Fraud organization as they are working like as if they are doing human trafficking to get free money from the government and the sponsors and they treat the people like trash in the shelter house. The staff has psychological issues and will yell at you without a reason by just seeing you quiet and sitting silent.
Governmental organizations clearly instructed me to remove this organization’s name from all my documents because they are also aware of their frauds and mind games which they did to me and how they treat the clients there. As, I was one of the domestic home violence victim in the shelter house.

I agree with the other reviewer.
I volunteer there, not as much as I would like, but the staff really cares about the women. In order to become a volunteer, you need to take a training course in domestic violence to become a domestic violence advocate. It’s a great program.
The staff and women tend to veer toward South Asian culture (hence the name) but there have been African-American women in the shelter as well. It’s only getting better and better and I advise anyone who wants to volunteer or get involved with a project to consider Apna Ghar.
