A really great place for deep dish pizza! I got the spinach/mushroom and it was great. The cheese is really fresh — they get it from Wisconsin. The toasted ravioli was also pretty good! The veggies were fresh and even the salad that came with the toasted ravioli was tasty. Service was fast and friendly. The place is quaint and it reminds you of that old but good pizza corner.

Okay, this place has over 275 reviews, so there’s not much I can say that isn’t a repeat. So this is what I will give Bacino’s: my BF and I are planning a trip to Chicago right now and Bacino’s is the only place we’ve been before that he wants to repeat. Out of 10+ places carefully chosen as the best Chicago has to offer, Bacino’s is what he considers not only the best food in the city, but also the best pizza of his life. So if you trust the recommendation of a man who has eaten a lot of pizza in a lot of cities, then give Bacino’s a try. Your mouth will not regret the insane amount of cheese you will be putting in it.

This was another Groupon find, and being a sucker for pizza, I had to check this out. We got the sausage and spinach stuffed pizza, and it was a really good choice. The balance of cheese, sauce and stuffings was nicely done and I enjoyed my meal thoroughly. It is a small little store and when we went, there was maybe 2 other tables full with people. Only thing that could be better was that the server did not know how to deal with Groupons. He wasn’t too happy that we didn’t mention we had it before he seated us(we never do that usually and never came across a problem), and made a big deal that there is a difference between the deal and what we got so we’ll have to pay out of pocket. We had no problem with that and took care of it. Might be back if I’m in the area.

Great supreme deep dish pizza. Second time having it and realizing for deep dish it’s really good and not heavy. Had spinach and complementary mushrooms! Super filling while not causing you to let out your pants. Great place for cheesy garlic bread. Friendly and family oriented place. Really enjoyed the pizza and the atmosphere

Finding a place to get pizza on a Saturday night for a group of six is quite difficult. The best part of our experience at Bacino’s was calling to see what the wait would be and being told 15 minutes. Every other place in the area was quoting at least an hour. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated within five minutes. And then we sat and sat and sat some more, waiting for someone to approach our table to greet us and ask if we’d like something to drink besides water. The people who are responsible for water for the table were good. We waited so long that someone from the group went up to the front to ask if someone would come take our order. It was still several minutes before our server finally reached us. During all of this time, I didn’t see a single server in the section where we were seated. Where were they? Did they just disappear? Are they so poorly staffed that they cannot handle a Saturday evening dinner crowd? We finally got our drink and pizza orders in. I was served the wrong wine, but of course I never had a chance to say something because our server didn’t return until after our pizza was almost gone. The pizza was just okay, nothing memorable. I’ve had much better pizza at other places in Chicago. It was a huge disappointment especially since we had out of town guests with us. I will not be returning.

Pizza is great but why stay open late and over charge per slice…6 Dollars a slice is way too much… so many bars… you could attract so much business but you are a tad overpriced…3 slices of pepperoni for 19 dollars… far overpriced but the quality was good, wouldnt try it a 2nd time at these prices

Stuffed pie is where it’s at. We skipped the spinich and went with our preferred version of pepperoni and garlic. This pizza was delicious. Cheesy, perfectly seasoned, and with a perfectly crispy crust. Well worth a visit.

Came here on a Monday night and it was very quiet. Seems like they get more take-out during the week. I ended up ordering the pizza to go. They come in several sizes, including a personal-sized pizza. It seems tiny(~6inches in diameter??), but it is filling! I ordered the special and the broccoli pizza. In hindsight, I probably should have gone with the spinach one instead of the broccoli. The broccoli was still crispy and could have been chopped up into smaller pieces because it was a bit unwieldy to eat. However, aside from that, the pizza was tasty! The crust was fantastic — thick, crispy, chewy… Lots of cheese. Yum!

Calamari was decent. The Spinach pizza is decent/good. Delivery took a while, the pizza was soggy when it got to us, thats the issue with delivery not with the pizza. I like my deepdish crust crispier than what they serve here.

I came in with high hopes for this place because it came with high regards from Serious Eats. But, for the second time, Serious Eats really failed in their recommendation. We got the Sausage Supreme Stuffed Pizza for which they were supposedly acclaimed. This pizza came with pie-like crust, cheese, sausage(Italian), Peppers, Onions, and Tomato sauce. The only good part was the sausage. The peppers and onions were still crunchy, throwing off the consistency of the entire pie. The crust was just like a pie’s. It lacked any greasiness or chewiness that makes pizza so good. Finally, the sauce was far too sweet and lacked savoriness. It upsets me that we made a special side trip off the Red line to come visit this place. Skip it and find something better.

After walking around town for hours we figured we’d try the pizza in Chicago. We originally planned on going to the Pizza and oven grinder, but the wait was a little over an hour. I’m actually glad it was since it lead us here. Staff is absolutely amazing and the pizza is the best pizza we’ve had in a while. Definitely coming back when in town!

Came here on Lincoln Food Tour. I had the Spinach Stuffed Pizza. Very different, the crust was a little tough, but the sauce was great!

We went using a groupon pizza deal for 2 for $ 27. Had an amazing dinner! The small thick pizza was perfectly cheesy and enough for 3 people. I will definitely be back here when I’m in the area. I forgot to mention that our server was absolutely delightful. Very attentive and made a good local beer recommendation.

Ah, Bacino’s. In my quest to try as many deep dish/stuffed pizzas around Chicago as I possibly can, I discovered Bacino’s of Lincoln Park(on one of those lists that boast the best deep dish pizzas of Chicago). We had been planning on dining here for months before the stars finally aligned and we made the 40-minute trek from the ‘burbs. We were able to score a pretty good pay-to-park spot, which was exciting considering Lincoln Park can be tough because there are so many parking spots that require a permit. We walked in and were surprised to discover that there was not a soul dining at Bacino’s on a weeknight. There were a bunch of workers sitting around listlessly using their phones and joking around. We(of course) got our pick of seats, so we opted for a booth. The booth was pretty big with tall backs such that I felt enveloped in a very pleasing all-encompassing way. Comfy! I’m not sure why I thought this was a good idea at the time, but when David C. asked me what size we should order, I said«large.» We got the spinach stuffed large pizza. We waited about 35 minutes for it to be ready(exactly within the quoted amount of time). It was a very large and in charge pizza, stuffed to the brim with ample cheese and spinach. The menu said something about it being the only«heart healthy» stuffed pizza and I’m wondering if this is meant to be a joke? Clearly there was nothing(but maybe spinach) «heart healthy» about this bad boy. And we weren’t complaining. Naturally, we were way too stuffed to even take a look at the dessert menu, but our friendly waitress still gave us tiny homemade chocolate chip cookies. This was such a treat and a great touch! Bacino’s is definitely one of the best stuffed pizzas in Chicago and is very deserving of a spot in the top five. Is it *the* best? I’ve yet to determine that, as I have more exploring of the Chicago pizza landscape to do.

Great deep dish(and thin crust) without the crazy weekend lines at the downtown tourist hot spots. I love that you can get a personal pan(bambino size) deep dish here — no more arguing over toppings! My family always makes it a point to go here when they visit from out of state.

The pizza is amazing! The best I had while in Chicago. I was worried it would be too saucy but the way they add the sauce layer on top makes it blend perfectly. This was our first time eating a stuffed pizza and we loved it! It had just the right amount of cheese, spinach, and not too much crust. We also enjoyed the intimate and charming décor. Highly recommended!

They used to have an extensive beer list in addition to offering flights. When I came in recently and asked about it, the server looked at me like I was crazy. Don’t know what prompted them to make this change, but it has certainly lessened my desire to dine in. I’m strictly delivery now.

The pizza here is delicious. But, at $ 5/slice for an average size, it’s excessively expensive. No free water available, they charge you $ 3 for a bottle and refuse to give you tap water. I asked for parmesan cheese and they acted like I was bothering them. Shocked this place isn’t failing, it’s crazy expensive and overrated. Avoid.

I’ve had stuffed/deep dish pizza from only a couple places in Chicago. Bacino’s is also pretty good. I shared the Bacino’s Special stuff pizza with a coworker. Sauce is excellent! I wish they put more on. Lots of cheese just like the others other there. Server was attentive and they can open their windows in the bar area to give a patio feel. Nice place.

We found this place because of you, fellow Unilocalers, so we decided to check it out for ourselves. The place is in a great neighborhood, and right next to a dairy queen(ohhh yaaa) People must mean business in here, since when we came in around 6ish on a weeknight the place was packed and the phone was ringing off the hook. We sat in the bar area and started off with a beer flight, some wine, the caprese salad and the wings.(looked like we hadn’t eatin in days) Of course we needed more food so we ordered two individual pizzas. One pepperoni and cheese, and one supreme spinach without the mushrooms. Both were a perfect size. Overall, it wasn’t the BEST deep dish I’ve tasted in Chicago, but I would recommend giving it a try for something different. Shout out to Alex, our server, for being so friendly! The place was busy, and he handled the crowd well. Bravo Bacino’s!
