ABC & Me Daycare

We have moved a few times so we’ve seen more than a few day cares. This is far and away the best one we’ve seen. Our son LOVED ABC and Me. Everything about it. The teachers are all so nice and welcoming. They’re loving yet also strong enough to put the kids in their place when they need it. They serve great food and had our son eating things he never would have eaten with us (like salad!). They also have a huge playroom in the back for rainy or cold days. We unfortunately had to change day cares when we moved and our son now misses ABC and still talks about it always. I would highly recommend them especially his teachers Miss Kawana and Miss Jessica.

This place is right on the busy section of Lawrence, so we would probably never picked this place to send our son. But, our neighbor told us about ABC & Me and they liked it very much. So, we decided to sent our son from 16 months. We were so glad that we did.
This place turned out to be the BEST daycare ever we have seen. Because of our work location, we had to change his daycare few times and this place was the third one. We were paying premium tuition at those places, but care given was not premium.
They take kids to the Library, book store, and play ground, which is located just behind the building. They don’t afraid the kids to make mess, so kids are open for exploring stuff all the time. There are tons of new toys and bringing in new things constantly, so the kids would never get board.
We also liked the idea of making kids wash hands fairly frequently. Hand wash is mandatory as soon as you get to the daycare in the morning, which we really believe that helping kids from being sick. Building is old, but it kept clean and providing a very safe environment.
We can tell this daycare is the owner’s passion. She carefully chose who to work there, so all the stuff are very passionate and very good with kids.
Ater having our son at ABC for 1.5 years, we just moved to a suburb. So, we had to change the daycare too… this was really sad for us and my son. I don’t know if we can ever find a daycare just like ABC & Me.

My daughter went here for a year. This school was okay. I had no problems with the staff at all. They were always nice and easy-​going. I guess the only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because of a lack of staff enthusiam that I noticed at times. But, I do recommend this daycare to parents because it is a safe and clean environment for any child.

Being a first time mom and single mother, I was hesitant about signing my daughter up for daycare here. I went ahead and did it and am glad I did. The owner and Director are very involved with the children and teachers. They are very enthusiastic with the children. However I have come in later on in the day and seen some of the other teachers a little less than motivated (but after 8+ hours of caring for toddlers I don’t blame them).
My daughter loves it here. She is in the Caterpillar room (15 months and up) and is thriving. They plan lessons for the week (this week they are learning about babies) and get the parents involved as well. On nice days they go for nature walks and to the park.
I pulled her out of a home daycare due to lack of attention (she was getting diaper rash on a regular basis) and was scared she would get even less attention at a daycare center, but she received more!!! The curriculum is followed more closely here and she is doing great!
They accept kids starting at 15 months and going up to 5 – 6 years old.
Dropping off kids is relatively easy.
Doors are locked and secure. Overall a clean center.
