I would not advise that you use this moving company. The owners of this business– Luis Orta /Wilson Marrero– are not professional and are not insured. I learned the hard way. ABC Movers(also know as WF Express and Low Rate Movers) arrived at my apartment several hours late and near 6:00 p.m., since they had apparently run out of gas on the way over. They then proceeded to take 7 hours to move my 1BR + office apartment approximately 6 miles. When we got to my new apartment, they demanded $ 600 in cash before they would unload the truck(this is about $ 200 more than I have ever paid for an in-town move). Since they had me over a barrel, I paid. Then they proceeded to damage every piece of furniture that I had, and throw my stuff around like… um, in an uncool manner. They also knocked holes into the drywall and scratched the floors. I’ve now spent $ 200 having my dresser fixed, $ 70 having the walls patched and painted, and $ 190 having my furniture cleaned. I’ve also had to throw out my 3-month old dining table, since they cracked the frame and broke a leg off. And I have no doubt that I will never hear from these fools again. As icing on the cake, the next day I also discovered one of my lamps broken and thrown into the neighbor’s yard, and a broken mirror in an alley trash can. And that’s the essense of my assessment of this company– trash.

I bought a couch at Reform Objects and they arranged moving from ABC. They wrapped the couch with multiple layers of plastic and blankets, and figured out the smartest way to get it in a tight space. They also didn’t complain about my hard-to-find house. Nice people who did a great job.

I like how the movers rated themselves… Can someone tell me if an «Adam» works for this company? If so… STAYAWAY. You’ll count on them and they won’t show up… leaving you stranded and OUTOFLUCK. Beware of fake«moving companies». No insurance, no web site = BADBAD news…
