Okay, I’m going to begin this update with a little play on words. So here goes. I am not Domestic for the most part, and I’m not a goddess, and I’m definitely not a domestic goddess. Okay, done with the word play! But, if I were this Domestic type person I would love to fill my home with all the great things that I saw today at Anna’s Linens. I mean, come on, a bed in a bag for $ 29.99? And full size satin sheet sets for $ 14.99?Lots of big fluffy pillows and blankets, just so much here at tremendous sale prices! This store has the nicest of employees, they will welcome you upon entering and the associate who rang me up today was Alejandra, and she was very helpful because I wasn’t sure what I would be leaving with today, but definitely knew I’d be leaving with something. And, you can sign up for an Anna’s card where they track your points/dollars spent and I think you get extra savings there as well. So, honestly, I have to update Anna’s with this 5 star rating, because, from everything that I saw today they have earned every 1 of those 5 stars. And, sidebar to Anna’s. I may decide to become domestic after all. Too much great stuff to have to pass up. I guess it’s never too late…

Went To Anna’s for the first time yesterday and I will be back. Alot of good kitchen towels — huge selection of bathroom items. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I went there for one item and walked out with several more items. Great addition to Rogers Park.

Visted the Clark & Howard store today… :((( Long rant. No apologies… 1) The a/c wasn’t working well, the store was pretty warm, especially near the entrance where, it appears, you have the same window treatment philosophy as Walgreen’s, i.e. none. How you and they expect to lower the cost of a/c with the sun warming the front of the store to uncomfortable temperatures I do not know… I’m sure your employees do not appreciate intense sun-in-the-eyes, neither. …metallic blinds and/or low-e film on the glass would help that a LOT. This was awfully tough on my disabled girlfriend and client (I’m a Personal Care Assistant with the State of Illinois) as well as the staff; I wasn’t the only one becoming fatigued due to the temperature in the store. And you should know, as professional retailers, sunlight is not good for maintaining colors on anything, fabric or other. 2) I’m an amateur musician, with(unfortunately) a VERY good ear for it; most of the music I heard was distorted and that’s probably because the volume is set waaay too high. It looks like you have ‘zoned’ audio, which means each individual speaker has its own volume control right There in the center of each speaker grill. I think you need to reduce the volume on all of them. Wasn’t impressed with the musical selections, either. 3) Speaking of disabilities… your entrance /exit doors are NOT wheelchair /rollator /cane /crutches /guide-dog friendly, though many of your aisles appear to be properly spaced for same. 4) Re: a/c again. It actually smelled bad in there, as if your heating system were operational? HVAC inCLUDEs an Exhaust(ventilation) function. your store definally needs some. All those fabrics and plastics are subject to outgassing… On the positive side, your staff was very friendly and helpful your restrooms are REALLYCLEAN!, and you do carry some MADE-IN-AMERICA items. GREAT! Oh, but… speaking of hyphenation, you’re missing some, i.e. bed-in-a-bag, light-weight. and a few more I can’t quite recall. On the whole, very unimpressive

I have always loved Anna’s Linens. They have quality merchandise at really good discounts and even better sales. This store is no exception — the staff is friendly and helpful. The store is neat, well stocked and fun to shop in! I’ll be back!

I have to agree with Unilocaler Jade T. This place is grrrrrreat! I needed a little table cloth for a side table I brought to work to sort of jazz up my office space. They had it here –exactly what I wanted! They also have a great selection of curtains, bedding –all sorts of housewares –and all for really great prices! What I liked most is that it is smaller and less chaotic than Bed Bath and Beyond. That place is big and has lots of stuff but sometimes it is just too much when you want something specific and don’t want to deal with a million people. The store supervisor, Stephen, was awesome! Such a nice, professional and friendly young man. I’m so happy to have discovered this location so close to where I live!

I walked by Anna’s Linens last week thinking it was a fabric store. I returned today to buy a backdrop for an upcoming assignment. Unfortunately, Anna’s Linens is a retailer specializing in … well, linens. Bedding, bath towels, window treatments and more. While I did not purchase anything, I find their prices to be pretty great. I saw a whole wall full of $ 20 comforters, $ 10 sheet sets and hand towels for less than $ 1 each. You can’t get much better than that, unless you’re at a dollar store. Seriously!
