Loved this place!!! You’ll pay around 20 dollars at any other restaurant in the area for a similar pizza(around 12 dollars at Blaze). Service was fast and the employees took time to explain the menu to me, which was great. I love a good thin crust pizza with white sauce options! Wine was only 4 dollars here, which was another plus. Will be back!

I love the pizza but the staff in this location is not well trained. Instead of serving a long line of customers they chatted about private matters and paid no attention to the increasing number of people in the store. There were at least 6 – 7 workers behind the counter but a backup of about 12 pizzas to be topped. The shift supervisor was not helpful even after she was made aware of the situation. Too bad.

Best way to describe it, Chipotle of pizza. Quick, customizable and fresh. The best part is choosing as many meat/veggie ingredients you want. They don’t apply much sauce so I found the pizza to be dry but overall, the pizza is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. It’s worth checking out, but I wouldn’t totally go out of the way for it.

I stopped here because it has outside seating along the sidewalk and I was starving. Pizza was the Old Vine with thicker crust. It had the freshest tomatoes and basil I’ve Ever had on a pizza. Crust was still crispy a few hours later when I finished it. I bought a salad for backup and haven’t eaten it yet but looks delicious. Great price, nice employees and clean

Literally the best pizza I’ve had in years. Customer service was great, food was delicious, and the blood orange lemonade was to die for! 5 stars in my book!

I’m surprised to see so many good reviews because both my friend and I agreed this was NASTY. It is pretty hard to screw up pizza but Blaze succeeded in that. Maybe the crust was not cooked enough or something but it was limp and sagged when you tried to pick up a piece. The cheese to sauce ratio was off and what really ruined it for me was when I asked for pesto sauce to top it and they doused it in so much pesto sauce it became a drenched mess. My friend paid $ 12 for a gluten free pizza and threw most of it away. We also felt sick after eating it. Almost threw up a little reminiscing on it lol :(Never again

Really awesome pizza. My favorite was the Green Stripe. If I come again, more like when, I would ask them to make the crust extra crispy. I came during lunch time, there was a big line, but it went quick and they are very organized and friendly.

Awesome pizza and great concept. Chipotle for pizza — bring it on! A full personal pizza with unlimited toppings of your choice for about 9 bucks, made to order and fast — whats not to love! The crust is thin — which is the way I like it and the toppings and sauces are awesome! The ingredients are fresh, tasty and you can add as many as you want. I have tried the spicy red sauce and its great — that little bit of kick makes it great. I love that I can have my own personalized pizza each time, based on my mood :)

The pizza is what you make of it, but one thing you can’t make it is filling. I wholehearted endorse this concept: design it yourself, add whatever toppings you want from a large selection of fresh ingredients, gets cooked quickly, and you can eat it there or to go. The only problem I have is that the dough is so thin, so thin, that there are more calories from toppings then there are from carbs. To feel full I have to eat 1.5−2 pizzas, which isn’t convenient or cheap. Even my girlfriend, who is 6 inches shorter, can eat a full pizza and still have room left. And so, I can’t recommend coming here and leaving hungry, when living in Chicago where pizza abounds.

AMAZINGPIZZA. Enough said. I fell in love with this place when I was in Evanston. When I realized they had locations in downtown Chicago, I got emotional. The line is always to the door when I come for lunch around noon on a weekday. For those unfamiliar with how it works, Blaze is essentially the Chipotle of pizza. Order a pizza already on the menu or build-your-own with all the toppings you want for a flat price(~$ 9). The perfect order for me is a build-your-own, starting with white sauce on half the pizza and red sauce on the other half. Then add on the cheese(ricotta for me). Then the meats. Etc. Final product is a beautifully decorated, thin-crusted pizza with the perfect crunch.

I am sold! This place ROCKS! I cannot get over the fact that for just ten dollars I received a full size personal pizza with unlimited toppings. This pizza was made fresh, with quality ingredients, and with love! The cooks here are awesome and so chill. I can’t way to go back. What is even better is that it was super fast. I was nervous about this because I was on my lunch break but it was fantastic. I ordered the green stripe which includes: pesto drizzle over grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, chopped garlic, mozzarella, arugula. I also added feta for extra tang. It was heaven. get your Blaze on!

YUM!!! I love this concept. I love pizza. I LOVE that they are gluten sensitive for my fellow celiacs out there. Upon entering I was overwhelmed with the multitude of toppings, sauces, cheeses and combinations. They also have combinations that are chosen for you. The pesto pizza is awesome. Very quick and friendly staff too. I wish Blaze would make its way down to FL!

Man, this place was surprisingly super good! My fiancé and I were craving thin crust pizza and stumbled upon this restaurant. Blaze serves thin crust pizza that is cooked within 180 seconds. The BEST deal is the build-it-yourself pizza. You have the option to choose any toppings(unlimited) — sauce, meat, vegetables — you want and it’s the SAME price as the regular pizzas($ 8.49). They are super generous with the portions too. If you pick wisely, you can potentially create a hefty meal for 2. Totally worth it! You can even split the pizza in half and create 2 different pizzas. You can even just ask for all the toppings if you can’t decide. The style of this restaurant is very similar to Chipotle as you pick your toppings down an assembly line. Don’t get overwhelmed though. The staff are very patient and check up on you often. Can’t wait to come back here again!

I love Blaze. Seriously though. No hesitation with the toppings and if you select toppings carefully, you can make it two meals. This might be the shortest review I’ve ever written, but the place is so straight-forward there’s really not much to write. Step 1) get in line(the line moves quickly and even when busy, really isn’t too bad) Step 2) skip the pre-selected options and do a make your own pizza Step 3) Pay and wait Step 4) devour your creation!

The service was impeccable. Every single employee was attentive to my needs and requests and with genuine smiles they simply served. The fact that the pizza was delicious was a bonus because just feeling so valued as a customer makes me wish I lived locally to come back again and again. Because I would. p. s. They have vegan cheese and a separate sauce that’s clear of cheese droppings at the front of the line.

Blaze is the best pizza place in the area. I had went to Blaze before in their Lakeview location and tried their pre-designed pizzas which I thought was standard. Then, this time I created my own pizza(11-inch, roughly $ 9) which turned out to be a SUPERAMAZING pizza. + The spicy red sauce is the BOMB. It adds that extra kick without having to sprinkle your pizza full of red pepper flakes + You can add as many meats and veggies as you want. Hint: Want to add everything but don’t want other people to stare(and judge) while you order there? Place your order online! They make the pizza ahead of time and fire it up in the oven when you arrive for pick-up. It’s only a short 5 – 10 min wait but it’s worth it for that hot, freshly baked pizza. + Top off your pizza with bbq sauce, pesto sauce, olive oil, and/or arugula too! + They give you a good amount of every ingredient you add! Very impressive. + A different pizza for whatever mood you are in. Love the personalization option, best pizza around, excellent use of $ 9, will be back.

Fast fresh pizza made to order however you want it? Why am I just now finding out about this place??? This is a build-your-own pizza place. For ~$ 8, you can choose from one of Blaze’s signature pizzas or build your own. You go down the line telling the staff behind the counter exactly what you want on you pizza. You choose everything from the sauce, to the cheese, to the toppings. They don’t charge per topping like most places, you just get whatever you want. Everyone gets their own personal pizza exactly the way they want it! The crust was very good — thin, but still light and fluffy. My only complaint was that the staff could have done better with wiping down tables. It was pretty busy and tables were turning over quickly without being cleaned since people just grab tables as others leave.

Blaze is a build-your-own-pizza concept. It’s hard to explain because choosing your own pizza toppings is normal. Blaze’s toppings are a little different. You follow your pizza down the line(Subway or Chipotle-style) and have full creative control over it. You want more sauce? Done. Bacon? YES. Bell peppers on half? Your wish is their command. You pay a set price(about $ 8) and you get whatever you want — as much as you want — on your pizza. I ordered the Art Lover but it was the same deal! I still followed my pizza and could add whatever I wanted. No fuss. In fact, the employee seemed a little surprised that I didn’t request more customization. They cooked the pizza in an open oven. The customization continued after they removed the cooked pizza. I could add arugula or other similar toppings but I chose not to. My Art Lover was delicious. My gluten free crust was thin. It was crispy around the edges and a little chewy(in a good way) toward the middle. The tomato sauce was sweet. The folks at Blaze didn’t seem to mind that my friend and I stayed longer than most people. Just like any other fast food joint with no waiter service, lingering isn’t a big deal. The service at Blaze was very friendly and accommodating. There were only a few things that were noteworthy. For example, my friend asked for iced tea and they directed him to the drink counter where there was no iced tea. He pointed it out to them and they rushed to brew it. Then they had to find sugar packets(which were in a box on the floor). I got an extra pizza to go(the pizza was that good) and I had to ask if they had a bag(they didn’t offer it to me).
