If you are interested in an ob that has an amazing bedside manner and will successfully get you pregnant and through your first trimester, Dr. Soltes is your woman. She really takes the time to get to know you and spent 45 minutes, minimum, with me at every appointment. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her staff and receptionist are lovely and amazing as well. Truly top-notch.

Finally, a gynecologist who knows something about hormones! Dr. Soltes has a reproductive endocrinology background, and if you think your hormones are out of wack, she’ll do blood tests eight times throughout the month so see what’s going on (not once or twice like most gynecologists). She’s not in network with any insurance companies, but her rates are reasonable, and she’ll file the paperwork to get you reimbursed, if your insurance works like that. Plus, she has you do the bloodwork at Quest Diagnostics or your own primary care doctor, which usually IS in network, so the bulk of the cost is covered.
