Let me simplify this for everyone — DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Unless of course you do not mind being ripped off, lied to, putting up with alcoholics, mentally ill, abused by the management (especially Pat Sagar) and her list of incompetent boobs that work for her, etc.
The rooms and the prices are not the problem. It’s a cheap deal, decent, but old rooms, fairly clean, with Cable TV, and some rooms with air conditioning and even a hot tub.
The huge problems are within management and staff. First of all, if you are seemingly normal, healthy and together, they will probably end up putting your name on a special «list.» What is this list? Well, as best as I can figure, if they simply don’t like you. It doesn’t matter if you (like me and my lady did, and two other couple friends who were also victims) pay on time, keep quiet, mind your own business, polite, professional, you may still end up on this «list» that is kept at the front desk, filled with the names of hundreds of other people, most likely, who also never did anything wrong to be refused service.
We also witnessed several incidents where customers paid for their room, and for whatever reason, wanted to get their money back. Good luck! They threaten them and call the police until they leave, then you will never see your money again.
We were threatened by her mentally-​ill front desk clerk, Brian, with violence when we asked for a room. We asked for the manager, Pat, and he refused to let us see or talk to her, and continued with more threats to us. We called Pat several times, left messages to get an explanation, and never heard back from her.
They also have misleading advertising, with «weekly» rates that are non-​existent, day rates that «change» when you get there, and other unfair practices. Also, if you have to deal with their «charming» housekeeper, I will pray for you. She’s a raving lunatic that screams at customers.
Please, spare yourself the pain and hassle, and go somewhere else. These people need to be shut down by the city.
