I’ve been a regular customer for many years and have been completely satisfied in every single visit. I’ve only had one visit where I had an issue with the results of my service in which, Carmen(the owner), was very understanding and rectified the situation for my dissatisfaction. Allure De Vie is a beautiful salon with very friendly and helpful staff who will accommodate their clients needs. Atleast that has been my experience for the last 4 years. I’m bewildered as to why there are so many negative reviews. I’ve had laser hair removal done here, as well as my daughter. They do state that it is possible that you may have a little hair growth as everyone’s body reacts differently to the laser. My daughter and I both have very minimal hair growth after getting the laser hair removal back in 2012. I’ve had my hair colored and cut by Alex and have never been more satisfied with the results. She listened to exactly what I asked for and delivered. I highly recommend Alex when it comes to hair. She’s fantastic and so sweet! Lastly, my daughter got her hair colored and cut today with Dany(who Alex recommended as she wasn’t able to do my daughters hair today). Wow! Honestly, he did an impeccable job. The highlights were exactly as my daughter described and the trim was EXACTLY the amount she wanted cut off– nothing more, nothing less. Dany is an amazing hairdresser! I HIGHLY recommend these two hairdressers– Dany and Alex. They actually LISTEN to exactly what their clients ask for and deliver nothing short of perfection. I wouldn’t trust our hair with anyone else! Also, Carmen(the owner) is nothing short of kind, professional and accommodating. She will rectify any disputes and dissatisfaction. So before making such a harsh review and impacting such a wonderful establishment as Allure De Vie so negatively, contact Carmen and I’m sure she will be glad to help. Thank you Allure De Vie and Dany for the wonderful job you did on my daughters hair. The huge smile she had on her face when we left the salon is priceless and worth every dollar spent!

The salon is lovely and the service is great, but now I have a gift certificate from December(it’s now mid-February and I can never schedule an appointment! They offer and sell so many«deals» that you have to book weeks in advance to get any service. Very disappointing!

WORSTEXPERIENCEEVER! DONOTGOHERE! I purchased a groupon for this salon based on previous reviews. After MONTHS of trying to make an apt I FINALLY was able to go in. When I showed the groupon I was informed it was in «fine print» that there would be an additional $ 25 charge-what was the point of buying the groupon if they are going to tack on hidden fees!!! I apologized & said I was not aware-if there was something we could work out. The owner then informed me that she«didn’t like my attitude and was refusing me service» AFTER taking my groupon. There goes $ 40! This is seriously a scam & the worst business woman I have ever run into

Worst spa ever. I got a deal that I’ll b fully refunded if did not get any result at the third sessions knowing that I had previous wonderful experience at different spa overseas I got result at the second session n that’s why I decided to have full body when they assure me that I’ll b fully refunded if did not get any results at the third session, but when I told them that no results till now and I’m really wondering why cz I’m sure I have to get some result according to my previous experience at different spa the owner was too rude and screamed and lost her control and according to her attitude I asked her to send me my money back cz this is what we agreed on I have been trying to call them about one year and till now no response.

This salon is amazing. Natalie always gets my cut and color perfect! I highly recommend her. This Saturday 1÷09÷16 I decided to try their spa services.(Massage, Facial, manicure) Everyone was so professional and I walked away so happy and relaxed. Love this place you will not be disappointed,

Went in with my fiancé with a groupon. They were very friendly. It seems like they frequently have deals. There’s another deal going on for hair, massage, champagne, and strawberries for 99. I give it 4 stars because the times to book were very very limited. I am more than likely to return.

I will not be returning. Used groupon to get a haircut and single processed dye and received chemical burns on my scalp! I had thought she left dye in my hair but I actually had several dime-sized scabs all across my head.

Horrible customer service. Have been calling the past few weeks about making an appointment for a groupon. Mailbox is constantly full. A woman finally called me back and stated all groupon appointments need to be requested through their online service. Followed her advice and still have not heard anything back about the appointment. Definitely take your money elsewhere.

I got a Groupon for a massage, facial, salt scrub mani/pedi for my daughter and her friend. When they got there they were told they scheduled them for the wrong Groupon and would not get all the services. What they did get was a 15 min massage, 15 min facial and a quickly pedi that was smeared and didn’t have time to dry because there was 1 girl trying to get both pedi’s in before their massage and facial. They were told one of them might be able to get her mani squeezed in. Both girls were rushed from room to room and then made to wait 10 – 12 minutes, but that time was taken off their massages and facials, resulting a hurried, un-relaxing experience. When I called to complain, Carmen basically told me they were lying. I offered to send her the picture I took of my daughter’s pedi on her cell phone and she told me it was my daughter’s fault. No offer to fix this. She told me to call Groupon. Based on this experience, I would say go elsewhere. You can drink a glass of champagne and eat a strawberry at home.

Bought the Groupon for cut, color, & Moroccan oil treatment because it was time I stopped using Walgreens color in a box. My stylist was Alex & she was super nice & very professional & really did wonders with my uneven-colored hair(uploaded picture to prove it). This place employees are great and do great work! On the other hand the lady that sets appointments and greats you, NOTSOMUCH! I purchased a group-on and be trying to get in since SEPTEMBER. I called once a month and every time i told them i had a group-on the tone completely changed. It went from«and when would you like to come in» to «we are booked into the new year and Saturdays where corporate events only!» Saturday is the busiest day for these business and to have them booked for corp. events only is highly unlikely… Funny how a friend called and was able to get in that same week! They put a group-on out there to then punish you when you purchase it. Its very simple, in the offer state… only day time apt… done! But to treat ppl so rudely when the offer is being made by your company is bad business.

Updating my previous review. My ma just had an all over color and cut today with Amanda. The owner was there. I am assuming she read the review. I admire people who take constructive criticism. She is one of those people, thus is why I changed my updated review to 5 stars. I had an expired groupon and she honored the paid amount and took into consideration a special they were having. She was genuine and different, for the better. My ma is extremely happy w her color and cut and Amanda. Will definitely be back for my ma :)

Always great service from Roberta! I have purchased a multitude of services from them including manicures, hair cuts, laser hair removal, and will be trying their facials soon. Customer service is always great! This has been my mainstay salon for a few years now. I intend on keeping it that way :)

Positive: Facial is amazing. Negative: Bought a groupon here for 3 services for $ 99. You could come with someone and each person would get a 30 minute service or you come alone and get three 60 minute services. Well the massage was about 30 minutes and it was supposed to be an hour. Again the facial was amazing and a full hour. And then there’s the pedicure which was the most rushed pedicure I’ve ever gotten in my life. I’ve also never had anyone only do one coat of polish on a pedicure ever. I mean it is a dark color, but it usually lasts a little longer if you put on an extra coat. The services also come with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. While I love chocolate covered strawberries, you know dipped strawberries with the hard chocolate, I do not really enjoy Hershey syrup drizzled strawberries. If I come back here I would only come for the facial.

This place is a challenge to review. So many good things, so many bad things — it is hard to find a way to even it all out. First, let me say that I had Angela and that I was thrilled that she knew exactly what I was talking about when I described taking my hair from a long tangled mess up to a short sharp-angled bob. When she styled it, it looked amazing — but when I got home, the cut requires a full blow-out every time I dry my hair. The color is keeping fantastically though! Now as for the salon… the place is a logistical nightmare. Angela was working on three clients at once. From the next room, there is an incessant«beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep» from the laser machines. After an hour in the salon, I was ready to walk out mostly because I couldn’t take the noise. A salon is supposed to be relaxing, but the layout and weird noises from the laser room made it less than enjoyable. Not worth the full price — but it looks like most people are Grouponing!

Yep, I was also one of the groupon users. $ 99 for 2 people to each have a 30 minute massage, 30 minute facial, and pedicure served with strawberries and chocolate and a glass of champagne. As this was for my birthday, my husband agreed to go with me, and even took on the rigorous task of scheduling the appointment for us. Surprisingly, we didn’t have too much trouble. He called, left a message, and they called right back. We tried a few different dates until one finally worked. We didn’t get a call confirming our appointment. I realized that as we were driving there and I was a little nervous. But, I was ready to bring my A-game if there was trouble. We get there, and they claimed they tried calling us, but couldn’t reach us. Were they lying? We had no voicemails. Parking was easy. There’s a big lot in back of the salon, though be careful where you park as many of the spots are reserved for some of the businesses there or the condos. The salon itself is hard to spot. It’s is on the far north corner of the huge new condo complex on Northwest Highway, just a little north of Devon. Anyways, we got there about 15 minutes early. They said that was fine and pointed us in the direction of the changing room, where we changed into robes. It is one big room, which could be awkward if you are with a friend. They give you a locker to keep your clothes, purse, and shoes, which locks and you keep the key. We were ready for our first service. The facial/massage parts are separate. I was hoping it was more of a couples massage, but that is not the case. I decided to head to the massage room first. I was very much taken aback that there was one massage therapist who was male. I’ve gotten a number of massages before, and this was the first time I was given an option. The massage itself was adequate, but I didn’t enjoy it as much. Next for me came the facial. Again, it was adequate, but nothing fancy. I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. My face came out feeling soft, but it only lasted for about a day. They did use hot stones, which felt nice. They might want to do something about soundproofing though. I could hear EVERYTHING going on outside the room. Finally, we enjoyed a pedicure together. The nail polish color selection was not the best, with only a few Essie polishes. The pedicure felt rushed to me. For example, they started using the buffer on my foot after it had been soaking for less than 2 minutes. Because of that, my feet weren’t as smooth as they normally are after a pedi. The nail polish itself does look good though — no chips or smudges. Overall, it was an OK experience, and you can’t really go too wrong with $ 49.50 for 3 salon services. But, I felt less than pampered. The facial and massage each felt short and the pedi felt super rushed. There weren’t a lot of people there when we were there, so it wasn’t too busy, but I felt like everyone was just trying to get their service done so they could get to the next person. The people working there were nice, don’t get me wrong, but it was just a hurried vibe that I got from them. I would likely go back with a groupon/deal in hand, but not without. it wouldn’t be worth it.
