A Always Florist & Greenhouse

Our daughter in DC sent an Easter arrangement through A Always Lou’s. The arrangement was delivered on time, was beautiful in appearance as well as fragrance. And it brightened our home for two weeks.

I had flowers sent for a friends birthday and was incredibly disappointed in the quality. The flowers were not fresh and died a day later. The arrangement was not impressive by any means and I will not be ordering flowers from them again.

I am very happy with flowers from this florist. Each week I receive flowers from my Love and each time the arrangement is better than the previous. Daisy, the owner, is great. She chooses the best selections and the arrangements are always beautiful and delightful. My boyfriend told her my favorite color is purple and that’s all she needed to know!

This is one of the best flower shops. There is always a great selection at a responsible price. The owners are extremely helpful. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality and beautiful flowers and plants.

I ordered Mothers Day flowers for my sister that was going to be in town for one day. They did not get delivered. I was concerned about 4pm and called. The lady asked for my address and said they were out for delivery, and that deliveries were made until 8pm. Well my sister is gone now, and no delivery, no call, or email. They ask fo order in advance one day, I ordered three days in advance. Complete fail.

We absolutely adore Daisy and her husband! After searching high and low for a florist who understood our wedding theme and fit our budget, my husband and I finally found A Always Lou’s Florist & Greenhouse. From the get-​go, Daisy and her husband provided excellent service. At our first meeting, we explained and showed Daisy some of our ideas and themes. She asked us about our color scheme, theme, etc. Daisy showed us some binders and albums full of floral arrangements that they provided for other clients and provided some insight/​suggestions, but she was never, ever pushy. She did her best to fit our vision and budget, and she even found close alternatives to some more expensive flowers that we wanted. She was very responsive every step of the way, and she remained flexible and patient even when we went back and forth on a couple details.
On the day of the wedding, she and her husband were on time (even after a huge storm and some street flooding!) and completely ready to go. She even surprised me with peonies in my bouquet, which she warned might be difficult to get in the month of our wedding. :) Their pricing is very reasonable, especially for the level of quality and service she provides. I am getting married soon and my fiancé and I were searching for a good place to buy the floral arrangements. We came across A Always Lou’s Florist and Greenhouse and decided to take a look at their selection.
The owners are a very friendly and wonderful couple who really care about helping their customers. We gave them our price range and Bill and Daisy (the owners) were both knowledgable and generous with their suggestions. We were able to stay within our budget and have gorgeous flowers for our wedding day.
Before coming here, my fiancé and I had already been to a number of flower shops and this one definitely stands out among the rest. Not only do they have beautiful, fresh cut flowers but their prices are also very good especially in comparison to other places. Any time I need flowers, I’m coming here for sure!!!

I really enjoy this flower shop because 1) the couple that own the shop are very helpful and attentive 2) they have a huge selection of potted plants and flowers and 3) they sell rare items like bonsai plants
I’ve been ordering flowers there for my friends and family since I was really young. I even got all my friends to get their senior prom flowers from the shop, they made a special deal for my friends since I had referred them.
They also are connected to other shops around the world, so I can send flowers to my family in Asia or my family in California! If you want to support an independent, local business, you should consider this shop, they have reliable service and a good selection of products!

Being the romantic and loving person that I am, I ordered flowers from this for the girlfriend. I got a mini rose bush in a ceramic pot at what I thought was a reasonable price. When I saw them, there were only 3 buds and 2 of them were dead, and instead of a ceramic pot it was giant plastic cup. I understood that it was hardly the season for roses so I called them up and asked if I could get a new one with at least get the ceramic pot that was in the picture. They agreed (apparently) and made my girlfriend stay home one evening so they could pick up the roses and drop off the new ones. Instead they gave her a completely different set of flowers (that were already not good) and again in a cheap plastic pot. The person I talked to on the phone was rude both times I called him and the delivery man actually fought with my girlfriend about exchanging the old plant with the new one. In my humble opinion, Lou’s a jerk.
