The place is insanely over priced. $ 5.00 a gallon for milk and the same price for a gallon of milk. Yet a handful of items are appropriately priced like a can of car foot $.99. The items you need the most Milk, Eggs, Orange Juice, Bread ect this items will cost you at least 2 times more than you pay everywhere else. When I asked the manager why is your Milk priced at $ 5.00 a gallon he just looked at me and seriously couldn’t even respond. I am all about making a profit but this place will surely not survive at these prices especially once Mariano’s opens. If you are sick, or it’s a polar vortex and need something quick and don’t mind knowing you could buy at least 2 items for what you are paying here then this place might meet your needs. You could order Pea Pod and even with the delivery fee still pay less than at this store.

The most important thing about this store is that it is very close to my apartment and open both early and late.(Indeed, it’s a great boon to all of us who live in this row of high-rises and don’t want to hike inland every time we need a bag of salad or a couple blocks of cheese.) The second most important thing about it is that it has a surprisingly utilitarian selection of groceries — the produce section isn’t going to make you swoon, but it has just enough in the way of tomatoes, greens, and a few more substantial vegetables to help you put together a tasty last-minute dinner; the same goes for the other basics too(though they usually aren’t as urgent in my household). And of course they have ice cream and beer and whiskey and all the other things you’d hope from a mini-mart too. A real boon to my block.
