Armitage Foods

Us locals call this place «The Crack Store», because they make it possible for the regulars to get really really really high. And these regulars would call it their Oasis if they could pronounce Oasis, because (thankfully for us locals) it’s the last store of its kind on Armitage Ave. at least until you get to Pulaski.
The Crack Store’s claim to civic pride, is that they in partnership with their regulars provide 66.9 percent of the shattered glass on the ground within a two mile radius, and consider their actions of noble benefit to the community because they say the shattered glass makes the streets, side walks, and alleys appear to be paved in glitter.
Two stars for The Crack Store for hiring a security guard (a well known local gang leader) after the condo association across the street threaten to picket the store for sponsoring their now defunct Friday Night Ultimate Loser Championships (ULC) in the parking lot between rival gang members who would scream, yell, thump their chest, and throw bottles and bricks, at each other while running back and forth making elaborate gang hang signals but never shoot at each other because they only shot when small kids are around.
Armitage Foods is attempting to branch out to the green and hipster crowd by encouraging the whole «do it yourself» movement by proudly proclaims itself as Home of the «DYI Four Loko Drink», see picture
