this, we close in 2 min» When we got our pizza out of the oven & asked him for the arugula finish, he threw it on in a huff, closed the box & didn’t say a word when we thanked him. What a terrible way to treat customers. Overall, the food is great but don’t expect stellar service from this location!

Overall: Fast, fresh, and down right good. Quick and cheap pizza doesn’t get much better than this. The good: The dough and ingredients are delicious. The oven-freshness is just right and the toppings are plenty(and all free no matter how many). You can order online and pick it up. The prices are pretty cheap, same as a Chipotle. It’s just… good!(So are the smores) The bad: Atmosphere is good, but it’s modern and kinda boring. Seriously, no complaints. Atmosphere: 8⁄10 Service: 8.5÷10 Food: 9⁄10

Cool place with good thin crust pizza. I met a friend here for lunch. You walk in and order from the different pizza options they have concocted or you can build your own. I ordered the Green Stripe — chicken, pesto, roasted red peppers, garlic, mozzarella, and topped with argula. Dough was chewy and not too thin. A whole pizza is a fairly large amount of food. An entire personal pizza in under 10 minutes. Plenty of seating and conveniently located adjacent to the Belmont Red Line stop. Large floor to ceiling windows for people watching. I’ll be back to try out the other pizza options. It’s also a great alternative to deep dish.

Great vegan and gluten free options! I came her on pi day, so I got a free pizza! Well worth the extraordinary line. They took special precautions when I told them my dietary choice, switching gloves and having one worker work on the pizza rather than the entire team. Unlimited veggies, with tons of fear choices! Service was fast and employees were super nice!
